Ok, time to put the GTO up there ..

Fastest T2-T4 in the whole deal, and I'm still second... Damn you, jump_ace. Back to the track I go...

Final time is like a 1'23.5xx, but I'm too lazy to try and figure it out. I just know I'm fast. Mess with the TCS, muck around with the tranny, and I may have figured this b**** out. :trouble:


Edit: Didn't even bother to look at the drag racing times... Nice showing, bbinnel and honorable mention to bhawk! Lunging that huge A-body around isn't exactly easy... :bowdown:

@Koly, well I now have to re-do my Tsukuba time I *THINK* I can't remember if I had the tcs on or not...hhmmmm....but INO it made the car WAY easier to handle at NY, I could trim time a lOT faster as I got my 1:11.2xx in like 20 min

bleh. I still need to do a lot of tranny work on the drag car. If I can get some time off work(I might get a chance today >_<. I'll lay down some initial times for Nurb and hopefully improve my drag.

New Time for the drag strip: 12.529

Took off .320 seconds, not bad ^_^

Just managed to squeeze a 12.851 out of the '69 SS. Not bad for using the stock 4-speed.

No more dizzy spells but I kinda just got out of a relationship :( F'in college...

I have a question - for the drag racing and nurb challenge, are we allowed to change the setup of the car to something completely different than what we are running in the AMC Series, but still within the rules?

Oh yeah if u were lucky enuf to choose a car that actually has enuf $$ upgrades like tranny ans suspension etc. then set it all up how u want it, that is the whole reason we are doing this in GT mode :).

Oh, so we CAN change our setup just for the drag racing and Nurb? :) Expect a better time soon...
 
Uh ... you can't change PARTS ... whatever you buy, you're stuck with until atleast half way through the series (when you can get a whole new car if you want). You can change your setup/settings of those parts ... but not swap them out for completely different ones.

Oh - I thought that from jump_ace's answer that for these season long races you could completely change your setup from what we pm'd you for the actual series. My bad.

I'm holding off on doing the 'Ring... Mission 34 has still left me scarred.

Honestly dude PD admitted they really screwed up on mission 34, if u can get within 8 seconds of the lead car u beat it, trust me I got within 3 seconds on a few occasions and everyone else in the world (PAL) gets to wait 8 less seconds at the start. And yeah the Cuda has a GREAT drag time indeed!

Beating 34 gives a lot of satisfaction. From a person who knows. :D I think I'm giving up on the Nur... Until I change cars.

Alright alright, enough of these secrets...lol. Good time Nat! I also just thought it may be fun to have a drag race with NO tcs on, not apart of the series, but just fun to try and control these BEASTS!
