I dont think you need an all out gaming pc. Im starting to want one though. Im thinking about switching over to pc in general.

Cool race, Jav! I joined iRacing right when they updated the graphics to 2.0 and started adding the HPD and GT cars, which basically enticed me into trying it.

Playing iRacing regularly and applying some of the basics it teaches you really makes you faster at any game. Unfortunately I can't afford the elitist price of buying tracks and cars + a subscription fee for how limited it is in vehicle content. That's why rFactor is the direction I'm headed.

Also, how many people blew their motors? It seemed like people were breaking their cars left and right!

It really was a good race, sucks that I didn't get to finish thank's to an impatient driver... iRacing really molds you into being a clean driver, I never realized how many bad habits I had till I drove Spa in GT5.
rFactor is a great platform! I absolutely love it and eventhough the gtraphics are outdated it really is a step up from what GT5 has become.
I didn't see any motors go off while I was on track, there were quite a fwe incidents but then again we are talking about 2.4 hrs and 51 cars of different classes sharing the track. It really was an amazing experience! I hope we can get to experience it in the future with rFactor!

I think there was 1 Vette that blew after an accident, not sure though...

Alex Wurz is saying just in it's interim trim it's got at least the 908's d/f and there's more to come. He also says the hybrid system is much more powerful than the Peugeot's as well. 500kj is weak compared to what Toyota says it could store in it's super capacitors. They wanted more than 1MJ of power between braking points. I don't know how much hp that equals, but it's gotta be a good shot in the arm. Come on PD, model this beast and give us the option to use it's hybrid power as well!

Can't really tell from that recording, are they using a V8 or a V10?

I see your pics, and raise you these.

You guys have twitter? Thats how I found these. Follow @24hoursoflemans to get updates. 👍

I am happy that there is a company returning to interesting motorsports, and not NASCAR. An awesome sound, too. Thanks for these!

V8, V10s aren't allowed in P1 anymore. It's the same 3.4l V8 found in the Rebellion Lolas and Lexus SuperGT cars.

its actually an all new 3.4 liter V8. built from scratch no relation to the SGT engine aside from lessons learned in that. Read at Racecarengieering that crank plane is lower and has direct injection.

Sweet! I like the sound, similar to the HPDs but louder!

I'm going to Le Mans this year, expect a headline along the lines of 'DeltaWing withdraws from race due to car going missing' followed a week later by 'missing DeltaWing racer found in Saone River'.

Lol!! I got you guys, but it does bring a nice sense of diversity to the series! I've also done the Signatech Nissan and the Rebelion! And yes it already has the lightning effect in it, just need to put the sponsors in place and voala!
