Alright, so I exaggerated a little. HA HA HA


I probably should not complain about the new Audi VGT since we don't get to see it until the 9th. Hard to tell on the video and it's quite dark and the wheels are spinning. So the hubcap style wheels may not be on that car. :lol:
 
I assume it will be an EV, and not a hybrid, considering how much Audi is investing in EVs now. They will of course want to capitalise on their Formula E exposure too.

How that will pan out regarding long races when you need a recharge is another thing altogether.

While not totally realistic, the electric cars in GT6 would recharge at the same speed as a gasoline car would refuel. In the 24 minutes of Le Mans for example, the Chapparal recharged like a regular gasoline powered car.

I may be wrong, but all I hear in the video is just a whistle so you're probably right about it being a purely electric vehicle. Too bad.

When I saw the VGT teaser, I immediately thought of DTM, so IMO it makes perfect sense to post the picture of next year DTM so we can compare them both. I'm guessing the audi VGT will be like a futuristic electric DTM car.

Yeah I said it because you talked about the wheel covers and I thought interior is something worth mentioning.
 
Enough with these "safe" corporate concepts. Just let Clarkson or Q-Branch have at it. Machine guns, scythed wheels, smoke screen, and powered by the Saturn V.

Or just give us the Homer.
 
Even if this was paid content, I would pay for it.

I'm not a huge fan of VGTs but even less of the 1,000kg 1,000hp type mid engined LMP type machines.
