Gated shifter and such works but the clutch simulation is just as lazy as in GTR 2 :(
There is something wrong with the controls in Shift as well in general. So I think it´s wrong to blame the different force feedback wheels since they all is affected it seems.

it´s slightly mad dog that somehow failed :(

Going to try DIRT 2 later today. Does the wheel work on the demo as well?

I doubt it since the 360 controller for PC is the wired one.

No, there is a wireless adapter for the PC that allows you to use the any of the 360 wireless controllers (wheel, guitar, drums, gamepad...). I don't think MS is even making the wired controllers anymore. They sell the wireless controller with adapter bundled for the PC now.

Yes, it does :)

Excellent. :)

Ive updated my GT3RS PS3 games compatibility list.
The BIG question is will GT5 be supported?

Ref X360 Wheel on PC
I believe the X360 Wheel doesnt support FFB on PC (Vista)
Not sure about Windows 7 though...

Quick question. I was trying to use the h-pattern shifter on GT5P w/clutch. I think the shifter needs to be recalibrated though, as the shift pattern is all screwed up. Reverse on the h-patter is 3rd gear in game and 3rd and 5th gear on the h-pattern are both 5th gear in game. How do I fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hey TA 👍

Luckily, I haven't had this problem with GT5P or Shift so far, but here is a post from earlier in this thread that describes what to do to recalibrate the gears https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3410119&postcount=470

I ordered from Fanatec, and made the payment online. I did get a order confirmation., but no confirmation about my payment? I think it's normal but just checking....

I bought an Turbo S wheel pure edition. Going to hook up my G25 pedals.
The delivery says November, any chance it will come early?

Fanatec guy, in couple of years, we want Mercedes wheels! HAHA
Comon, show us the best of German Engineering!

We can use the Clubsport and Porsche shifter, just make the wheel look like this :D

One question, Once I buy FM3, I wanna order the fallowing month the Turbo S pure edition with the PS3 USB key. Will you guys have it in stock?

I cannot get Clubsport pedals to vibrate in XP.
I did succeed in Vista64 though.
In XP when asked to enter rFactor location I do, and it does not remember it.
It continues to say, rFactor (Unavailable).
Thomas, WHY? HELP!
* I really need to now use XP since building a shift light software only runs in Xp.
** Has anyone ever got the pedals to vibrate in XP?
*** Yes I am running PW32 drivers.
**** Using in rFactor "C:\Program Files\rFactor"

drivers are still not perfect -_-. when i restart my pc, my settings are not remembered by the wheel. i have to go into the wheel properties and change something to refresh the wheel.

The wheel isn´t working with the dirt 2 demo. No matter how I juggle with the perfect timing to activate the PS 3 compability mode will it recognize my pedals.

I have 2 installs, one at C:\Programfiles\rFactor
and one at D:\rFactor
Both are copies, and they do run.
Are you suggesting an issue with being copied?
* I also tried to disable one install by adding an X in front of the folder name...XrFactor, etc.
In Vista64, the CSP menu automatically by default wanted to see rFactor in C:\Programfiles(x86)\rFactor, and by installing it there (via copying I must mention), it did work. But in XP, no dice.

The driver has problems to detect rFactor if it is not installed properly and if there are multiple installations.

Try to install rFactor the normal way.

Not sure what problem you have but we tested it and it works fine.

At what exact moment do you activate the compability mode? You have been running with the last system update for PS 3 as well?

It detects the wheel fine and I get force feedback. Just like GT 5 Prologue when you don´t activate the compability mode to on the track.

edit: Did another attempt today and after 3 restarts of the PS 3 it somehow detected the wheel better. I noticed it wanted to get the button configuration wrong. X being the upper right instead of the lower right. But doesn´t explain why the pedals couldn´t be detectable though?

I never did figure out how to/why XP and the Clubsport Pedals FFB Brake Vibration does not work correctly from the CSP Menu.
I did however get my shiftlight working in Vista 64 so I will be using my CSP's in Vista64 where they do work great and the FFB also works.

* I will just assume at this point that CSP menu and XP do not work.

UPDATE 3 "
We planned to start the final assembly today but we had to postpone it due to bad components. We are now getting new components which should take just a few days. I hope we can start at the end of the week. "

Sometimes we question chinese build quality and sometimes we are right. Hope they get this new problem sorted.

That's not good news. It's not working out very smooth at Fanatec!
Thomas looks like a nice guy, I bet it will all work out eventually.

Quality is the most important thing, no need to rush things. I'd rather wait a bit longer.

I don't mind waiting as long as I get a quality product, rushed products usually are bad business. I bought this product from Fanatec knowing it would take some time to be ready.

Maybe someone can help me with my memory. I was looking at pictures of the 911 turbo s wheel, and noticed that it had the little buttons on the back to shift with instead of paddles. Is it just me or did fanatec announce that they were going to put metal paddles in the buttons place.

The buttons would really suck after using the g25's metal paddle shifters which are very nice. It does seem though I remembered fanatec saying they were switching this, but I just can't remember for sure. I looked on their site and they still had the same pictures with the little black buttons behind the wheel.

Anyway, if anyone can let me know that would be great.

I read somewhere that they had put those metal paddles in a wheel but it didn't work as expected so they reverted to the buttons....I just don't know where I read that, as I regularly follow thomas blog, this thread and any other threads that refer to fanatec turbo s wheel

If they indead choose higher quality buttons more like on the old 911 turbo it´s an upgrade. Though you can improve over that as well. I do agree the G25 shifter paddles are nice as the old momo force paddles but the ones shipped with GT 3 RS I wouldn´t miss. And thus I don´t run with them they get in the way. Should need some other really clever design for me to buy some add ons.

However if the button is as mushy as on the RS I would be disappointed.

I just found on the fanatec site that it says "Includes Clubsport paddle shifters made of stainless steel" so it sounds like it's how I'm wanting it.
