Just a small update for me. I haven't had internet for about two weeks at my place for some stupid reason (I'm pretty sure the reason's stupid). I'm using my friend's internet for GT Academy and to write this message. I know I've been in only one race (two if you count Spa's exhibition race), and was looking forward to more racing with you guys, but I have no idea what the status of my ISP is. All I know is when I get the chance, I'm switching.

So, I do sincerely apologise seeing no one likes it when people only race a certain amount of races, and that was never my intention, I wanted to finish the season. Seems like I missed out a lot at Madrid, which, to be perfectly honest, isn't one of my favorite tracks.

Also, what was the final ruling of my contact with Kev at Nurburgring? Just curious...

That was nothing, replay showed a glitch, you never hit me but the game did lol. No worries man, come back for Le Mans at least.

Sorry to hear the regs didn't work out for you.

I think we're going to use them as a baseline and slightly tweak them for next season.
These prototypes are very tricky to get right, it doesn't help that they span an entire decade and a half.

Okay so with Fuji up tomorrow, what's everyone hitting thus far? 1:40's look like a competitive time.

I haven't tested at all for Fuji. I'll probably be using the same setup from the pre-season race, maybe just do a quick check before we open the lobby.

I jut got DC'd from your lobby Yera... I reckon a different host might be needed if it carries on.

It's happened twice, now. Not looking good.

That was probably the most enjoyable race I've been in since I started doing organized racing here.

Yera, I was watching the first ten laps and on lap nine, turn one I kind of brake checked you. I thought we both hit the brakes at the same time and I was ahead. So I came back over and cause you to go off track. Sorry bout that. I tried to make sure I didnt try that during the rest of the race. Thankfully you were able to recover.

That Ford is amazing in the corners and easy on the tires. Lethal combination. You can thank me later for convincing gatrs last season to yive it a hp bump.

Please... Do elaborate.
You guys ran a bit late tonight?

Basically Yera and I were going at it for most of the race. We were both on the same pit schedule. But he made the decision to stay out an extra lap which turned out to be the winning strategy.

We actuly finished a while ago. Thread is quiet for some reason. ;)

Everyone, please remember to read the second post of this thread.

I've kept it somewhat short and sweet. I still expect *absolutely* no divebombing. (Have your front wheels in front of the rear tires of the drivers you're passing, if you take the inside line, when braking begins.) Failure to abide by this rule will result in a grid position penalty for the first normal season round, probation, or your complete removal from the series. It applies to everyone. The difference between the three penalties, though, is based on your current standing in the series.

I want everyone to stick to their lines on the straights this time. People were swerving too much on the straights at Tsukuba. You're allowed to defend, but you're not allowed to block. Put the other person on a difficult line, it's okay. But, if you completely force the other driver to go off-track, or make two moves to block, and you'll receive one of the aforementioned penalties.

Finally, if you're caught using so much track, that the driver beside you is put off the track, (i.e. sideswiping a car that's already on the very edge of the circuit) you will receive one of the aforementioned penalties.

Also, remember that some drivers (though, for their privacy, and protection, I can't say until after this round) are on probation. Some of you have been informed, and some of you have not been informed. Anyone who causes a crash, or is reported by a peer as "aggressive" or "dirty" while on probation will be removed from the series.

I want to clean this up before Madrid. It's the last real chance I have, to clean up the passes, before we go to a tight, technical street circuit.

I'm not going to take people's pushing and shoving lightly. From now on, rubbing's racing, but anything worse is a ticket out of the series.

So the #1 dive bomber says no dive bombing...

Inb4 drama.

That first stint was a lot of fun, we all took turns sharing the lead and no one made contact. I was able to stretch my tires a lap further though and i guess in the end i got caught in between stops. There was some good racing out there all the way around. I feel bad for Sin though, he went wide in one turn to give me room and wound up taking himself in the grass.
