Is anyone else having major issues with the AI for the GTPlanet version of the Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) from ACC?

The AI doesn't seem to apply full brakes when slowing down, so it usually misses the corner completely and flies off the track, and retires.

I haven't been able to figure out a fix for this behaviour, but I have a feeling it has something to do with CSP or extended physics.

Has anyone else been having this issue? I'd really like to be able to have an OK version of this car on my AC install.
I put a video about this issue in the mod discussions but the author told me he doesn't have this issue. So after some attempts to correct this I abandoned the car, unfortunately.

talking about the Integra....when do the lights stay on?

Updated ext_config for the MaidCafe M3 E46 attached
Great job once again - many thanks!
The only remaining issue is that the rear lights are way too bright. They need to be a lot dimmer otherwise the brake lights can't really be seen when the rear lights are on.
Just like with the Corvette, the rear number plate light is very bright too.
@bestiajo, any chance of additional tweaks to fix these, like you did with the Corvette?

I do hope for $45000,- / mnd, now with the real big improvements like FRS4, DLAA4, XeSS and Dx12-ultimate. And not something like an improved dynamic shadows for the car valve caps that somewhere is conflicting to another setting.

Keep dreaming, all you're gonna get are incremental 'upgrades' and more broken stuff along the way lol

2025 is edging closer and rain is still in paid beta. It has been what, 5 years in dev ? More ? Tells you all ya need to know about Ilja's true mo(ney)tivations.

This is turning into a Star Citizen situation.

There WILL NEVER BE a 1.0 FINAL, because that would mean stop money earnings for him. So, we will never have, for free, the rain and or a real 100% stable bug-free version...

@StoffelWaffle
I also often have problems with AC / CSP.I just got a new PC (RX-9070 OC, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 10 TB SSD) with W11 and had to redo a lot of settings. I also get these error messages, crashes and sometimes can't start a race... Then I could throw my Samsung Odysse in the corner and open a beer! But let's be honest! IF IT WORKS, that makes up for everything, right? A 90-minute race in Zandvoort with the DRM turbo grenades is so awesome, you can forget about any movie! Or race over the old Spa with the 1960s F1 cars...I can't get out of the swarms anymore. And without Ilya none of this would be the case! So begrudge him his (few ;-)) mistakes!

In my opinion, version 1.0 will arrive when AC has nothing left to offer (which it will never happen).

I just hope that one day all the parts that make up the ecosystem that supports AC will be able to coexist harmoniously. A few days ago, I raced after a long period of inactivity. Euronascar at Most Autodrom, a combination I love. Halfway through the race, the physics engine exploded for no reason, and a few seconds later, so did my desire to race (again). Every time I start a race, there's a problem, and my evenings end with me taking the steering wheel away and saying a famous Italian word that you all surely know (it starts with v and ends with o) 👀

Hi Team,

I'm looking for your help. Virtually I can penetrate any part of the track if the impact speed is big enough, virtually with any part of the car and also with other cars with pointy collision model.

Mods:
Original Kunos Monza + Pyyer 6.2 Monza 2024 extension

VRC Formula Alpha 2024 non csp v1.1 car
CSP 0.2.5-preview1

Observations:
RSS Formula Hybrid 2020 acts the same
collider normals seem to be good direction
track physics barriers 1WALL stuff normals seems to be ok
Pyyer extension covers 1WALL guardrail with non collider sponsor graphics placed relatively close to collision wall, however pure guardrail and sponsor logo covered guardrail acts the same
could reproduce offline and online both

original Kunos track without Pyyer 2024 extension behaves normally

I'm not convinced this is only a track issue. Or a car collider only issue.
Maybe a collider + track + csp track extension in use issue ?

I could replicate this issue on other tracks also. I'm stuck where to look for the fix.

Well more than 1 year ago I posted here a quite big problem using CSP with online races, you could go thru walls if the speed was "competitive", which ruined our online races in multiple leagues, multiple cars, multiple tracks, multiple years.

Asking for help here. Unfortunately not a single reaction.
Contacted Pyyer about the issue, not a single reaction.
TBH> it was not a Pyyer mod issue, but his tracks were more prone. It did happen at original rt_suzuka, and many more tracks from other modders.
Tracks were not showing any well known bugs like setting collision walls incorrectly or normals facing wrong direction.

Contacted Ilja and we managed to sort out the issue in a 1 month intensive development sprint with lots of testing and the issue was solved after I have seen this bug first when racing online in 2022.

My learnings were>
some communities simply ignored only racing issues - unfortunately this one also, at that time
some modders simply ignore detailed feedback about issues even when you suggest the workaround - wont name them to avoid trouble
almost everybody is focusing on offline content, not online races therefore bugs during online are not considered - worth the effort

and this is also thru for track and car builders with gizillion triangles when average Joe cannot join with his average PC a 15 grid online race without dumping FPS below 100, which is mandatory for competitive racing.

In my case Ilja was responsive, has taken the urgency and importance signal and we could solve it.

But there are always 2 sides of the coin.

Hello, People back at it again with another update on the Saleen

Still work to be done, Mainly physics and sound right now.

As for the 3D stuff it's pretty much completed.

What we have atm

1997 Saleen - Donington Spec View attachment 1485370

1998 Cirtek Motorsport - Jarama Spec View attachment 1485371
1997 Saleen - Le Mans 24 Hours Spec

Something to note, That when going trough these years of GT racing i came to the decision that i'll most likely be looking into commissioning the Porsche 911 GT2 car with as many variants that we can find etc.

No one has made an actually good variant of this car and the ones that do exist are frankly. Turds. Low quality and does not live up to the absolute legendary status that the car deserves. So instead of making the Callaway, We'll be looking into the Porsche instead ontop of that we'd be opening up the flood gates to having finally having an car to fill several YEARS of race's and series.

No release date, It's coming when it's ready.
