You would think iracing would be idiot free, but i guess i was wrong. Check out what happened to me a little while ago. I was in the lead with 4 laps to go, (im in the yellow/orange mazda) the other guy was already a lap down and had taken several cars out already.

The thing with iRacing is that it's good for pick up races online. Something you CANNOT do with rFactor. But after awhile with the same cars, that gets old. For me at least, the races became somewhat meaningless.
Which is why I should probably try to find a good league to race in.
 
Where do you buy/download rFactor from? Might give it a whirl. Does is support PC controllers?

Google rFactor. There are some download links on rFactor.net to download it. You can purchase it in game.

They have a chance for a good finish by going green with a minute left, but they decide not to, and give the win to Lizard.
 
I don't think they should have gone yellow, honestly. Get a local yellow, get the driver out of the Ferrari and over the wall, leave the car there and keep racing. Lousy end.
 
In the time it would take me to buy and download rFactor, I could probably be at the actual track. :sly:

Pretty sweet, do they ever hold track events for road cars? Id be all over it. I currently live about 45 minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway, gatrs favorite sport is run there.

rFactor takes some getting used to...

I'm using a controller and getting pwned by intermediate AI. And this is only in qualifying, I haven't gotten to races yet.

Deffinitely will take some getting used to, but it'll be many times greater than GT5 once you get it down!
 
I hope so. Would be great to race somewhere where I won't be plagued with problem with connection with you guys.

By the way, not getting that big a selection of cars at the moment. I got like 5,000,000 cr. but there's nothing I really want. I suppose I'll need to download some cars/tracks.
 
I don't have a wheel yet, and I dunno how much they'll cost. I'll have to have a look tomorrow, but yeah controller is super annoying.

edit: nevermind i hit refresh and there it is

edit again: i dont see a 458 in my car list, perhaps im missing something?

The 458 is an add-on. You can get an Aston Lola, a BMW, I think there's an R18, and a few others.
They may cause issue when you go to play online though. So beware.
I'm getting on in a few minutes.
