Im going on to practice abit now. Feel free to join.![]()
Im getting low 33's after a few laps, the Lotus is hard to drive.
It needs a tune to make it more stable stopping, Im getting oversteer everytime I go near the brake pedal and even carrying it in.
It also has quite abit of understeer mid corner now so Im obviously going in the wrong direction with setup.
Here is the current setup:
Suspension
ride height: 0 0
springs: 12.0 13.0
damp comp: 6 5
damp ext: 6 5
roll bars: 4 5
camber:1.9 1.2
toe: 0.00 -0.08
Differential
initial: 14
accel: 18
braking: 22
Any tips?

I can consistently drive high 1:30's with the Lotus Evora for the first few laps, and I'm only hitting 1:33's after the 5th or 6th lap. I'm using the following:Im getting low 33's after a few laps, the Lotus is hard to drive.

On a non-changeable weather track like Indy road course, I disagree with your choice, but that's ONLY because there's no option to change the weather for this track.Rear diff braking sensitivity should make it more stable. Try 15 or so. Also, ballast further forward. Porsches don't brake well in the rain-there's a reason for that.
Hey I was checking out the first post, I'm on the inactive list. Maybe you guys missed my post about me being moved to either the reserve list or being taken off all the lists. I just don't like being the only person in the inactive list when I pretty much said take me out.
So the 2 liveries dont count as separate cars..
In that case, I'll use the C60 Hybride or the Speed 8.
I think the Evoras main problem is it cant keep up. Everytime ive been in a lobby with someone using it, i honestly dont see it very often. gtamann did just fine with the Italia last season, so i know its not the driver. I watched one of his laps from friday and the straight line speed isnt even comparable to the field.
Yeah, I noticed the car falling back from GT drivers even when I'm drafting them. I'm sure just a little bit more horses will improve that but I'm not so certain. I think I was only able to reach roughly 185 mph on the speedway portion of the course.
Yes F=freedom C=communist
Just kidding. Though whenever I use km/h I feel like I'm flying.
On another note I need to practice Indy way more. Anyone available tomorrow?
ok my psn is mockingbird00000 (that's 5 zeros).
I also just rewatched that pass at Long Beach by Scott Sharp over Jan Magnussen (I think it was him). Quite neat little trick, make the Vette defend the inside line then go wide and take the optimal line, pass on the track out. Fun to watch, even though I am rarely interested in what ESM is doing.
MrMelancholy15Arg, am I the only person who uses km/h? My bad, but, I got up to 315 km/h in draft, 300 km/h out of draft, in BMW.
The whole race is posted under the video segments on the ALMS main page. The pass happens in the last 15 minutes or so, as well as the pass by the 007 Aston over Falken Porsche.
'Mericuh.
MrMelancholy15Thank you TT13... is it bad, that I don't actually know that main page site? Oh well, I guess that's what google's for.
And, lol, gatrs, at least you know how complicated your country makes things...
