iv only lost a race because of spinning out on the last corner, it seems no matter how many times i spin out or crash on the laps before the final lap, i will always catch up.

Sum1s2pid taking the piss on the honda folks ay? hahaha

Lost a few.

I found out that you have much better races if you match car and tyres closer to your opponents.
You catch them faster first but once you are behind them they start going a lot faster and give you a real race.

I used the MP4-12C with soft sports in the IntB Allstars against the FXX on hard race and had the best races so far,
sometimes i lost by 0,x sometimes i won by 0,x but every time a real race to the finish.
And i never got pushed by him because we where at the same level.

If you use cars with 150LP less and worse tyres you just make them slow down, and once you reach/overtake them they start going at their real speed and push you around because you are in their way.

I've lost quite a few ... and don't mind a bit, I use an underpowered car on a lesser grade of tyres. Last night i was driving a standard 423 pp car in races with 600 pp maximum and having a whale of a time, lost loads .... but when I get it just right and win by 0.06x seconds, the satisfaction is immense. That's what I play GT for, not some stats to brag over :sly:

If one only enters with a way too overpowered car he can`t lose if he doesn`t fall asleep during the race.
That`s not my approach. Yes, I already lost a few races. So what?
Perfectionism is boring.

72 races entered and 66 won - like most here I keep it real...mostly - well, sometimes I just fancy using a particular car, even if it is a lot more powerful than I'd normally choose.

I must say I like the racing hard suspension. I've only fitted it to one car, and that was only yesterday. It improves performance massively and means you can give far higher powered competitors a real battle even if you're running at a far lower PP.

Lost a couple because I keep forgetting that to disengage reverse I can't just mash the accelerator. I actually need to manually change the gear :banghead:

Yes 1 or 2 times I was punted off thanks to aggressive 2nd placed AI..and once due to too much heat in the tires (R246 Tokyo in an RX-7 RZ '96 90's japanese event) boy do I wish I went 4wd now..

What can I say? It took more than a few attempts to finish out the some of the events (shifter karts at Gran Turismo Arena can go straight to Hell). Oh, and I may have rolled a handful of cars on the last corner at Willow Springs. :dunce:

So far 56 races/55 wins.
But I hear that later on the game becomes more difficult - more power can mean more problems, and also the AI becomes more aggressive.

I just noticed my stat page has me at a 100% win rate. That first loss is gonna suck.

I had a few losses myself but i can't remember them but i do remember one of them which is where i was on the final corner on silverstone in the GT world championship, and i was driving a Audi r18 tdi around the corner until the other driver in a pescorolo c60 hybride judd span me out on the final lap of the race.

I lost plenty of times in IA
Yeah the IA races have quicker AI and it seems that as the classes get higher the max PP is closer to what the AI is using as well. One of my buddies was complaining about the AI being to easy but he was using the AE cars in all the races and using the power limiter to drop the PI to whatever was allowed. He got to IA rather quickly but seems to be having some issues in IA ;)

I have been running a lot of races repeatedly in IA with lesser cars and having a lot of fun doing it. I have lost several times there but I also lost a few in the lower classes as I used that stock Fit until I just couldn't win with it any longer before switching to the Clio.

My current stats are 286 races 195 wins 9,210,904 credits earned 35 hours

About 10 or so but I'm a probally below average driver and 6 of them came on the karts 125 and 2 on the international b final races at Bathurst where the FXX nailed the tail of my SLS GT3 sending it spinning and another at high speed ring where I got slamme between the LFA and the F40 losing control
I cannot win this race and it ruins the champion I'm in. I get smashed until I get spun.

I lost quite a few... still learning mt panorama... and that Nurburgring race in the IA championship was pure evil torture... also lost a few SSX runs taking underpowered cars there for lulz

Currently at 35%

Races entered 152 💡

Races Won 126 :dopey:

Losses 26 :banghead:

Having fun though

I've lost about one third of my races but I purposely choose underpowered cars to make it a close race. I also turned off HUD and ABS today and that led to a few loses.

Exactly - many miss the point here: I lost my first race in the first City Race series at 550 BHP, when my deliberate 100 PP undertune, didn't quite give me the win. I had to undertune at just 50 PP to win !

Looking forward to the S class races, where apparently you need every PP point you can muster !

Bring it on... 'cos the first race I 'lose' racing at maximum allowable PP, will see me falling off my chair and reaching for a bottle of Valium !

I have lost 2 races, both in the GT All-Stars Championship I think it was.

Was using the Light Car Company Rocket and just couldn't keep up with the FXX on 2 of the tracks on the straights. On Brands Hatch I was in the lead on the last lap but was taken out by that FXX in the turn right after the long straight. Was so pissed!

And think I also lost on Bathurst which has 2 massive straights.

I guess it's kinda like that first scratch in your new car. Do it yourself and get it over with. I think I'll go lose a race so I'm not all OCD about it.

Started out 100% but lost a few now. Historic Racing Cup is going to give me a lot of losses. Have to drive that race perfectly.

Lost quite a few actually, basically trying to get the lowest PP car that can win most of the time so there is some actual racing happening...

The one that gave most problem I think was the MR race in Nat A...Madrid short layout puts a premium on power and the under power NSX was hard to beat the lead GT40...
