Xbox me no like
Id really like to see a tuned version of the stang and the STI. Why the STI didnt get a tuned version and the EVO did I have no idea.

we will have to wait untill fall when they release there next big update to find out, but is possible that they could. i just don't know if that is in there schedule for the updates to the game.

A tuned Mutang would be nice. A tuned GT-R would be pointless, because it already has downforce :odd: Unless PD wanted to throw more crap in our faces and pretend the GT-R could get so mad tyte better yo. I'm confused why the new Civic Type R didn't make it and the Integra did.

they toss in either a tuned stang or STI and the ring I'll wet myself.

I doubt you'll see a car update at all unless they want to see how something flies with the public. Tracks are a huge maybe but I doubt that as well. I think we will see various features added though. Think of it as we all sort of bought into a beta testing ring.

Porsches & the Nordschlife are all I want. Just one 911 and the full 'ring... All I want and need!

Probably because in Japan and the States (clearly big markets for Gran Turismo) the Integra is the more well-known car. The hatchback Type-R is only sold in Europe and Australasia as far as I'm aware. And in Europe hot hatches don't really sell outside the UK.

I'm more confused as to why Honda refused to sell the Integra in the UK market. Probably would have taken sales away from the Civic.

I would also like to see a tuned version of the Mustang as it handles very predictably. I plan to try it online this weekend. I got to #3 in the Standard World Records in the Mustang at Suzuka. (Not sure if it still stands as I have been playing GTAIV a lot.) However, without the ability to tune it for hotlapping, that long 5th gear really slows the lap times.

I hope they eventually include a "Fox body" Mustang. (GT/LX/don't care!!!) The 5.0 is an American icon.

I am sick of seeing GT include multiple versions of the Civic, Skyline, Evo, etc. It's not that I have anything against those cars, it's just that I really want to virtually race the car I drive to work every day!!! I would be in heaven. The IROC Camaro would be another good addition as well. Guess I'll keep dreamin' for now.

Yeah an old 5.0L (302ci) windsor would be good,a `85HO carby and a early `90`s EFI version would be cool. We also had 5.0L here in Aust.

Fairly ironic that this car hasn't made it into any GT, or really, much of any video games at all (only one I've ever seen a Fox-body in was the very awful PS2 game Ford Mustang Racing); I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say it probably holds the largest aftermarket of any make and model car ever. For such a popular vehicle it certainly is under-represented in the digital world.

But really, any new cars would be nice. The variety in GT5P is great but it is sure to become stale in the long months before GT5 itself.

10-4 on the foxbody I got a 91. If they do put it in and you cant put a turbo on it ill be pissed, lol mines a 5.0 and its got a turbo :)

That's silly. And I thought the Civic was very well known in Japan. Spoon Civic anyone? Everyone knows Civics more and may even like them more, they're very common. Plus it was just voted for best interior and exterior design of the year I believe. Still very strange it didn't make it if you ask me.

Holden Commodore, or even better, the world wide aftermarket for the LS1 has got to easily be the largest combined.

Dang!!! Don't know how to embed it!!! If any Moderators could fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a quick YouTube link of some Fox-bodies on the track.

a tuned GT-R to take on the F1 car would be nice:)

Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear. Of course the Civic itself is very well known in Japan and the States, naturally, but they don't sell a Type R Civic in the States at all, the highest performing model there is something like the Civic Coupe Si (which admittedly is a very nice looking car), but the Integra is a very popular performance car, albeit the Acura version.

In Japan, the Type R Civic is a four door saloon and not the three door hatch version that you get in Europe, and I assume, Australia. In this respect, more of the world audience know about the Integra Type R. Not to mention that both new Civic Rs came out whilst Polyphony was developing Prologue, so they may have been a little too new to include in the game given that it takes so long to model a car.

Hope that makes things clearer 👍

Yeah I got some of there stuff those maximum motorsports guys know there stuff. If you go to there site and watch that race he gets spun in the first turn and passes something like 5 cars in the first lap then goes on to finish 3rd, dude can drive. Definatly dont think the F body cars have the stangs beat in the aftermarket, but even if they did they dont now because we got atleast one generation on them now before the camero comes back. They had a 90 (i think) fierbird in GT4 throw in a 90 foxbody.

Mark my words:

New cars will only come as a brand/marketing tie in like how the new Nissan Sentra (and 07 350Z, Altima) was a free downloadable update.

GT5 Prologue already feels like a Nissan commercial as the display on the new GT-R was designed with feedback from the Gran Turismo people. I think in return they made the GT-R a little too good.
