Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[Fanapryde]

Cams for Vairano Circuit.
Have Fun.

Cams look great as always, thanks.
If I may ask, could you (whenever you feel/have time) provide some for Leipzig Porsche (the Relesys, Neel Jani, TonyB, Sliderman, nobody version) ?

https://mega.nz/file/jeASjbSb#8u3D_snhHYAMbeoElu142u4qqb85qayx8afV29RFy9Y

Some of the layouts have that very steep up/downhill section which could look spectacular
Tia

Edit: unless I overlooked existing cams posted somewhere ?

Allright modders, a 'little' issue I have with a nifty little Opel Kadett C GTE S1 from Eboo (available from Assettoland):
https://assettoland.wixsite.com/assettoland/copy-of-other

I seem to have a version from a more recent date, but it has no version number and I don't know where I got it from. But both versions show the same issue:
the exhaust smoke comes out of the front air intake (yellow arrow) and nothing (no smoke or flames) coming out of the exhaust in the rear.
Is there an (easy) solution that I can do, or is somebody willing to fix that ?

[TonyBarracuda]

Done a quick Update to Jeddah as it wasn't working for like 50% of people :s this should fix the issues. View attachment 998616

HI mate, are you planning to update Hong Kong from GT4 ?

[ApexVGear]

In case you don't have it, this was last updated in 2018.

For VR, it looks great, except that the rear window has weird reflections, so smart mirrors show gray in the center mirror. Also, the shifting is off, as the driver reaches into the side panel, too low and too short of the knob.

EDIT: Look at this post from @Brilli Peri about updates to this mod.

And yes, there are Pride flags, and stats about the countries Human Rights violations around the track instead of Giving the brands that support such violations any exposure.

Dude, that's a sick detail. Kudos, seriously!

[Real Toonces]

Lilski had a hand in making this.

The Scalextric look arrives for AC.

He didn’t make it, he helped spruce it up in his own words. Tilke Design made the track.

The Devil never sleeps.

Hey

I wanted to recreate the 2019 le mans field. I still need some skins and can't find them anywhere.
Maybe some of you have an idea.

Skins still missing:

#1 Rebellion Racing (Art Car)
#20 High Class Racing (Oreca 07)
#43 RLR M Sport (Oreca 07)
#62 Weathertech Racing (Ferrari 488)
#84 JMW Motorsport (Ferrari 488)

Thanks in advance.

Try copying these lines for the position and direction in the flames.ini file:

[FLAME_0]
POSITION=-0.498, 0.251, -1.74
DIRECTION=-0.07,0,-1

Started doing some progress on the 25TH Anniversary finally managed to attach all of the objects without loosing the polygons i found out a way.
But damn the detail on these GT models is insane. Will use the Kunos LP500 textures for the interior and the wheels/rims since i have no clue what the hell is going on with the mesh on those.

Songs like this motivate me to work on the Countach more lol.

[Afterlife]

its being released because it was Archs requirement to get physics from him, so the stock one will be released, its also not just my effort, i just took over where Trawa left off

I'm absolutely stoked to hear this. I'm not the biggest fan of the car, but that's a talented group of people right there so I'm sure it'll be great regardless. Thank you, and perhaps an even bigger thanks to Arch for demanding a public release haha.

So I've been messing around with this VW Scirocco GC10 V6 mod from Assettoland and having fun with it, however it needed some more skins. So for those who enjoy that car as much as I do, here are 10 more skins I've created to deepen your field. You can see some of them I've posted in the photo thread. Enjoy.

This image is on RTM's page right now.

I will never give them my money, but I really hope this car makes it to the public someday. It has been a favourite of mine pretty much since I knew it exists.

I also just checked their Patreon. They really expect anyone to give them the full price of a AAA game per month?!? Insane.

Love this car too!

FYI Aug 2020 update
https://www.racedepartment.com/down...13-s0-s1-data-csp-extension-color-pack.35310/
"Physics have been given a complete working over. The bones were actually quite good despite being one of my first cars (the power of real data) but I've kitted it out with all of our latest features: fins for yaw drag, recalculated brakes with an LUT for the hydraulic proportioning valve, new inertias, tweaked suspension setup and completely overhauled tires. I also tidied up the setup options a bit, reset most of the F6 cameras and fixed a couple of annoying UI and log errors. I'm still waffling a bit on a few things, mostly in the tires, hence v1.99 and not v2.0... I'm open to feedback there.

On the CSP side there's been a total overhaul of the lighting, new paint shaders (the metallics... OMG the metallics) and a couple of little quality of life tweaks to a material here and a shader there. Once again, despite its age the bones here were quite good. Note that we can only do so much with this kind of non-invasive surgery - the wipers still don't work, for example, and there are a few other things that could only be further improved by changing the model itself - but that's up to Mantas. It's not ours to modify."

I bet it's the leaking radiator not the exhaust smoke. Ilya added these features in preview 35 ; )

Well, with you doing advertising for them, that will boost their Patreon.

Does anyone know if a GrassFX extension exists for this track:

https://acmods.net/tracks/california-coast/

California Coast

[Blackcelica]

Not questioning the purpose of the messages visible in the Jeddah track, but for me they kill immersion.
So I made a quick skin for myself. I'm far from a specialist in making track skins, but it came out reasonably imo.
Since I heard / read more people wanted a 'real' skin I decided to share.
Will be up for a week or so:

This will save me a job for now. Hopefully there will be a much improved version of the track before I drop a full F1 skin on it.

Something of really important is on it's way... hope the quality will be good

That's great news! I messaged Julien not long ago and he never responded back, I figured it was dead.

Thanks. But in Assetto land I see the Scirocco GC10 V8 and couldn’t find the V6 car. Any advise?

That's the car. Perhaps an error by the creator.

This is the wrong place to ask for Scamdream´s links.
