This has just been tweeted out by GT Twitter the Audi VGT is arriving April 9th
Sweet. Thought they'd forgotten about the VGT's..
.. though it seems is might be an EV.
I wonder if that means a change is coming to the releases of the DLC since all the previous ones have been at the end of the month
as 9th April is a Monday.
Looks like it may be a decent entry for the VGT, appears from the silhoutte like it may have some TT/R8's influences.
April 9th? I wonder if it’ll come in the same update as the Supra.
Also I hope it gets added to an actual group because it looks like it’s ready to race. It would be interesting having an all-electric Gr.3 car if it balanced well.
It'll either be full electric or plug-in hybrid since Audi's PHEVs also carry the e-tron badge.
Hmm..wonder if there will be back to back updates. One in late March and one early April?
So does this mean that the march update will be joined together with the april update? or does it mean that the march update will come sooner to give it more of a buffer time between updates?
I know we were promised 50 cars by March, but with this update coming in early April, does that suggest the March update will be delayed to early April?
Or does that imply the April update will be small?
Not the Audi Vision GT but doesn't look bad !
I think there will be a March update but by April we will get a small pack like the first update GT SPORT had.
The real license for....fake cars! I gave up Gran Turismo. I want the real Audis
Oh joy. Another Gr.X car to potentially collect with daily workouts.
I can't see the word "update" in the announcement. I guess on April 9th, they will reveal the car and from this day an update will follow (it could be the same day!)
It's not like GTS added the R8 and R18 already, and we got mainly "real" cars
I'm thinking the car will be part of an update at the end of March, but perhaps isn't revealed in game until the 9th, at Audi's request.
Silhouette racers are just so tedious. Now they homogenised the Aero too, what's the point?
GT has been creating fake cars for a long time. Why complain now?
Ed:Yeah i get it because variety, but i wouldnt be complaining about more content.
"Coming to GTS on April 9th" sounds like "will be playable then" though.
Cost, parity and fairness.
With all due respect, why post this picture if it isn't at all related? This causes confusion
Parity and fairness have no place in Motorsport.
Does this mean no March update?
Are you purposefully ignoring the many real cars that were added to GTSport in the past few months?
EDIT: 1.15 added!
EDIT 2: New Audi VGT will technically count as a real car. There's your real Audi!

I was only thinking a couple of days ago whether we will see an Audi VGT. I should think it about the others now!
The Audi looks the part in the teaser anyway. I assume it will be an electric car as they are going to be starting a big push their electric range now.
Some of us were hoping they did forget about them.
But, yay, another addition to the most popular and most used cars in GT...oh wait
What a useless controversy ...
As long as they are giving FREE existing cars and a VGT after tot months, I do not see how seriously we can complain ...
You still do not grasp the concept that these are things that help the game both economically and visiblity, so the VGTs are welcome.
I bet it could slot into Gr.3 nicely.
I've been wondering when the VGT project was gonna continue. Hopefully this one will have an interior
