Any Non-Dupers out there?

That seems a little rich Boshuter. There's plenty of threads telling people how to dupe. It would be hypocritical not to let those of us who don't dupe have one too.

Please, take the argument elsewhere before this thread too is locked. Or better still, realise those threads were locked for a reason and let this post simply serve as a register.
 
I'ed never even heard of duping until I registered on here, and I still don't understand it lol. All my cars and XP have been through having to race the same races time & again. It's taken a long time and a lot of races, but that's half the fun.
 
I used to be a non-duper. I am at level 30 A-Spec and 31 B-Spec. Had 14mil until I started buying up the UCD like no ones business. Before I started duping I had close to 300 cars.

Just wondering if anyone else is out there like me, just to enjoy the ride?

I don't dupe or trade, simply because i love the thrill of finding new cars, earning them the traditional way.

I don't however hold a grudge or mind if other people dupe. I race with the same people all the time that are hardcore dupers (some of them) I just don't feel the need.


So all you non-dupers out there, what's your specs?

No dupes since i can't go online and even than i won't do it.

I've never duped because I just think it's pointless to own more than 1 of the same car. As someone who used to play mmo's I understand the value of an active in game trade value system and all the dupers have ruined that possibility.

I will admit though, the first week I got the game I birthday glitched myself a 190 E Evo II Touring Car; and I'm glad I did. After 2 months of playing I still haven't seen it pop up in the UCD.

Duper senselessly duplicate the same car over and over? I thought they dup because they want to save 5 million on a used car or don't want to lose the expensive car after trade. Boy, was I wrong.

There are value in these cars? I thought there's a strictly no cash policy here. I'd say more power to the dupers. Those eBay listings who take advantage of people must die!!!
 
i only used the glitch to get the 20mil cars, but i haven't since(early dec), kinda feel bad for doing it cuz i didn't think i'd be able to hit 20mil ever, but just hit it yesterday lol, so i don't do that anymore and i like getting cars the old fashion way now...
 
No duping here... if it the game was designed with duping mind, they would just have a "Dupe Me Now" button in your garage.

I don't really see the point. Are people so desperate to go the easy way to get cars? I mean come how hard is it just to play a game and win stuff(virtual stuff anyway). I mean how bad is when people can't be satisfied din their free time play a game that they have to cheat to enjoy themselves.

I've been playing the game the way it was meant to be played :D

No duping. A-spec 31, B-spec 38. 650 cars. I have done some trades for cars (1 for 1), and a fair amount of b-spec grinding (for cash and leveling to the endurance levels). Once I hit b-spec level 40, I won't grind for XP anymore (I don't grind A-spec at all). I've earned one X2010, and have traded some rare cars in my garage for a few more (different colours) for grinding purposes.

Everyone will play how they want to play. I don't think less of anyone for duping, as long as it doesn't affect others.

Polphony Digital has just converted me to duping, simply because of the poor pay outs for the latest Seasonal Events, let me explain.

I only like the online racing in GT5 & premium cars, I'm bored of the offline game after completing Beginners, Intermediate & pro. I've never grinded once & refuse to play the same tepid events over & over just to unlock content that I've already paid for. The seasonal events, up till now, were a good way for me to afford what I wanted without enduring the mind numbing tedium of offline events.

So, when I finally run out of money & need to buy more cars, I have no other choice than to start duplicating exepnsive cars, selling them & buying what I actually want, way to go PD!

Have never duped. Doesn't seem right.

I intend to play this game for a long time. Am in no rush to have everything.

Level 32 A and B Spec.
 
At last a thread that shows that there are some faithful old-skool gamers these days who still enjoy the game like the old days. :)

I never duped, never cheated and i won all gold(except the 2 24 hours enduros) with practice and patience.
Feels so good earning a car with your sweat, i'm really proud of my Enzo, F2010, all three X2010 and my 787B, these are my gems. :)

Btw, i'm at: 36 A-Spec and 29 B-Spec.
