nice vids. Though I think people was interested if you can plug the sequential and H-shifter in both at the same time to use one as ebrake for example and the other as shifter :)

It doesn´t work on the previous wheels but that doesn´t mean it´s confirmed they haven´t developed such a function for the Turbo S. I don´t expect it though but it would indead be nice. If you have the clubsport table clamp you could attach bars to each side and would be another incentive to get customers to buy more add ons for the wheel I suppose :)

btw now that the wheel won´t arrive at the launch of Forza 3 when will we receive our copy of the game? We who preordered early?

Here's Part 2

Hopefully part 3 tomorrow

I got my beta wheel today, and set it up with the playseat . The fanatec shifter adapter for the rennsport cockpit works for mounting to the playseat. You just have to drill 2 holes in the G25 adapter to get it to work. It's as stable as the G25 shifter is with that setup.

I'll post some pics so everyone knows what the adapter looks like, and maybe give a short review later on. I really want to get some more time with it before I say to much about it.

My first impressions are that it works flawlessly with the 360, and ps3 so far. I also can't stop noticing how much smoother and more quite the fanatec wheel is compared to the G25. More info to come later tonight.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing eh? If only I'd foreseen that the Pure would spawn a USB PC/PS3 connection back when it was £160 delivered (even at the highest pre order price of €199).

The weakness of the Pound>Euro coupled with the price rise is an increase of £60 to £220. It doesn't really seem like an entry level wheel any more :ouch:

Do you have the G25 pedal adapter bevo?

Here's another review showing how the clutch pedal works in FM3.

Yes it came with the adapter. Actually I haven't tried out the fanatec pedals yet, I've only used the g25 pedals with it so far. I have to drill holes to mount the fanatec pedals and sisn't want ot take the time to do it. Tomorrow I'll probably give them a try.
So far I love the wheel, it's worked perfect with every console game I've tried so far. It actually made a huge difference with race pro. I couldn't even play it with the M$ wheel because of the huge center deadzone, but the 911 wheel works great with it.

I'm still trying to get a little more time in with it before I give a review, but so far I'm really impressed. If anyone has any questions at all, feel free to ask. I've got it set up with a playseat, andif you want ot do the same, you might want to get the fanatec wheel stand shifter adapter, and the 2.5 meter cable. The adapter lets you hook your shifter up to the g25 playseat adapter. You have to drill 2 holes, but it's no big deal, and very easy to do. I'll put up pictures when I get everything I can think of figured out.

changed the preset from 360 to 270?. Reviewer hinted something about limitless that would be very welcome surely. The more control the better and you have the 5 presets so you can save 5 preset angles anyway.

Would have hoped it would go lower then 210 though.

Does users of this new Fanatec wheel know if it will bolt or clamp on to a Wheelstand Pro? If not what Kind adjustments would I need to do or whats in the way from it working? If I managed to get the MS wheel on there with out an offical adapter, I think I can pull off another retro fit.

Thanks

Yes I am waiting to see if this works with the Wheelstand Pro also.

Yes The WSP have pre drilled holes for Fanatec wheels.
I can confirm this for both GT3RS and Turbo S

Ive got upcoming reviews that will compare both stands with the following wheels. Both are great products tbh.

didn't mean to put this post here, was experimenting and hit post instead of preview. Is there a way I can delete posts?

Thank you very much. I went ahead last night and dropped the cash on the 911 S. I really wanted a G27, but logic told me that if I want a good wheel for both Forza and GT5, that this was the way to go. I want to tank every early bird that got one and their reviews.

*Edit also see you put a filler board on the MS pedals on the WSP. What material did you use and how do you have it bolted down there.

Thanks for the info, as I have to deal with the MS wheel till the Fanatec arrives.
Thanks again.

Glad if I was some help, if you contact the WSP company I believe that component/part is available with their stands. It comes with a mounting late and fixing bolt/nut to help secure the pedals and filling in the usual hole. Your going to love the Turbo S, on early admiration/testing Id say it is the best wheel I have and likely to become a favourite amongst the community.

Don´t forget you may have to pay import taxes if you are unlucky as well! So it may be 150$ plus if you like in sweden have 25 % import taxes plus some extra fees. You got say the clubsport edition for 500$ or what it´s 150$ plus more then 125$.

Hmm... are the non express shipping orders coming direct from China too, or are they going via way of Germany?

Because if they're coming from Germany I have no problem, but if they're coming from China I'm going to get screwed, HARD. It would send an already ludicrous price into the stratosphere.

the non express is from what I heard coming from Fanatec so they will ship from Germany for european orders and US for US orders to avoid this I do believe. My orders have always been shipped from Germany anyway.

I got my gt3rs wheel yesterday. Everything looked alright, except the Porsche badge wasn't exactly as it should be. It is sticking out and wobbling. Today, after about an hour of playing, my wheel isn't working anymore. When I'm powering it on, it turns itself completely left and stays there, then I just turn it to center and calibrate it as it is said in the manual. After that, when I try to turn the wheel it doesn't return to center, but stays offcentred to the right. The more I turn the wheel, the more offcentred it gets. In the end, I can turn the wheel only 90 degrees to the right and 810 to the left.

You can remove the badge. Maybe it´s just one of the clips that isn´t tightened on it? Doesn´t sound that good with the calibration issues. Do you have a second PC to confirm it?

Tried uninstalling and installing the 1.0 drivers perhaps?
