I don't think its going to be the GTR 'Best Asian Import' winner (I'm guessing). Because it will be nothing really new, unless its a RWD.

And definitely not the Lutz '57 Chevy BelAir 'Best Hot Rod' winner (guessing again). Because we don't have a drag track, and it will be the only real drag car in the game.

Also, not the Camaro 'Best Domestic Automobile' winner (guessing). We already have a couple.

The same with the golf HPA. We already have two.

My best guess it's going to be that Orange pickup for 'Best Truck or SUV'.

What make is the truck ? ... old ? New ?

I strongly doubt a Truck will win. As far as I can tell, the Trucks never get Kaz's attention.

If the Bel Air gets chosen, somehow, I don't see us getting a legit drag-strip out of it.

Aren't we still waiting on past winners anyways ?

Love how no matter which car wins, people will still get pissed off

Favorite ones I already predict:

The Camaro: "but we already have too many Camaros"
The Bel Air: "PD needs to get better cars!!"
The GT-R: "This bull 🤬 Not Another GT-R "

I'll prepare some nachos with cheese before the Anti-Gtr Brigade arrives...Dis gon B gud'

EDIT: @AJHG1000 actualy that car just won the Gt Sema Awards

I'm still pulling for the Golf, depending on what all the truck is... because we need a truck.

I guess they had to be a liltle more specific instead of saying just an award.

I would love to see the Bel-Air win.

"We'd like to congratulate @greddyracing for winning a Gran Turismo award today!"

"a Gran Turismo Award". Not The.

It's not 8:00pm yet in Vegas.

There is more then 1 Gran Turismo award. It shows up at Pebble Beach as well.

Since when were there more than one Gran Turismo award for SEMA.

The GT Awards partners with automotive tastemakers and leading journalists to find the very best exhibiting cars at the SEMA Show based on five categories.

One vehicle from the five category winners will be considered for the Best in Show Award, which will be selected by famed Gran Turismo creator, Kazunori Yamauchi. In addition to the ultimate honors, the winning car will have the extraordinary opportunity to become a playable vehicle in a future Gran Turismo® game.

The winning autos will be revealed at the GT Awards on Nov. 5, 2014 at Drai’s Nightclub inside the Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas. The list of the five categories and judges:
  • Best Truck or SUV – Judge: Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, off-road racer
  • Best Domestic Automobile – Judge: Motor Trend magazine
  • Best Hot Rod – Judge: Hot Rod magazine
  • Best European Import – Judge: Magnus Walker, Porsche Restorer
  • Best Asian Import – Judge: Troy Sumitomo, auto designer and Five Axis founder
Since this ^^^

And with that, this is the reaction we will get:

So yeah, called it. Damn it, I should've bet money on it. Definately doing it next year though.

Let the reactions come.

The tears shall be delicious.
