I really think there's better things to do in life than sit around thinking your life sucks, I don't know a single emo that hasn't tried to do anything about their depression.
after 6 open heart surgerys and im still around to talk about it, im afraid i have more reasons to be emo than most, however the reason i survived was because i am not.
Proud to be anti emo and have a positive out look on life.
I laugh at the "problems" most emo's have. If i can be happy and positive then sure as hell they can be too.
All music stirs up emotions, otherwise we wouldn't listen to it. They maybe good emotions or bad emotions, but they're emotions all the same. Ergo, All Music = Emo.

@ Roo, I think you are taking it a bit to literally, if someone is emo or listens to emotional music it means that they are emotional and whine about all of their problems in life.
Most of the emos at my school just dress like emos but none of them actually cut them selves or any of that stuff.
That's very true. Most people really don't know what emo is. Seems to me people think any punk or pop-punk band is emo now. I had someone ask me "Bad Religion, aren't they a bit emo?"
Then there's people who'll assume others are emo just because of the way they dress and do their hair.
i can't blame you for loving fire, it is pretty fun to play with. responsibly of course.
