And I try to use the Metric system whenever possible with distance. I think it's a good habit to get in to. I can't do it with speed though. :irked:

Thanks gatrs. I found that video. I did that once in karting, how Sharp passed Magnussen. I really like the tricky ideas of it. It's a safer pass than an out-braking maneuver, because the other driver might not see you...
 
Looks like i can get 9 laps out of the softs before i need to come in, i was hoping it would go 10 but the left side tires wont agree. Im pretty much ready for this race, but ill be down for more practice tomorrow if anyone wants to get together.

Im going to miss the race again, track&field camp. :(
 
I might miss because I'm hanging out with a friend who has had a death in the family. In fact I probably will miss since if I make the race, it will start super late and go until 11 at least and by then I'll have not been able to hang with him. So if someone wants to sub for me this race, by all means.

Hold down the fort while I'm gone, Joe!

That's a good time flying, I haven't practiced yet but Kevin is running 1.30.5, the lotus is running 1.30- 1.31 and bmw 1.31. Ill practice with you after 9 pm est.

The Bimmer can run 1:30s when pushed. It's... bad on tires to push too hard though...

Probably shouldn't be talking trash about the RUF when that "Beetle" is going to kick your little corvette's ASS tomorrow.
 
Yeah as I recall the beetle was doing better than its number one hater in the Ferarri last race :dopey:

He means the RUF... some Porsches were designed by the guy who engineered the Beetle, forever entwining the two as a very similar automobile.

Maybe we should do it on Tsukuba. We could be the first ones to gather +1000 laps on that track! Imagine the fortune we'll receive from that amount of endurance!

Perfect timing! I was just thinking "my B-spec only got like 172 laps of Tsukuba in nine hours." Worst part: he won that race. o.o
 
Max laps is 200 online. So to do a thousand laps we'd have to run 5 races. What's with these goofy proposals anyway? Anyone do any LMP laps? 1:23's should be good.

It all has to do with the 24 hours of LeMons, i doubt we'd seriously race that length but having a mid-season break of running low pp cars on a short track could be exciting.

That's good to hear I'm in the 1:23's, I'm trying a new Ds3 configuration tomorrow using the R2 L2 buttons for more digital like throttle controlling. Should be interesting'
 
I have the DS3 set up like that, it works a treat, I'll tell ya.
