So whats the policy on reserve drivers now and race list?

So whats the policy on reserve drivers now and race list?

If there are spots open in the field, after all the active drivers have shown up, the reserves can fill in. Is that what you were asking?

I have the DS3 set up like that, it works a treat, I'll tell ya.

So, there's nothing between us in terms of controller setup.. Now, I wonder, since we're both in the same car, who will win!? (I love having a team-mate, it means that if the Bimmer's hard on tires, I still have one main opponent to race with!)

After this race I feel like that BMW will start coming on hard times until we got to Monza. Cars like Ford and Ferarri will pull away at Monaco and Suzuki.

Suzuka, Spa and Monza are all high speed tracks, more so even than Indy... I think we might have troubles at Monaco, but I am consistent (about avoiding walls at least,) so I can always still hope that someone has a date with the wall... :B

I never considered Suzuka a high-speed track, but thinking about it I could see it viewed that way. But I recall from last season that Suzuka was one of those tracks where FH in the Ford pulled away and placed well, with all those esses and kinks. Not saying you can't win, but in the past there's been a back and forth between the more powerful, less agile cars (BMW, Jag) and the less powerful, more agile cars (Ford, 458). I think Monza will be very rewarding for BMWs, as will Spa, as will Le Mans. Monaco...not so much. But you never know what could happen. Especially with, as you point out, all those walls. Street circuits are mayhem-producing almost by nature.

That's why I love street circuits most. And, yeah, but, the start/finish line's right after a long straight! If it comes REALLY close... 💡

The Evora should be good around tight tracks.

Im showing up tonight. But I'll leave as soon as the regulars start to fill the room.
I think tje vettes (Kevin) will walk away with the series. He's got that thing really dialed in.

It's not over yet!! Who's hosting tonight?

Someone with a constantly good connection can run the room.

Thats gotta be good right? I can can host. But I've been known not to finish races lately. I'll finish tonight...promise. :)

My car was perfect the first few stints, had a nice lead. Then it all went wrong, car couldnt go 9 laps on tires anymore and couldnt keep up with the leader. Disappointed a lil, but at least my teammate and i are on the podium. Good race everyone, results will be up tomorrow.

Sorry Seth for cutting you off when you were leaving the pits going into one, didn't see you. Scared the crap out of me. Good race guys can't wait til next week.

And Seth got screwed up by his tyre choice.
Even though i had screwed up my first pit stop, i guess i got lucky.

Please, I don't *THINK* I had anything to do with the tire wall incident Cow, and I asked TechnicoloUr to look into it as a neutral official. Otherwise, good race!

P.S. Nice to see 2 Bimmers, especially battling amidst each other every time I pitted. ^.^ I guess BMW did OK- fifth and sixth in class... Damned Corvettes in 2nd & 3rd are getting a lead though!

Who won!?!?!?

Yeratel (sp?) Won for gt class.

Kevin - I had the same exact problem with my car. Had a hard time squeezing 8 laps out of the tires. Its ok though. made for some good racing between me and that guy. Everytime I came out the pits he was always right there putting the pressure on or me having to catch him and me trying to return the favor.

If you guys wanna see some good racing me and that guy must have been going at it for (it seems like) 15 to 20 laps. All clean, nothing dirty. It all came down to me saving tires and gas and him needing just two more seconds to pass me at the very end.

I finished 4th in gt. Had a little hold up at the beginning of the race. I was a half a second off pace.

I tried it out last night, but I don't know which buttons I want to use for shifting yet? It was nice to finally apply gradual throttle for once'

I was amazed at the fact that we can assign look left & look right camera functions without using the head-tracking device and that cockpit only view. I will be doing even cleaner side by side racing now. you would figure Polyphony would of lets us know in the update details section. I mean everyone is looking for the side view shots. For all who does not know just go to controller settings and assign the look left & right buttons to your D pad or Steering Wheel

Joe, try R1 and L1 to shift.

FH & THAT_GUY, the three of us were held up by each other. The first 15 minutes were MENTAL. The only person who really didn't manage it well was cowboys... Lap 5 turn 1, 3 wide, RUF braked later but turned in early and hit the tire wall... I was in the middle, and I felt/saw no bumping... So, good job all at the start.
