All across GTPlanet we see Tuned Gr.3 series' with the same cars. Even in the NON-Tuned Gr.3 ARL League, we dont see most of what this series will see. We have taken the time to carefully get all the cars as close as humanly possible, BOP is based off of 600HP and 2500LBS. That is where each car started, and then we adjusted them from there to get all the cars as close to our target time as possible. Multiple test runs were made with these cars. They are close, however, setups can change everyone's speed in each car. We will be going with a Ballast for the HP to keep the racing close. This is not designed to take anything away from anyone else, this is designed to bring the competition closer on the track!
A race day 9am confirmation for full time drivers. From 9am est to 5pm est the reserves who have not made it known that they are available throughout the week will have the option to confirm. From 5pm est to race time it will be first come first serve basis.

FRIDAY NIGHTS! March 6th is the first race of the season and will run every other week!

Only three names per car!

  • IT IS *YOUR* RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY YOUR BOP PRIOR TO RACE NIGHTS. BOP LIST WILL BE PROVIDED IN THE 2ND POST OF THIS THREAD.
  • IF BOP IS FOUND TO BE OUT OF TOLERANCE POST RACE, YOUR POINTS FOR THE NIGHT WILL BE ERASED, AND YOU WILL START AT THE REAR OF THE FOLLOWING RACE. THIS DQ MAKES YOU INELIGIBLE FOR FOR THE REGENERATION OF HP.

    • BOP is custom for race one. Following the results of Race 1 HP Handicap will be applied to the top 6 finishers in the following manner:
1st Place = 4% HP Decrease
2nd Place = 3% HP Decrease
3rd Place = 3% HP Decrease
4th Place = 2% HP Decrease
5th Place = 1% HP Decrease
6th Place = 1% HP Decrease

  • The maximum amount of HP Handicap a driver can lose throughout the Season is 6%. If a driver who has an HP Handicap finishes outside of the top 6 will receive some of their HP back. We want multiple people to join and run the league. By doing the above we hope to have some close racing, and a close points battle.

  • After the 2nd Race HP Regenerate could be in effect and will allow Drivers who have had their HP Handicapped but finished outside of the top 6. *DRIVERS MUST FINISH RACES WITHOUT STOPPING ON TRACK AT ANY POINT TO RECEIVE A REGENERATION. THIS IS TO KEEP DRIVERS FROM STOPPING JUST TO GET THEIR REGENERATION FOR THE NEXT RACE ON THE SCHEDULE.
7th Place = 1% Regenerated
8th Place = 1% Regenerated
9th Place = 1% Regenerated
10th Place = 1% Regenerated
11th Place = 2% Regenerated
12th Place = 2% Regenerated
13th Place = 2% Regenerated
14th Place = 2% Regenerated
15th Place = 3% Regenerated
16th Place = 3% Regenerated

  • Regeneration is only applied to drivers who have received a handicap. If you have not received a handicap, you are not eligible for any type of Regeneration.
  • Racing Medium and Racing Soft tires are allowed to be used.
  • You may practice on either compound.
  • From the start of Qualifying, only a single set of Racing Soft tires will be allowed.
  • Racing soft Tires are used once a timed lap has been completed.
  • If a driver chooses to use their set of Racing Soft tires in qualifying, then they will only have Racing Medium tires for the race.
  • Stock livery's are Not Allowed.
  • ARL Number Plates are not required, but would be greatly appreciated. Can be found Here
  • Number plates are required to be on both doors AND either the hood or roof.
  • Driver Names are required on the car somewhere.
  • Any livery that contains foul language, pornographic material, is not allowed.
  • Livery's are to be posted in the thread prior to race season.

  • 9:00pm - 9:10pm: Qualifying
  • Immediately after Qualifying: Remain on track and park vehicle after sector 1 so we can record qualifying times and prepare to set the grid.
  • 9:15pm - 10:50pm: Race
  • Race starts will utilize a rolling start. There may be a course that may push a slightly different start but there will be *NO FORMATION LAP*
  • Qualifying will be held in the race lobby before the race.
  • All qualifying sessions will run on the same settings as the race.
  • Time Limit: 10 minutes (Drivers who crossed the line before the 10 minute time limit will be allowed to complete their lap!)
  • Tire Wear: x2
  • Fuel Consumption: x1
  • If you don't qualify, you will start behind all qualified cars in series points order.

    • As sim racing drivers sometimes we forget that this is a game and let our competitive nature take over to the point we ruin other drivers races, forget the rules from time to time or have a brief lapse of judgement. We all enjoy racing that is why we are here, with that being said we need to remember others are here for the same reasons. The ARL way has and will always be clean and fun first! When we practice/race we all need to remember we are representing ARL and all the hard work that has been put in to make this one of the best up and coming leagues on GT Sport. These guidelines are not meant to single out a driver but are here to ensure that while racing hard all drivers understand what's expected of them. ARL has built a reputation of being a fun, competitive, clean series the following rules and guidelines are here to help drivers remember and learn the correct form of driving etiquette.
  • Clean racing is expected!
  • Racing hard and close will have some contact here and there, it is expected to be kept clean. Damage received or given most likely the other received damage, its expected to give way to the other car.
  • Drivers are not allowed to continuously Block.
  • Passing is expected to be done Cleanly and within track limits.
  • If contact is made that results in another car going off-track, the offending car is expected to concede track position to the other car involved in the incident no matter how many positions are lost. An Incident Report is expected to be filed.
  • Heavily damaged cars are expected to stay off the racing line until they get back to the pits for repairs.
  • Lapped cars are expected to hold their line, and let the faster drivers find a way around them.
  • Payback reactions will most likely result in a probationary period, or termination of their registration. This is something that will not be tolerated. Incident Reports can be filed, and will be looked at thoroughly.
  • A restart can be called on the start of a race if at least three cars receive damage in the first 3 turns of the race.
  • To call a Restart, (means you have damage) simply type RS in the chat, before the leaders complete their first lap.
  • If there is less than 3 that type RS then the race will continue. NOBODY IS TO SLOW UNTIL THE LOBBY HOST TYPES RESTART.
  • Only one Restart is permitted per race night.
  • At least two tires must be kept within track limits at all times, rumbles, or curbs are included in track boundaries.
  • If a car gains an advantage by going over track limits, drivers are expected to lift for one second to negate any potential advantage gained.

Oh my god, 7:30 Central time slot. First, I find out that another league I participate in has a slot I can work with, and now this? Oh man, I'm interested already.

Would like to but might not be able to do Friday night. Already committed to a few series on that day.

This series will be after the Vertex Series Finishes!
That makes it better, but I've also got Nova's Friday Night One Make Cup Challenge @ 9:15. It's not every week for me because I'm not participating in the Porsche GT3 or the SNAIL Invitational but there will be some weeks I cant make.

We are going to do our best to make everyone beable to make it to everything. I have Great respect for @damonc84 who plans to run his own series, as well as @llNovall . So hopefully we will beable to keep things from clashing.
Yea, I'd like to do this and Damon's prototype series if possible

Interested, need to double check to make sure nothing conflicts and would like to be able to see the bop/car list as it's locked fir me.

Somehow link sharing turned off. It should work now. Let me know.

This runs smack in the same time as a Super Trofeo Series I’m doing. Can’t join, thanks for the invite though.

ATTN: ALL ARL DRIVERS

We have spent the last couple weeks to try and figure out a way that makes confirming your attendance for any ARL event much easier. Before the members of the BOD would have to watch the thread post and make sure no one was missed. While most of the time this was the very well done, but along with anything that a human does there is errors that are made time to time.

With that being said we decided it was a good idea to go about and using a quick form that allows a driver to confirm for any one of our series. Which we will post a link to the form kinda like @Nick Cannella and @TEXAS jdc are doing right now.

With this change it falls onto the drivers laps for making sure that they are confirmed to race for that given night before the cut-off time frame which will be laid out for each series.

Every series has their own confirmation list that gets filled in automatically that will be posted in the first few posts of the series thread.

Here is the FORM that will be used until further notice. If a driver does not see their name they are to still post in the thread there intent to race. The form will automatically update every week or so with the new updated drivers list from all of our great series at ARL.

If you have any questions about anything that was mentioned above feel free to send me a PM and I will gladly talk you through any comments or concerns that you may have.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you on the track.

i’m definitely in this fits my time perfectly, when do you plan onn starting neutty?
I am going to run a few races The next couple of saturdays after Blancpain to test out the BOP. We could use all the help we can get to get the BOP right! Then once Vertex is over, @damonc84 and I are going to try to work a schedule that works with Super tofeo as well. So we are looking at March 1stish but this gives us enough time to TEST the settings and adjust accordingly. Tire and fuel wear will not exceed x3. If anything we may drop pending settings.
