Ive sent a email to the local police department about
this. But I think it would be better if i just spoke to one.

My guess is that you once you are in the police force, you can progress and get 'promoted' in a sense to a SWAT officer.

But I don't know how the police system works...

My guess is that.. being in the S.W.A.T team requries top notch fitness levels, good logic skills(to plan entries effectively), someone that's calm, someone that is "SMART", but can still mix it up if they come too close.

That's all i can think of...
