Kind of mindboggling that there is no BMW M2 (F87) on the roster. Not only in AS but other games too.

Take it this way, the M235i gets the attention of it being a monsterous 2 series from us lot but it helps the VLN drivers so those lot purchase ACPRO for that M235 and its profit. Getting an M2 now would just be too similar, its pretty much that m235i with streets on yes there are differences but not enough.

Just to be sure... Assuming you pre-order and receive the prestige pack, console versions will have ALL the cars except the ones under "Soon"?

Or am I mistaken and about to throw a rage fit?

You are mistaken my friend...We will miss out 6 great cars such as Nissan NISMO GTR,BMW M4,Lambo Gallardo etc as the're part of Prestige Pack that is only available when you preorder physical disc from game...

Found this on Youtube, all liveries for every car on the game:

Looks like quite a nice selection of real world liveries to choose from.

The stories behind a lot of the fictional liveries is amazing and hilarious but im not sure if im allowed to tell any of them

Wow, that is confusing...??

Well while AC is a game it is also a business, the licensing guy needs to make sure they have enough money to make a profit, to keep the interest of the audience and pay everyone and then have enough money to get future licensing or supporting technology licenses eg the yebis graphics post processor or fmod sound engine.

That race variant is so close to the M2 but it means less profit because lets say a new dlc comes out that M2 might switch places with a GT4 car or VLN car or Formula SAE you never know but the three i mentioned are all types of race series that ACPRO dominates in. Its surprisingly popular for the small to medium sized teams. If the M2 joins the VLN series then it will likely come and replace the M235i like how the M6 GT3 is about to come to replace the Z4.

Read that the red pack DLC (cars and track) were not included in AC on PS4(?). Any idea why?
Got AC on PC but m just curious....

The 488 was a pre order bonus and the other two were free as was the tracks.

Yeah I'm sorry but I still have absolutely no idea what point you are trying to make here...

Anyway yes, the M235i race version and M2 are quite close in terms of performance

Wouldn't the 2015 variants make more sense to go with the 2015 Porsche?

Great to have all three of the manufacturers cars whatever the years to be honest.
Not given how off the pace the 2015 Toyota was. It would have been better to get the 2014 Porsche - they were all competitive that year.

It would have been nice to get the 2014 Porsche 919 Hybrid too as all 3 LMP1-H cars were relatively close that season.

We will get the Toyota TS040-HYBRID and Audi R18 e-tron quattro so at least they will be direct rivals. The 2015 919 Hybrid could have a BOP adjustment to pull it back to that level though.

Roll on LMP1-H cars arriving on console. Hopefully Porsche Pack Vol II lands 20 December.

Ok, did a few 599xx test laps round Nurb Sprint and I guess I was wrong. My mid clouds time was only 1 tenth slower than my clear time (1:29.7). I did feel as though I could brake slightly later into T1 with a warmer track, but not by much, and everything else felt pretty much the same.

EDIT: Just realised I posted this in the wrong thread lol

What's up with Mazda 787B damn it?

I'm thinking it will be a free car alongside the first car pack of 2017. This year looks like a stretch by now, and it wouldn't be the first time something has been delayed.

#Soon

Audi TT 2015 models (Free update)
Toyota GT86 GT4
Lamborghini Asterion
Lamborghini Aventador
Lamborghini Gallardo GT3
Lamborghini Veneno

Are the Audi TT 2015 models still likely after Kunos just released VLN and Cup versions? The Toyota GT86 GT4 was not in the RTR pack, which makes me wonder if it's still planned. Didn't we already get the Aventador, and when did Kunos last mention cars like the Gallardo GT3 and Veneno?

Excellent questions. I love Lamborghini more than life itself. We don't need a base Aventador and we don't need a Gallardo GT3. I'll take the GT3, however, as long as it's on par, performance wise, with the current batch we have. Contrary to what many people say...the Gallardo GT3 IS still used in competition.

Please, don't give us the Veneno! That car is so stupid. Normally I would say no to the Asterion, but Kunos has decided to start including all sorts of vehicles...sedans, SUV's...So I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world. I would much more prefer a Huracan, Huracan RWD, Huracan Avio or Huracan Performante. In my opinion, we don't need to always get the fastest version of a car...although, that might also come down to the manufacturers preferring we put in an Aventador SV instead of a base Aventador, for example, just so the name Aventador is associated with better performance in the sim.

Personally, if I could have my way I would send Marco to Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy and tell him he can't come home until we've got a Lamborghini Classic's package worked out. :D There are so many beautiful Lamborghini's that the average person has never even heard about. The Jarama, 350GT & 400GT, Urraco, Jalpa, Espada, etc. Say 5 classic Lambo's and 5 classics from other Italian automakers. :) 👍

That's a pretty sweet list of cars, in my opinion. It's funny. Porsche had been MIA from racing sims for how many years? 15 or something like that? It's great that their brand is official in the sim world once again - but who would have thought Porsche would become the manufacturer with the most cars represented in Assetto Corsa? Not me! We'll also have a sweet collection of Ferraris once that DLC pack drops.
