As Interior view will not be in all cars, would you like to have a bonnet view?

Would you like to see a proper hood cam, just in front of the windscreen?

Remember the Viper GTS from prologue? classic GT car. Does it have it's interior? Yes. Will it be premium? Highly doubt it.

People worry too much.

Edit. Also the Mustang and the Skyline have their interiors modeled as well. Are they premium? Highly doubt it.

Idk if you are familiar with Twitter but there is a character limit of 140, so you cant just copy paste the 140 character Q then write a 140 ch. A. So they just had the answers.
+ the questions were asked via a Trending Topic, which is a Tag system in which u adress the person @irnbruturbo then Tag with te pound sign # the topic in this case #KY #e3 #HONDA, so all the Q's are in these # TT's, they just picked random ones to answer, and really its their fault that they didnt state which Q's were being adressed.

Stop bitching and go do some research or put the pacifier in it.:crazy:
 
Mods need to change the title, this is not confirmed nor unconfirmed, and therefore it's speculation that most people will just believe since the first post cites no sources.

Do some research and you'll discover this thread is based on pure speculation without a single fact to back it up. As you said, they could have been answering anything, you guessing the question doesn't help.


If you think you can resolve this issue, please provide evidence, i genuinely would love to see it.

Also, you might have heard we have an AUP around here, you should check it out.
 
No i cant nor am i claiming to, all i know is what is here, i was on Twitter during the Q&A and tried to squeeze some carefully worded questions in to get straight asnwers from the Kazunator itself. No avail.

His answers were more of a neutralizing nature than an informative one, with the exception of additions like the CR-Z and its technology reflected in game.

He never said that thats what were gonna get (no cpit view for STND) he actually answered (probably a very poorly worded question) with another poorly worded question.

Time will tell is all.

The first words are "As Interior view will not be in all cars" which is based purely off speculation.

What Kaz said was very vague could be interpreted as being sarcastic.

So basically, you agree, he didn't actually say anything clear enough to say 'interior view will not be in all cars'. In fact, he never came close.

This is soo vague, if you take it as correct english, the answer is actually repeating the question. It seems most likely that someone has said will the interiors be similar to GTPSP. Kaz is then asking do they mean the black frame, this was the first reply. The second reply is it an option they would want.

Its an option i would actually like, as the full cockpit could actually be a little too detailed.

Yes, well i never disagreed in the first place i was there live as it was tweeted.

Not knowing which question he was answering is a big obstacle but at the same time he never said "standard cars WILL have blacked out cockpits" or "ONLY premium cars will have cockpit view" or "standard cars will NOT have cockpit view".

He just dodged a bit and threw us back a question of his own which due to the restrictions of electronic communication couldnt tell us his emotion or tone.

To me it makes no sense, so im on the side of cockpits for all.

Emotion & tone can be difficult to interpret when the person it typing themselves, even worse when its through an interpreter, then to text, in twitter form, with no link to the original question.

You don't have to understand everything. I didn't threaten to just not buy "a video game", I'm having second thoughts about buying the game I've been looking forward to since GT4. After having waited for this long I (note, not you, not anyone else but me) have certain things that I expect from GT5 and cockpit is sure as heck one of them.

If your a sim racer you should be choosing the bonnet view or hoping the premium cars have a movable seat as the current cockpit view is too far back to be considered realistic.

Oh, I'm a sim racer and bonnet views is definitely nothing compared to cockpits in my opinion. Adjustable cockpit view isn't something new to sim racing so I don't think I'm setting the bar too high either.

Most people might, and most likely will disagree with this and that's a-okay with me but in my opinion a simulator without cockpit view is no simulator.

Does it literally just have to be the camera is placed inside the passenger compartment, does there have to be a dash and guage cluster and wheel, does it mean the whole interior needs to be modeled to some extent?

I think there may be some cofusion here...

When I think cockpit view I think camera must be in the passenger area and you need to see a steering wheel and hands. Speedo and tach etc would be preferable as actual guages but even if they were just on screen displays that would still seem to be cockpit view if you ask me.

I find it very hard to believe that any cars will not have a camera in the passenger compartment view of some kind.

Yes, to me cockpit view means a realistically modelled interior as in Prologue, nothing like those blacked out PSP-style cockpits.
And after reading the replies Kaz gave on Twitter and some other quotes from magazines in other threads I think those Prologue interiors could possibly be regarded as Standard whilst Premium is referring to a whole new level of detailing ( like those NASCAR screenshots showed ).
At least that is what I hope is the case, keeping optimistic.

Not worth your effort worrying about. As we have concluded, this thread is based on pure speculation, no evidence and really should be locked, or at least renamed.

Yes... to be honest I think prologus cockpits represent kind of a middle ground of what we will see. The standard cars I think may be less accurate than prologues dashboards but be about the same amount of interior and the premium cars I think will be everything you can possibly see done right.
 
Obviously Kaz was speaking :sly: with tongue in cheek; I am sure he wants gamers/racers jaws to drop when they load the game!

Besides, there is 5 months to confirm the game's elements, so relax at least for the next couple of days :)
 
Can anyone explain to me what this GtPSP Black window/black screen/black dash thing is all about? I haven't played the game so I don't really know. does it actually show the wheel?
