First Friday doesn't have a ticket price :)

Plus my internet at home hasn't worked for a few days so it's unlikely I'd have a stable connection by tomorrow.
 
Potato was killing it in the viper. But I think he was in an ACR. Season 1 I believe.

The R10 isnt bad if you find a good setup. I wonder how the Evora will do when it's broken in.
 
I was @473hp last time @Nurb and did 2:00's and 2:01's, so it probably will compete.
 
I wish I was racing with you guys this Friday, hopefully I get to stick with the Matmut Pug and go through my first LMP season!

I've been to Seca once.
Never been to Barber though.

Potato used the R10 for season one and the viper in season two.

I'm just joking as you would be the only one there should you of thought it was tonight.
 
So i played around with the Aston some more and low and behold, a much softer setup has completely cured the tire wear issue. Its kind of amazing to run springs in the 6.5 range with roll bars around 3 and 4 with these cars but for some reason thats what it likes. Ive also come to the conclusion that the HP is probably too high, perhaps 540 or even 530 would be better. I ghosted the Aston and tried to chase it with my Vette and i couldnt keep up.

I took the Viper out for a few laps and i saw that the ACR with the wing from the Auto shop gives it up to 40 in downforce for the rear. Lap times didnt show it as much of an advantage at Nurb GP/F, but maybe on tracks with higher speed corners this could give it an edge?
 
It might. Maybe not. When we were practicing last time around, I put downforce on 15 for the Evora, I could only do 2:02's at Nurb. I increased it to 20(max) and did 2:00 flats and 2:01's.

Dont worry, its just pre-season. Time to get familiar with your car and setup, just focus on that. Once the bullets start flying then you can get nervous hehe.
 
I guess I'll host the race again :p I'll probably use the Evora again and test it further, mostly because it goes really well with learning the DS3-Wheel transition.
 
Hey guys, I've come to the conclusion that i just can't do this series and my two. I'd be playing gt5 for a solid 5 hours straight. That's ok but that's all leagues! You can put me on the reserve list if you have one, I have and can race all the gt cars so if someone can't make it I can fill in. You can also take me out of the "crew" I'm in. Hopefully I can still make tonight after last week my Internet kept me from racing :( I just don't think I can do this on a regular basis.

No problem, mate! I'll transfer you to the Reserves, but note that once someone takes your place and you attend Season rounds, you'll be a Guest and not receive any points. In addition, if you want to become part of the Season, you'll have to speak with me privately if Season begins.

Ya I'll just be going for fun then, points don't really make a difference, if anything it makes it more fun because your just going for the win. Fairly and cleanly though!
 
Hmm, we need more GT drivers, actually drivers in general. Maybe we should advertise SPOTS OPEN in the thread title?

I thought we were using the SRT10 Coupe, but we're using the ACR? Does the ACR have a front splitter?

Fun fact: The Viper has an extra 17 PP above all the other GTs at 577.
