Ummm, I'll have to test the track you were on about, but I haven't tested the Evora on Nurburg GP. I know its faster than anything in Rolex around Sarthe though.

The Evora can handle. You just got to figure out tire wear up front. You can be 2 seconds faster, but if you pit every 6 laps, it's a waste.

I dont know what happened to Techni. But it looked like he was ironing out some issues with over steer in the beginning of the season. Seth was fast with it at Spa. One of the last places I would think it would do well at.

I can safely say it can definitely handle. I think i've gotten the tyre wear up front sorted out somewhat, actually. I haven't done a full stint in the new tune yet, but I reckon I can get at Nurburgring roughly 8 laps or more. I think I was halfway through the tyres coming onto lap 5 so...

Around six people said they wanted it this season... nobody is driving it.
Melancholy told me that might be what you meant. I don't understand why though, I've tried it a few places and it's pretty good on all fronts. I tested it a moment ago at Nurburg GP and did 1:58.4, at Monaco it was hitting 1:32.2, and Sarthe was a 3:57.9.

I was thinking of an idea today and just throwing it out there. What if next season we do RH tires only? It would allow us to stay out longer and kind of work around GT5's horrible tire wear. I hate how you can only go 8-9 laps at a time, right when you get into a groove you gotta stop. Just an idea though.

I was thinking along the lines of RH or RM tires. I'm just sick of being forced to use RS tires all the time just to remain competitive, even though I'm still lacking in that department. I know that GT class cars in the actual ALMS can last as long as 60 or 65 minutes before having to pit, or that's what them ESPN announcers say. But at the last race, I saw them last no longer than 7 to 8 laps in our race, which roughly translates to 14 to 16 minutes. But that was on RS tires in our race, and you typically don't use them unless the ambient and track temperature and other factors (i.e. rain) are right or for qualifying (but then you'd have to start the race with the same tires you qualified in). But then our races aren't as long as the actual series where their shortest race is two hours.

What I think Polyphony needs to do is at least incorporate an option that adjusts tire wear on a global setup.

Those are just my thoughts.

Maybe limit racing softs to a certain amount of sets. Perhaps 2 or 3 sets per race. Then your choice is how and when to use them. If were all honest it could work. If someone skips using mediums they should be penalized or their results tossed out.

Ironic that comes from you... A little something from Race 1 at Grand Valley East Reverse in the ITCC... you didn't use mediums... -.-

It was preseason, and I sat in the pits longer because I didn't break before hitting the pit lane, it didn't let me change tires  try again though.

Well, you finished second in that race, before I used you as an example of "what will happen if you don't follow the rules."

I had to pit twice a few times, earlier in the season, because I rushed and forgot to switch.

So, you're right, it was preseason, so don't be mad, that I took your "imaginary" points for second place down.

Hmmm... well, I dont know then. Let me know if I can be of any help in developing the cars.

The McLaren maybe?
