Some of the other big issues last night when u make a mistake and go off track you have got to look before u just dart right back on yes in some instances you are going to lose spots but that is part of it ruining peoples races because you make a mistake and go off and jump right back on is considered dangerous driving and unsafe re entry

Indeed. They frown on those types of re-entries in real life racing. It's good practice to treat even a game as you would in real life, just without getting too serious unless you are racing at the world finals.

To add to that. If you spin out, it is best and easiest to just stop and stay where you are at and let the drivers move around you also. Reason being that if you are trying to get out of the way after a spin you may actually end up being more in the way.

Still great racing last night though. I watched the last two race replays and it seemed like most were really being respectful if they bumped somebody off or caused an accident. Those damn chicanes at Monza always get people. lol

Lol right the first race I was right on it tail til the chicane then next thing I knew I was looking at a sea of cars coming at me

i think the start was always gonna be a melee on that long ass straight without anything to slow us down and string us out into the first big braking zone... that was the best race ive ever had at the track though, and i knew any contact i got was more incidental than nefarious...

Next week is blue moon infield a in reverse which is going to be even tighter going into turn 2.

The first 3 turns are slow and bunched up turns. Mistakes will happen. Lol

What are everyone's thoughts on rolling starts.

Im thinking they may help space out the field a little bit and at the same also help fix the stuck on grid issue.

Instead of getting stuck on the grid, you just get stuck in auto-drive. If it's gonna happen, it will , but yes, this could be a solution to the "sardine can" lap 1 issues.

I must have made a fun pick on this one,my 2 cents small gap rolling start may be a place to start

Great track car for me was hard to handle I had to turn brake bias to the rear in order to settle the car down but monza is one of my favorites so no complaint here

HOLY CRAP! IM SO SORRY! I TOTALLY FORGOT THE DATE!!!

My apologies fellas. I got lost in changing around and cleaning the house trying to keep the wife somewhat satisfied. I'm so sorry fellas.
No worries man

After doing many sport mode races and seeing the huge flaws of rolling starts(in this game)I am completely against them unless on a track that is a banked oval or based off of an oval.

So my opinion is use rolling starts on these oval type of tracks and continue with standing starts on regular road race tracks. I personally like starting all bunched up in a standing start. We can't get good at them if we take them away. Lol

That being said, I will go with whatever yous guys choose to do reguardless.

I like standing starts myself but at the same time we need to find a solution to the lap 1 pile ups.

WELCOME TO ARL!

@____________

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join ARL:

We run a clean league by enforcing a penalty system . We also expect all of our drivers to know how to race clean and respect others on the track. Please if this is something that you cannot follow, then this is not the league for you. Once that is understood, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. Review ALL of the first post of this thread, paying extra attention to the Race Night Layout, Qualifying Procedure, and Race Night Procedures!

2. Review the current car list and post a reply here in thread that you have read and understand the first post, your PSN and attach the following GTPlanet names so we can make sure everything is in order and get you on the Grid!

@TexasJDC @Nick Cannella @Herimopp89 @Jw_wk1010 @Ryan Kirk @Neutty @PApunk924

3. Review the schedule and Confirmation will open for the weeks race on Monday mornings and end Wednesday afternoon at 6 pm EST.. (Failure to do so by 6 est will result in a DNS.)

4. All of our lobbies are set to Friends only, so on the day of the race find your lobby that you have been assigned to, and make sure that you are friends with the host of that lobby!

5. Race Clean and most importantly, have FUN!

During the week we run a number of
different events, we encourage all to join as many as possible.

Maybe I'm over thinking this whole thing. Lets keep it simple and not change everything for the season finale.

Also i would like to help anyone that wants to practice racing in a large group.

Please message me anytime you want to practice anything.

I'm not the fastest driver but I can help with some insight on proper race lines and braking points.

i think GT sport needs to fix rolling starts before we try. they help on banked ovals and such like was said earlier, but i hate being in the middle of a turn when it goes green and crashing into the person next to me cause i didnt have enough steering lock dialed in when i all of a sudden regain control,... i think monza w/o chicanes was always gonna lead to that, its hard to know where everyone is around you (even with radar) when we can all draft and catch eatch other in that big pack in the opening laps... we (probably just me) just need to remember that there is gonna be another lap after turn one, lap one. so, i agree, lets leave it for now and just blame the track, and i think also ryan.(<< ive read its his fault right??)

Hey guys I'm messaging you all bc I was selected to beta test the new ps4 update and I'm allowed to also sign up 20 people. This will allow 16 player parties along with improved quality and network connectivity

Go to ps store
Select redeem
Enter code 7AAL 39NG 7DEC

After it downloads you'll need to go to system software and select the new one to install.

The only down side is once you install it you can only talk in parties with others who have the update.

Confirmations are open.

Heres my Benny Hinn confirmation
