Audi S4 '03

Would look better (and cooler) as a wagon, no? Predictably, a bit slower than the M3.

This most efficient, serious German V8 also has a solid, metallic character that is quite different to that of American V8's.

Pretty sure this one is also a Golf. They're all Golfs.

I think it's called "premium lemans blue pearl (3P)" The Audis look so right in that color. Lol reminds me a bit of BMW Laguna Seca Blue.

Lol. I have been so close to buying a used 740 turbo off of craigslist a few times! Sadly they were all clapped out. Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out. Mind sharing your settings?
It's your tune I just lowered to the ground and changed the brake balance to 6-1

It's your tune I just lowered to the ground and changed the brake balance to 6-1
Forgot to add since I got the car and tuned it with your setup it really makes me want one in real life. Like you said the ones you see although they are best down. You have to remember just how old they are. it brings up the question are the volvos/any make or model of car that is made today going to stay on the road for about thirty years. My friend brought his 240 wagooner over to scrap, I looked in and it had 370,000 miles on the original engine and it still ran.
Thankfully with gran turismo we can bounce the rev limiter all day long. Don't know if they would hold up to that 30 years down the road.

Ah. Thanks. I'll try it out as soon as I can peel myself away from the SNES for a minute!

Makes me wanna cry that it seems like there are no good ones left out there. I had a DA Integra (LS 4 door non-VTEC....yo) that I would dearly love to own again, but it is literally impossible to find one in good shape.

I do have to say that modern cars, and the methods used in their production, are AMAZING. Many manufacurers don't even recommend a break in period for new cars anymore. I was astounded when the Ford rep told me that when I bought my car. I mean....Ford!?? Really!!?? (Not that I listened...Old habits die hard I guess.)

Hell, even Chrysler is making quality products these days....

(lol...I kid. I see a round, "M" shaped brick being thrown through my window in my near future.... )

It wouldn't surprise me to see much of the current generation go for 3-500k or longer between rebuilds. If oil reserves last that long.

Get it while you can...

It's your tune I just lowered to the ground and changed the brake balance to 6-1

Ok tried out those changes. Lowering the front ride height helped a lot. I also went ahead and changed front camber from 0.2 to 0.0. The car is much better with these changes. Brake balance might be personal preference- I can't drive it at all with 6 1. :guilty: Gonna update the post now. Thanks for your input!

Here is a small video of the new Volvo in action! Sorry in advance for the quality, no capture card. Not bad for an IPad.

Lol noob drift skillz I know.:embarrassed:

Though its WRC career only lasted four rallies, there were some very, very nasty crashes involving this car. Can't imagine the terror of being the co-driver during the Group B days (or ever, really.)

There was one where it crashed into a tree and exploded into a huge fireball. Both codriver and driver were killed instantly. I can find a GIF, if you'd like.

That was actually the one I was thinking of when I wrote that. Pretty gruesome.

First car I have done with serious aero to consider. Still trying to wrap my head around aero, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

*update* several changes to make car more driveable. Big thanks to Ksquad for testing the car and providing feedback, helped improve the car dramatically!

Now comes in 2 grades: Nuclear and slightly less destructive Thermalbaric.

I bought this thinking it would be amazing a while back, and the understeer was so awful I had to sell it again for 1/5 of the buying price. I hated it.

I have a lot of trouble understanding cars with lots of aero, which is why I've tended to avoid them. Sorry you didn't like it.

Not having the F12 in the game is a real missed opportunity for PDI. It is better (and cooler, and therefore double better) than the 599 in every way. I guess this will have to do. Only 918hp. Yawn.

Putting a turbo on a 2ZZ just seems wrong. This one has some really nice off-throttle turn-in. Watch out for wheelspin coming out of corners.

Another tuner S2000. Can't get enough of these things-I think this one has a more interesting motor than the Spoon. Reasonably quick. As the proud owner of a Big American V8, I can tell you without bias that the F20C is an absolute masterpiece and one of the best motors ever made.

Ferrari F40 '92

A very enjoyable and engrossing drive. Easier than you think. This one is going to look a little different. I took a bunch of pictures of this car because I think this is one of the best looking and most detailed car models in the game. In case you were wondering, the red that I use on most of the Ferraris is called "Rouge Lucifer." IMO it is by far the deepest and richest metallic or pearlescent red in the game. (Not that I have seen them all!)

Update 2/16/16 improved drivability and driving quality. If you want the definitive, exhilarating F40 driving experience with just the right amount of slither and epic power delivery; the kind of barely contained lunacy you read about in magazines like EVO, or in this Chris Harris video:

then this one is for you. I love this car.

I can't wait to try this! For some reason I just had a hard time tuning this car. I also hate how insanely off the pp is for this car, which pretty much makes it uncompetitive all together :guilty:.
