Just for that, I may practice a bit.
And the above is true.

Ok I will be in with a vette

Just got done compiling my custom playlists for GT5 from GT2, GT3, and GT4 (all NTSC versions)!

You got my post about being in the LMP2 class, right Gatrs? The C60 Hybride? Also, are there any changes to the regulations and rules I need to know about? I'm also trying my hardest to get gaming rig up and running.

Youre all good, stupid! :p

I've always tried to live on my motto: We're serious about being stupid!:dunce:

Havent touched my PS3 in days now. :( Laguna Seca is one of my fav tracks though. So I should be good. :)

im having difficulties approaching the cork screw consistently, most times i seem to brake too early because im afraid of being turned around when i go through

I haven't been enjoying GT5 much lately, but I love Laguna Seca, so I should be there tonight.

I know how you feel. I always brake early when I come into this turn. When I watch the pro's do it they always go through the inside of the cork screw. If I do that the car will spin. So I have to take the more safer outside line. :(

It is possible to drive through it consistently. But it takes a while to get used to the new rhythm. I usually go outside, then dive inside the second half of the Corkscrew (the spot where there's a gap of elevation). But taking the right braking spot also takes time to memorize.

Not gonna be able to make it tonight. I got bumped up to tonight for a sleep study at the hospital. :(

I hate hospitals, good luck! 👍

As for the beamer, it still has my tune from Le Sarthe, so I'm going to try to get on right now and try, hopefully my internet works fine, it's been disconnecting me a lot lately, then telling me the network is offline even when I can see friends of mine in other rooms. I've missed racing on Friday nights, so I'm looking forward to tonight even if I lose!

By the way Kevin, I remember you posted a thread that had some guides on GT5 tuning. What was it again?

i found this thread to be the most useful. post 1 has preset tunes for different cars, post 2 has general tunes (kind of a starting point tune), post 3 and down has all the meat and potatoes you need to know about tuning yourself. it takes a while to read, but well worth it if you want to learn.

Arigatou. I skimmed through it, and doesn't look too bad.

I have a practice room open if anyone's interested.

I'm debating on whether or not to participate. Doesn't seem like there are any LMP1 guys really interested. I want to race, but then again I feel like just skipping it since I'm not familiar with any other cars in the lower classes and I don't want to race against one other person, or by myself.

Thought you had some kick ass tune for the Jag?
Then again, Seca probably isnt that car's strongpoint.

I still haven't practiced much, but I don't care. At this point, I'm in it for the fun. If I got distracted from practicing I'd try to drift this track, then I found a room where only stock street cars could race on Sport Hards, and I did a few races on Seca in a stock 111R. So much fun. I feel like spins will be a frustration if someone is pushing hard, though. That corkscrew and a couple other banked turns are great for screwing up on worn tires.

I have a quick question to ask. Do I lag on anybody's screen?

Guys I will most likely not be able to host tonight I won't be back home on time. Sorry.
