30 hours driving time +
i enjoyed GT6 greatly.

You wanna know what ripped of is go buy Forza5 like i did and youll know.
80$ Sedition, La ferrari 9.99 car pack or a 49.99 car pass. Ohh god so how much extra will be track packs ?

Oh, you mean like when GT5 came out and the fully adjustable transmission didn't do anything remotely like its name suggested, and they fixed it three months later.
And that compare to not being able to earn any credits or properly steer your car how exactly?

Also even thought the trans did not allow you to adjust the gear it did do a decent job of spreading the gears when you changed the top speed slider whereas in FM3 and 4 the trans is messed up in lots of cars and they never have fixed it making many cars totally uncompetitive.

Oh, you mean like when PD fixed the clutch in GT5.
And what exactly is the problem with the clutch in GT5? Do you mean that if you do not do it just right you get stuck in neutral kinda like what happens when you blow a shift in a real car? Or maybe you think it should be like the totally unrealistic clutch in Forza that allows your car to be faster simply by using it and how you can shift every car without ever lifting off the throttle. Did they fix that in FM?

Anyway, If you would prefer Forza there is a shinny new version out there complete with 200 cars and 14 tracks for only a bit over $1000 I'm sure it would be more worth the money than $60 for a GT game that works with your existing hardware and has tons more content.

You think the clutch in GT5/GT6 is good? Wow, definitely a first. And I would like to know what kind of cars have a clutch that behaves like the one in GT. Because my Legacy doesn't get stuck in neutral just because I didn't press the clutch all the way in.

I did not say it was good, Honestly I have not used it in GT6 but I have read several complaints about people getting into neutral when they have messed up the shift. This will happen in a real car when you miss the shift, in most cases it just requires you to press in the clutch and try to shift into the gear again. In extreme cases it can require some repair work to get it out of neutral. Is there another issue with it in GT?

Read my edited post.

Hmm.. Well I have did a little drag racing in the past using a manual clutch and a gated 4 speed and if the clutch did not go down far enough and the timing was not right then it would not go into the next gear, 2nd to 3rd being the most likely shift to bite you.

I'm not saying that the clutch works exactly as it should in GT but in real life you may/will get stuck in neutral when you blow a shift. This also is something that effects very few people as it is a non factor for controller users, and wheel users who either do not have a clutch pedal and gated shifter and those who prefer to use sequential or paddle shifters.

I forgot that it's not just the clutch that you have to worry about. In GT, if you do not have the clutch completely pushed in and your foot completely off of the accelerator before changing gears, the game will force you into neutral. That definitely isn't realistic.

And if you're going to call your game a sim, it's important to get these things right, regardless of how many people use the clutch.

Advertisement is manipulative by nature, no matter how smart, clever and entertaining it can be. People should always remain aware of it and make their buying decisions on better knowledge of the product they purchase instead of propaganda. Don't blame a company for putting the light on the shinier facet of their stuff.

In the end, it's not like PD tried to hide anything, on the contrary, they made things quite clear; resulting in people here complaining about how unfinished the game was weeks before it even released.

I agree, I knew GT6 probably wasn't going to be a good idea of day 1 purchase, the issue is that PD advertise future selling points that are with the game. They know that people are like me and other that pay attention and have a set idea of what we want if were going to buy the game. So all I'm saying is in general people have issues paying attention and seeing through the hype or advertisement and hopefully this will make it to where those types can't do this in the future.

Just like the whole thing with people suing fast food groups due to their food or other products for various reasons even though knowing what they're getting before buying.

Now they dropped price to 39,99 dollars. LOL.

If they want more people to buy GT6 they should improve AI and add some options for car class organization. As it stands I don't even want GT6 for free, it's not a matter of money PD, fix your damn game than you can ask me full price.

Uhh. Wasn't it going on sale? No need to laugh, some games are doing it too aren't they?
Come on. The last big game on PS3 and 3 weeks after release, just 1 day after christmas, it gets a 30% discount?
Something tells me the game should've launched at $40 but they knew holiday rush would help with staying full price.

There you have it folks, GT6 is not a full game and was meant to sell for $40 all along. ;):sly::rolleyes:

There is rarely a game that is worth 60 bucks to me these days.

LOLZ we are all crazy internet maniacs!
Ok back to the point, I rather pay 60 bucks for a full game than [insert random price here] for something where I cannot make good use of the content because of developers sadism. Just fix AI and give us more options. Cars and tracks do looks good.

Boxing day sales happen every year.

There you have it folks, quoted post is lacking content which may appear as DLC at a later date

I'm thoroughly enjoying GT6 and I thought it was worth every quid I spent on it. :)
You also enjoy turtle racing?

Yep, those are totally comparable. :D

Anyway, gonna rip some new CDs on sale yesterday, some new releases on sale, to add to my GT6 replay list.

That is the AI update promised by PD that will come to a later date.
I enjoy taking pictures, lapping in all sorts of cars, and the occasional online race which is plagued by idiots.
Taking pictures is great, time trials are awesome but for the life of me I can't stand with something where I can't have an adrenaline rush, in one word, racing.

Push a GTR at it's hardest around the ring, you'll be shaking ;)

For my racing fix, I breeze through the A.I. for completion purposes, and then take to the online racing in the GRC here on the GTPlanets, or the occasional touring cars or just casual racing and pissing people off.

Yeah it's all great (not the GTR :P) but we come up with the "if AI sucks go online" argument. GT6 can't rely only on online.

Not sure it was mentioned or not. I'm not reading 8 pages when I can just add a post. LoL

So on freezing and other issues. Try this. Back up your game save on a thumb drive.

Delete the game data file. Reset PS3. Now load Gt6 and let it update. Once updated. Quit and copy game save over.

This solved freezing issues I had. As well some other quirky online issues.

Maybe I got lucky. However it is exactly what I did and it solved some issues. Mainly the TT in single player wouldn't work at all. So I was left trying something. This solved that and freezing issues fr before.

Oh yes I feel totaly ripped off, I mean they only gave us over 100 new cars, cleaned up most of the standards, gave us 6 real world circuits with many variations and a whole load more original ones too. Oh and then the lazy rip off merchants only mapped our star chart with the help of JAXA and gave us just the moon to drive on, pfft, they could have at least given us the entire universe with a few more planets to drive on! Yes I'm totaly upset that a few background features havn't been implemented yet while I've been enjoying the rest of the game, even though I'm safe in the knowledge they are being developed and will be included in a furture update. Oh I feel soooo ripped off!!!

I know, but you will always get more fun out of human beings than a computer right? ;)
