I'm Polish in the "my family comes from Poland" sense, but its only 15% of me. Although I have to admit that it isn't always on my list of "my family comes from X" stuff.

That being said, everyone is either Polish or German here in Michigan.

Dzien dobry, jak sie masz?

I couldn't get the accented letters on this comuter. I'm not Polish but I have a mate who is.

Which bit of you? Ears? Nose? Mouth? Foot?

Kinda O/T, but is 'jak sie masz' relevant to Borat's lingo when he says "Jagshemash"? I just sounded really similar in my head.

Oh, and I'm not Polish, but I like Behemoth and Azarath. :p

My mom's side of the family is very Polish, he maiden name was Slabinski. All I know is they came over here and settled in Wilkes-Berrie, Pennsylvania during World War I.

I'd assume they mean the same thing. "Dzien dobre, jak sie masz? is "good morning, how are you?". A few countries have similar sounding words such as "jak se mate?" is how are you in Czech.

I don't believe it. Only me... I'll wait for others Polish. :P

Say "stół z powyłamywanymi nogami" or "chrząszcz brzmi w trzcinie" :D

Don't worry, there are plenty of Dutch, Belgians and Germans around. We're all neighbors, I'm sure we can get along...

Yep, another pollack here; though I am a mutt, with some Irish and German, I am mostly polish. (geez and I even admit it)

Dayton is nothing but Dutch, Germans, and Poles. My family is German and my father had many authentic German, Dutch, and Polish friends.

I'm Latvian, so I associate with the Eastern Europeans in the sense that if we get knocked out of the hockey tournaments, then I cheer for the Eastern-most countries, moving westward as they slowly get knocked out.

Say, Brad, is there anywhere you don't come from?

I'm not Polish, but there are plenty where I work, and thousands where I live!

I had to laugh recently, because I was talking with my dad about work, and he said (in his distinctive Jamaican accent) 'Boy, don't leave your job'. I replied 'Why is that dad?' He said (without missing a beat) 'The country is full of Polish, they'll steal your job from under you!' Of course I laughed. My dad an immigrant himself, complaining about immigrants!

I've actually got a lot of respect for the Polish people. They are friendly and nice people, and very hard workers. It takes a lot of courage to come to a foreign country looking to start a new life, so any Polish guy or gal has my respect. 👍

Besides that, the modern history of our country (the great UK) is tied closely to that of Poland's. Almost 70 years ago we stood alone and pledged our allegiance to Poland as Germany invaded their country. Polish soldiers were some of our most steadfast and loyal allies during that war, and so they were again when we (rightly or wrongly) invaded Iraq. A walk through an large graveyard will show you how far back our ties with Poland really go. I've got a lot of respect for the Polish people. 👍

I appreciate your respect for the Polish people :)
wing_0 więc jest nas już dwóch, no i PLmatt, który się jeszcze nie wypowiedział :D

Does that say "there is just 2 of us here, well PLmatt too, but he hasn't replied."

I'm Ukrainian, but I can almost fully understand what you guys are saying.

Are you part Italian?

Not in any significant amount, no.

The list:
- Dutch
- British (English and Welsh)
- German
- French
- Polish
- Naitive American

The "big ones" if you will... Hooray Ango-Saxon/Northern Europeans!

I'm ~80% German and ~10% Polish. I'm at war with myself. And...*cough* Welsh for the rest. :dopey:

I'm 100% Mancunian, though my accent doesn't match beyond a the odd word. Both my parents are English, family on my mums side is Irish once you go beyond my great grandparents. On my dads side they're Geordies, and before that they were Scotts and before that Norwegian and Danish (that's the nationality not the pasty).

Perfect Balance you, you... you spy :D

I think there is a method to outmanouver such a spy... I think we should use the secret weapon... gwara! :D Though we'll have to decide which region's gwara we'll use. In my region there is none.

I'm Polish. I was born in Bialystok Poland, but I moved here when I was 2. I've been living here for about 15 years now. :)

trza tak nawijać, żeby kolo nie skapował o czym gatka :P
