Anyone lose a race yet?

I've lost four races so far, all due to the AI being too aggressive punting me off the track, losing to the driver that was third.

I've lost a few times - most from being a bit too willing to cut throttle for that photo-finish to net the PSN trophy, and twice during one of the championships when the AI F40 punted me into the walls.

The Red Bull events are glitched. I golded all the ones available and it doesn't count your wins but it counts the races. Ruined my perfect ratio on the stats page, i'm now at 194 races/185 wins.
Oh my god this answers everything, thank you. After my patch my W:L got roughed up, but I don't recall losing at all.

Lost a couple of S class races, the 10 lap Silverstone challange isn't that easy unless you are in a McLaren F1 race car or a detuned LMP or something... Also strategy comes into it, I've run out of gas in 3 or 4 other races on the last lap.

Actually it is not nearly as hard so long as the Fina McLaren is not in the race. It comes in on RS tires and only needs to pit once making it hard to beat. The other McLaren runs RM tires and is easy to beat, about 30 seconds slower over the 10 laps than the Fina

If you've been winning all the races, that must be dull.

You can have more fun and challenging races by lowering the pp by 80 to 150pp below the allowed pp max.

150 races, 100 wins. I just want to keep the moral of my AI high, don't want to depress them and take the risk that their mood goes back as it was GT5 :-)

I lost a race in Arcade Mode, & was upset to see that this affects your win/loss ratio stats. :grumpy: It was an unfair race too; I was in a stock FRS on Comfort Mediums & came second, but the car in 1st place was the Honda Concept 2013, & he won by over 43 seconds! We have uber-rubberband AI in Career Mode, & Uber-Rabbit cars in Arcade, it's so unbalanced.

I lost a championship which was frustrating as I spun off on the last lap finishing 6th just losing the series! Devastated but it's racing at the end if the day, can't win everything

I've lost several, usually through being too adventurous with my low PP level against the opposition. I also lost one of the Red Bull kart races at Autumn Ring when I hopped a curb whilst in the lead on the last lap :banghead:

I've lost a handful of races. I never felt like the AI beat me. I usually lost because I was over driving a car and lost it or was clueless to track layouts.

I've lost a few races. Sometimes from AI spinning me, sometimes from me screwing up in final laps, and sometimes just because I wasn't used to a car or course and couldn't push hard enough. It'd be less fun if you win all the time though.

My win loss/ratio is not very impressive, but that's because I pick the slowest car I think I can with with. Then I work at it until I can win. If after several races I can't win, I'll either get better tires, do a minor tune to the car, or switch to a slightly faster car.

I also use the in car view with zero race data on the screen and no aids other than ABS 1. Now I don't claim to be any sort of master at all though, and I don't claim this to be the best way to play. It's just my thing. I mess up frequently due to the lack of any assistance, and from trying to push the slowest car possible to win a race. Sometimes it's frustrating, but it's fun and challenging for me.

The best part is that when I finally win, it's actually pretty exciting for me and I often throw my hands in the air.

I get why people play the game other ways though. That's one great thing about this game. There is so much variety that you can really play however you want.
