In the case of the McLaren being booted on the grounds of favoring cars that have competed in the ALMS super recently, well I can understand that. However, why should it be culled because it's fast? Nothing is stopping anyone else from using it...I just don't get why I should be rewarded for getting a rather fast car and winning by having it booted.

Mitch, as I've said, it's a combination of both.
It was originally because it isn't in ALMS this year.
The fact that it's so quick was just the icing on the cake if you may.
 
Allow the R390 road car (pretty sure it's got front DF too) and throw them both in a diff class :dopey:

Just feel a bit like Maserati/Vitaphone when they got told by the ACO they couldn't race the MC12 at Le Mans because it was 'too fast', it's not their fault they made the effort to engineer a faster car than everyone else while the rest just sat on their hands....

pfffft. let the guy have the itty witty F1. I don't think that car is faster than any of the other cars.

The rounds where Mitch raced the F1 happen to be the rounds where alot of very fast people missed the race.

You can hardly ban that car based on how Mitch compared to rocko/tt13/cowboys. i mean this in the nicest way so dont go twisting my word. te fact of the matter is theyre are people faster than those guys... Theyres people even faster than me.

Instead of talking why not actually bring your yank ass with that yank GT to a race?

Speaking of the R390 road car, 35 front downforce and 80 rear downforce...kinda makes the F1 look tame.

If either of you start that again, you're both going to get a report, and will have a two race ban.
 
As far as car selection goes anyway it's up to gatrs, he's the boss so I've just got to live with the decision (even if I do express my opinion about it...).

Hey Rocko, found a car that should stick you on the pole of the grid for every race, give the R390 road car a whirl at 460hp/1250kg with max downforce ;)

Yes your ps3 is broke? I have gtplanet on my phone (app) but you cant post to the forum from your phone? Thanks he will fit in good.

He was a random at Daytona last season.
We told him he had to sign up to GTP to race. :D

And yes my PS3 is broke. :grumpy:

I'd send you mine but it's untradeable :( Gatrs probs wouldn't allow it in anyway but keep an eye on the UCD.

Got a 1:58.008 with it at Nurb GP/F, 1:58 is the benchmark time isn't it?

My UCD hates me, I tried collecting skylines and now I don't see any :grumpy:
 
This is rather disturbing....

Nissan R390 Road Car - 1:58.008
McLaren F1 - 2:01.294

Both in the first 5 laps, so similar fuel loading and tyre wear, both at 460hp/1250kg. The benchmark time is 1:58.xxx right? I know I'm on a DS3 and should be slower anyway but what times are others getting with both of those cars at the Nurb GP/F?
 
I'm gonna go crazy to get that R390 tomorrow so I'll submit some times...
