how easy to insert? please give a very detailed explanation on how you insert these "option" into the game. i'm hoping for some in depth programming code mumbo jumbo here too.

since you have all the code & know how easy it is to add this material.
whats the problem with you going ahead a rewriting it & adding it, so everyone can enjoy??

.......i can't hear ya....whatcha say.....your breaking up???

Sorry but i don't mean to be rude, but letting out the memory card battle and the player garage in the Arcade part of the game sound ....... something I didn't expect.

Also, the AT tranny on some Mercs it's not THAT hard to put in (from Prologue), Then the Ford F150 Lighning Pickup truck which is RWD, then the real HP and tourqe rating from some cars.

I know these are really small things, but in such an important simulator, they do count, don't they ?

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, i'm not dissapointed, I can't wait for the game to come out, but it's little things that count

You just float like a butterfly, don't you?

Failing to answer the question and presenting new factors to your unsupported claim won't accomplish anything. I can see where you'd be frustrated, but please, PD is trying hard. With so many cars and features in the game, there's bound to be mistakes here and there with the initial release. PD is trying damn hard. Give them a bloody break.

I swear, nothing is ever good enough for some people...

When 10 more people are posting while you're typing, of course not...........we all have to admit that the pressure up in PD's head is huge now, until the launch of the other versions of the game

EDIT: I know, my way of thinking is not really in order :):)
EDIT2: And please excuse my grammar

PD has enought time to repair some things until february or march :grumpy:

I'm glad you two are on the inside, with all the knowledge of an entire office full of PR and localization people. Thanks for letting us know how bad PD is slacking off. I'll get the bullwhip...

:indiff:

i'm not dissaponted with the game. in fact, i think it's brilliant!
but some guys think it's not that brilliant, and i'm just saying PD has time to repair those things that people dont like.

i dont care much if those things are in or not

From what I read, I don't like the mention of lag and no Grindelwald. That was a major disappointment. Maybe there is a track that is just as fun.

This will be my last post in this topic - you can't reason with a thread full of ingrates that won't listen to reason.

Here's my take:

You pay $50.00, which can be refunded if you are not happy with the product.

PD pays millions, and they have to risk not making that money back. They put everything they have into this franchise, and some of you sit here and nitpick about a few bugs or mistyped letters. 700+ cars, people. SEVEN HUNDRED PLUS!!!

Go apply to a tech school. Get IT certified. Become a developer. Get hired by PD. Fix it.

Until then, enjoy the game, or hold onto your reciept. And to those of you who are non-refundable importers (like myself), tough luck. That's what you get for not waiting for your country to get the appropriate version.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drown itself. Ahh well, such is life. :indiff:

Rotary Powered
that's right, alot of us don't have it yet so it's hard to say.

But I guess a more interesting question/poll would be.

Based on the Chinese/Japanese version, what bugs you the most?

- Delay?
- No online?
- No 2 player battle with your own car?

:indiff:

Well, remember, Sony said they were still deciding on whether or not to make a new game for online, or make online as an add on disc.

Here's my way.

Make a new disc. Like on it, its says Online GT. Then, that disc reads what you have so far, and loads it. Then, bam! 2 discs! 1-GT4, 2-Online.

What do you guys think?

Okay I have been out of town for a while and missed the 28th release date but after going over the info and the massive amounts of video thanks to Jordan, I have my two cents. First of all, it seems to me that you people are not seeing the big picture. The game itself is not bad, it is great and possibly the greatest racing game ever created. So what if 2-player, and online isn't in the game. All of this nit picking reminds me of "....If you give a mouse a cookie he wants a glass of milk.." Be happy with what you have, because I don't and from what I have seen it is a masterpiece.

I don't have the game of course, but I'm disappointed with all the mistakes popping up in the American cars accuracy, but at least we have 3000 variations of the skyline right? 👎

Everytime I may think Im abit dissapointed, I just look at a couple pics or a vid and the dissapointment magically go's away.

The only thing that i'm dissapointed with the name GT4 is, the GT4 forum here. So many bloody whingers, over-hypers and complainers.

Yes i'm dissapointed that you can't do garage battle, but to be honest having every car in arcade mode seems a fair trade off.

im not complaining but im scared that gt4 wont live up to my hopes after how much waiting? maybe if it came out a year ago fine but ......

Well, since I too do not own the game I can't say weather or not I'm dissapointed, however from what I've seen so far I have to admit my enthusiasm for the game has cooled a bit. I'm keenly disapointed about the lack of Garage battles. It's absence was something I never even complentated so the fact that it isn't in really hit hard. To be honest I'm surprised that it hasen't generated more of an uproar than it has. I'm also feeling a bit let down by the car choices, I realize that this is really a personal taste issue but I had been hoping for more historic cars from the 50's , 60's and 70's not a ton mind you but I'd rather have a D-type or some vintage Aston's or Mercede's or some more Can Am cars than the option to go pickup truck racing. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited about the game, just maybe not as much as I was before. That's my 2 cents. Ok , after delving a little deeper into the forums I guess there is an uproar about the lack of garage battles.

I think that you guys are going to ruin the game for youselves because you expect to much. I learned my lesson with Doom3. I followed that game for 3 years and boy did it get alot of hype, and when it came out it was a better than average fps but nothing more. I was really disapointed and it ruined the game for me. I loved GT3, and so did almost all of you, so how can you be disapointed in a game that only betters a system that we all love and spend countless hours playing.

That's my theory, too.. that the online disc will be online only, it will have no other modes. It'll have all the arcade and garage cars read from your memory card, and will allow you to fine-tune them before races. Otherwise, it'll be completley barebones, no single-player options at all. And will probably cost just a few bucks.

That's really the best way to make everyone happy. The online players get what they want for a pittance, and the offline players can ignore it without missing anything.

Hi all
I'm a new member to this site, so if this reply sounds familiar, then it's because i haven't read all the subjects in the Forum yet due to lack of access to a computer.

All i would say is that i haven't got GT4 yet as i sit here counting every day and minute until GT4 is FINALLY released in the UK.

That is the only thing that has pissed me off, the delay...

I think Polyphony just released it to you Americans first so that all of your soldiers can pre-occupy themselves with a game, rather than killing each other with friendly fire

(just kidding. Big up to those that own it)
