We could do that but I am not sure how popular this feature will be. It also blows up the Tuning menu. I suggest to repair your G25 pedals or get it replaced

Ive noticed the G25 pedals sometmes do this on my own setup too.
For me sometimes the brakes stick at about 5% you can see the red indicator on GT5P. Even removing your foot completely they stick at this 5% and the only way to get it to release is to give the pedals a tap.

Maybe it is only a small issue for some of us but my G25 pedals are not faulty as it doesnt do this when using the G25 wheel only when using the G25 adapter for the PWTS.
Has anyone else had the same problem or is it quite isolated?

I have the same thing happen to me. Not all the time, just some of the time. Like you say only way to release it is to press the pedal fully, which is annoying.

My new wheel is about to arrive!!! It says out for delivery... I will most likely be making a video review on several products I have purchased relating to sim-racing. So excited!!

Hey where can people get that new FFB plugin for rfactor(to support fanatec wheels) which was mentioned in inside simracing episode=

It's a DLL bundled with the Fanatec driver. You drop it in the rFactor plugins folder. You don't want it. It seems to cause a mess of vibration and wheel shaking. I think you're better off with stock FFB or RealFeel.

No i do not mean that. This was fan made and adds support for wheels that do not have mechanical deadzone to some game(maybe rfactor). They even said in that episode that g27 should not try this but works fine with fanatec as it should. I have now very slow internet and i can to browse ISR episode easily.

Interesting. I did some browsing of the ISR videos and couldn't find the reference. I have used Real Feel for rFactor and Real Mod for NFS: Shift, and those worked well with the Fanatec, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Question:

Is the firmware and PCB of the new Carrera wheel going to be of the same quality as the GT3RS/Turbo/Turbo S?

Yes, the Firmware will have all the features of the latest UE 669 update.

Just got my PWTS and set it all up and played a little Forza 3, amazing!!!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to settings for the wheel for forza, I am not sure what turning radius and all that stuff.

FFB full, abs to about 87%(when wheels lock up in forza) and i dont like engine vibration so i set that to zero. 900 degree steering angle works ok. I would also set up drift mode to some setting like 2 to allow faster moves. Deadzone is not need(UE firmware only)

Don't forget that you need to start the console by pressing the on/off button on the console and not the wheel. Otherwise the game does not detect the 900° mode.

Did someone mention a new wheel preview/review was for happening around here recently? :)

I was a bit premature (where have I heard that before? :dunce:).

The review will be posted at a later, unspecified, date.

Sorry to get you all worked up. When we get closer to production, I'll post a link to the full review.

You're starting to sound like KY (GT5). :p

Ahhh okay man yeah I understand...
I take it then the review is about 90% complete then :sly:

Yep, I could release it at any time.

However, due to production issues we've had to delay the release until a later date. Probably Q3. :sly:

I got my PWTS over the weekend and love it so far... but I seem to be having a problem calibrating the RF dongle, I updated the firmware on the dongle and wheel but I cannot get them to sync up. Any help is welcome.. My main problem is I cannot get just 1 light to blink for sync mode on the dongle.

On PS3? I read previously in this thread that someone had a similar problem and they plugged the wheel in with USB first and after that it worked with the dongle.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's "613". Unfortunately the GT3RS's FW cannot be updated. Only the Turbo, Turbo S, and the upcoming Carrera can be flashed with FW updates.

Come on Thomas, where's the Clubsport Paddles? They look great, wanna see if they perform as well.

They perform very well. A huge improvement over the standard "buttons". I will post a review shortly.
