I'm gonna do the Laguna Seca 200 mile enduro in a Lotus Elise 111R '04 stock on Racing Softs

I did it in a borrowed X2010...

EDIT: I'm doing Laguna 200 mile enduro as well. In a Corvette Z06 (C5) '04 (just chose anything). With full Aero Kit. Using Sports Hards. Power reduced to 350 HP.

Do it in Sports Hards for a bit of challenge. Racing tires ruins a road car's true handling capabilities, IMO.

Ran on Sports Soft for a stint, the Elise can get a little slippy on those though
And I'm halfway done at lap 45/90

I didn't use the X2010 because I want a fun race and want to enjoy it and have something fun to drive, and the Lotus is less HP than the other cars but it is less than 1000kg it makes up for it in the turns and I'm halfway done at 45/90 laps and taking a break

Ive already completed that race but i used a formula gran turismo, i finished it in A spec and B spec

That's hardly fun now is it? I've used all manner of cars to complete it but choosing a stock car on crap tyres always makes it more of a challenge. I just wish there were more 1000km endurance races in the game (Monza, Fuji GT, etc) and a Daytona 24hr with GT cars.

Well Kaz is half designer half race car driver so things might be rushed sometimes
And btw I finished the enduro and got 1st with a 2 lap lead

I was 2nd, 40 seconds away from the 1st guy, who happens to be in the same exact car as mines It wasn't a total waste of time, though, as I learned a couple of things. Also, bear in mind that I did power-limited it down by 50 HP or so, so that could be culprit.

But sometimes I think they're biased to JDMs. I mean, having so many Skylines that is barely different from one another is just a waste of resource. I would rather instead take a few Skylines that were actually different, while also containing its global value. Also applies on other repeating car models, like Miatas. I'm not saying PD is wasting their time with this, its just that PD should sometimes consider GT's community's opinions a bit more when designing their game, like car selection, track selection, etc. Besides, is that what PD is trying to accomplish with the future of GT5 and beyond?
