Great Racing tonight guys. I made my first start in this series. I would like to join full time if that is ok. Here are some photos

Early race battle between cnd01 and Seth

Yet another lead change. On lap 6 I believe I counted four times the overall lead changed hands between Seth and me.

The GT class first live turn 1.

Nice looking Lotus Evora.

A draft battle erupts on the home stretch between classes.

Another side-by-side battle for GT class honors

cnd01 comes shooting in between the battling GT cars. No one was crashed. Good example of clean racing.

Nice looking vette, viper combo. This is the only photo I could get of these two without there only being one car besides the start

Glaf you were able to come along tonight cnd. I think you will be a welcomed edition to the series. I think there is only one race left for this season. But the itcc and rolex arent under way yet. So were not that far behind.

Been awhile since we've had some nice pics. TT13 and techi have been slacking this season!
I'm sure Seth and Pipi are more than happy to have some competition.

Le Mans this week... The day I'm going to New York.
Oh well, maybe the week after. :(

Well, im not tired. Since we havent had a lot of pics taken this year ill make myself useful and try to grab as many as i can from previous races. Granted i dont have Laguna or Monaco because i dont have the replays.

That first stint was a lot of fun, we all took turns sharing the lead and no one made contact. I was able to stretch my tires a lap further though and i guess in the end i got caught in between stops. There was some good racing out there all the way around. I feel bad for Sin though, he went wide in one turn to give me room and wound up taking himself in the grass.

Its ok kevin I think I was a lap down by that point. Im still having alot of fun in the viper this season just need to get better at racing in non racing cars. Im usually closer to the pace in racing cars. Now if pd would let us RM all the gt cars in this league this would be me

He got lucky, my controller died coming out the pits ;) and I gave up a 10 second advantage. I had a little lag and ended up braking really late for turn 1 on one of the last laps, ruined my tires and I lost the lead. Also, the GV5 has 580hp compared to the Toyota's 550hp. But it was still a pretty good race to have at least some competition.

Yo, Cn, did you win today? how did you just jump into LMP and challenge against Seth so quickly? At Fuji?

After I watched the replay, Seth did lose around 8-9 seconds. I won by 8 and I coasted down the home stretch. It would have been a heck of a finish if that wouldn't have happened. I was short pitting because the GV5 did not have the overall pace that the Toyota had. I did run a few laps in the 1.28 second bracket with low fuel though.

Given that I had problems staying in the lobby at last night's race, I'll give Sarthe a miss next week aswell. I'm so surprised that I didn't put a hole in the PS3 or the TV, or the modem, or my router, or pretty much anything in my path. Livid? Hah, if it weren't the time it happened to be (2:30am), I guarantee one of them would've been roadkill, maybe all of them. I was in that kind of mood....

It's okay though, because my keyboard is going to be smashed to pieces come Monday morning. The "S" key is being a pain, I have to really push down on the key to get it to type the letter out. Here's what it looks like if I type normally:

"o yeah orry for not being at the race lat night, It i either my internet or my upplier, GT5 not having very good erver, or omething to do with my moem or acce point router outide (where I have my TV and P3)."

Yeah.... very annoying trying to type normally and forgetting that key won't work properly.

Oh yea I know you would have been bored to death running by yourself. Are there any other people in lmp?

Here are some images from the first 2 races of the season, Daytona and Indy. Ill get to the other races later on.

After seeing that, I'm still reminded of how bad the tire life is on the BMW. I was so fast at Daytona and Indy, but the tires couldn't hold up for like half as long...

I am ready for next round. Team Pescaralo should be able to make it. Work might screw me over though.

Good session with gatrs today on rfactor 👍 Thanks again for being so helpful and giving me all the downloads i needed to race. You are some kind of quick in that GT2 Porsche, i think on my best lap i was still 6 seconds off. Perhaps i should just grab a GT1 car and maybe id be faster? lol

Hello.
Le Mans next week?
You may also subscribe to the Nordschleife and Le Mans?
If so, Peugeot 908 HDi would be my choice.

Give it some time. It was hard for me to forget my driving habits in GT5. Braking late and hammering it out of each corner doesnt work. :(

Got a computer today for rfactor but I will not be able to hook it all up til next week sometime because of my work schedule. So I'll be there hopefully by next weekend. Do they have alot more tracks on rfactor like Road Atlanta, Sebring, and Road America?

Yes you're welcome to join the series. It would be nice to see another LMP in the field.

Any track you can possibly imagine can be downloaded.
And I think that's just about all of our OG's now converted to rFactor! Maybe we should look to bring the series over to rFactor in the future...

I will be on soon enough, gatrs. Recovering from 10 12-hour days of graduate residency. Maybe sometime next week I'll be back at it. I have no idea about the driver-switching stuff for Le Mans (rFactor). Seems complicated. I'll let you know.
