I have to agree sorta. But no other console has had so many issues days after launch. I only agree that Microsoft rushed the system out the door.

MS's solution to scratched discs is a free copy of Perfect Dark Zero.

What he feel bad about paying $1000+ for one and now try to weasel him self out of it and having micro**** bail him out? Classic... Deal with it bud.

Haahaaa suckers! I suppose thats one bonus of being way over here in New Zealand.... by time the console gets here (in Feb06), all the flaws should be ironed out by then.

Pretty predictible though - I still havent heard many comments on how great the 360 is. I think id rather wait for the PS3 - I reckon they'll have a more impressive system. I can hear Sony laughing at MS from here! :yuck:

Sony's advantage is that they have decades of experience in building electronics.. Microsoft doesn't.

Hell, MS didn't even tell people about the external power supply.. that was a surprise. Granted, we don't know if PS3 will have one, but I'm sure they'll tell us about it before launch.

Man is this classic. I should have sued MS when they changed the DVD drives on the Xbox. I learned my lesson from that though, not to get a release system. Changes are to be done whenever something new comes out, but when things are rushed, that's when more trouble than expected arrives. I don't think I'll get a X360 until Summer next year or a price drop though. The system was rushed and now there's overheating issues, games are rushed(well I know NFS:MW had to be since people had it before the system, and it runs at an uber-impressive :dunce: 30FPS  ) and don't utilize the full power of the system. I think that if the system was released later next year these problems wouldn't have been major. Anyways, good things come to those who wait(most times) and I'll be waiting for that flawless X360 by the same time(maybe) next year.

Perhaps that would explain why my Xbox that I've had since day 1 has had zero problems, even after taking it apart and chipping it. Not a big deal, really.

All electronics (heck, even all products) have their own problems. The PS2 had them, the Xbox had them, the PSP had them, and now the Xbox 360 is having them. And I can GUARANTEE you the PS3 will have them.

Let it go my friend, let them say what they will. Lets just enjoy our 360s. 👍
Do you have a gamertag?

Its the severity of the peoblem. the past wont fix the present or future and crashing is worse than any previous console. MS admitted on G4 that there are some faulty systems. And ALL EA games were rushed just like all ea games for psp(low buget garbage for most games).

I knew I should have sued PS2 when my first and 2nd ones didnt work. :ouch:
J/K its just an electronic device. Out of millions released, there are going to be some with problems just like everything else in life.

Its a new system and for sure there are going to be some teething problems, the guy has a point, but sueing people isnt the way. But i just heard that my local Game store is getting a new batch of 360's in and that they are going to sell them for £800 with five games, this is just silly. Maybe MS should have waited and launched along side Sony and Nintendo.

Did he even try to take it back before sueing them?

This is interesting. I didn't really see the 360 as being rushed. Would this improve the chances of the PS3 killing the 360? I think not.

And I can't believe I'm hearing that NFS:MW is running at only 30FPS!

Didn't the Ps2 have a few terminal problems on launch too? oh well.....schiet happens right?

I dont recall but after about a year you would get DRE. I'd like to see the reaction(to saying "schiet happens") to the guy who stood in line for hours and paid $600 for an unavoidable bundle just to have bad things go worng.

Believe it or not, believe it.

EA is lazy now. No online on PS2 for MW and it runs at 30FPS on the X360 which is unacceptable. If I was in charge of the game's production I would've told them to start over again and make it run at 60 FPS(on the 360). There has to be some kind of quality control for 360 games that if they don't run at 60FPS, then they won't hit the shelves. That'll put lazy @** companies who rushed they're games in check.

I waited inline for my Ps2 and my first crapped out within 6-7 months.
Second one lasted about a year..

slimline..I don't know if it still works..
I don't play it

It's also on BBC News . Thing is it's bad publicity. Some say any news is good news, particularly with regards to a new product. But news about the products flaws is not good news.
It doesn't put me off but it may others.

Anyway, I doubt he'll win but it'll be interesting to see some facts emerge, if they do at all.

I just remembered sony's class action lawsuit over DRE. sony settled i think MS "could" do the same if they get large enough complaints. But sony's was years after the release not days.

and remember the one over dualshock pro 2 looking a lot like another controller? i dont remember much else about it

:scared: I've still on my first one with no problems cept for an occasional disc read error. :knock on wood:

Well....

I've never had the displeasure of owning an xbox, and don't plan on wasting cash on a 360 either.

I'll just wait for the PS3. My PS2 can cut it 'til then.

And as for the loser suing MS -- get over it. Shtuff happens and everyone deals with it. I don't care how much he paid for one....if he wants one so bad, then he should just pay for a new one.

Some people...
