I started to test that, but I added a bit of weight to it since it was 1362kg(?) anyway. I'm running it at 1400kg and 550bhp at the moment. Seems like the handling is fine on it, although at Madrid you have to watch your braking point into the slight right hander before what looks like a reverse la rascasse. As you'd expect, its a bugger to stop. Miss the braking point there and you're taking damage.

You and mitch are on talking terms? We were team mates in everything and he doesnt talk to me anymore. :(

Talked to Mitch today. He's off to better games...I mean things. Guessing he still reads here all the time. I still fly the orange and black colors from NRG Racing. 👍

I know I'm not in this series but for season 5 is there any chance of an earlier start time. Just a request, sorry if I'm being irritating.

Not yet, ive been really slack with it lately. Ive got the replay but i havent bothered to look at it yet. Guess ive had other interests lately, i havent practiced yet for madrid either.
 
Same here. But I think I dont practice with it cause I know the car already. Or I'm to scared to tune it any further. Sometimes I can get too carried away and "over tweak" it to where its slower than what I had when I started hours ago. Ive had it to where my rear springs were stiffened more than 3/4 of the way and ARB split was at 6/2. I swear it made me faster. :lol:

BMW has secured one more spot in Manufacturer's, mainly thanks to Storm, and a lack of dedicated servers (lol, sorry, I know it's not your fault TG2, that Mock didn't see you...)

In other news, I know Circuito de Madrid well. This is a good city course. Though bad on tires, I think this one could be an improvement over that terrible South loop track... Bah, hass' ich ganz klar die Südschleife!

Just found out that I have to work overnight at the airport tomorrow on top of what I have to do during the day. So I wont be making tomorrows race. 👎

I have to admit that I did laugh, though.

Yeah i needed a laugh myself, i thought about doing the Benny Hill theme for the results of Laguna Seca since that whole race was pretty crazy lol.
 
That would have been a laugh. Chakaron Makaron would be pretty daft too, if you've ever heard it. Funny, but daft.

So to business. I'm assuming the 1:20 mark is the qualifying pace tonight? Best I've hit is a 1:21.037 in the BMW, and I'm sure a lot of you are bound to hit better. The V12 Vantage @ 550 bhp and 1380 kg hits the mid 1:21's, which is actually not too bad.

Im doing low 21's on good laps, but im not thrashing the car around. 12 laps on tires, which is better than i thought i would get.

Race prep done, grid 4 for the big one, car feels nicely balanced and fast, our team did a good job over the last 2 days, thanks guys.

Lizards got screwed in qualifying. Or at least the competitive one did. Not often that they have mechanical problems.
 
The Porsche's couldn't hold a candle to the rest of the GTE field. They lack power. They have 50kg less weight than the Vettes, Ferrari's (1260kg to 1210kg) but they get walked on the straightaway. Their new 991 GT3 can't come soon enough.

It's been like that the past two years. I'm not expecting much out of the 991 with their prototype right around the corner.
 
I'm sure they're capable of 2 separate projects having both be competitive. Anyway... I'm opening a room if you guys want practice.
