Banned User Log Question

I think I may have worded some of the things wrong.

Question 3 - I was mainly asking if it was possible to have an automated banned user log. I'm saying, does this type of forum have the tools possible to create one or would you have to publish spreadsheets or other forms of automated logging of bans?

Edit Statement - I meant "inb4" doesn't generally mean "in before the lock." You can say inb4 as a presumption of something. See question 2's example. IBTL just means "this thread is going to get locked." Inb4 is a presumption, but I see what you mean.

We do, but it's behind the scenes.

Every action taken by Jordan, Administrators, and Moderators against or upon any member and/or post is logged.

And the Banned User Log as most members know it is mostly there for their entertainment.

Anyone mind telling me how obsessive rules and gamerdog were banned? Sorry if this is off topic, but I guess this would be the thread to ask it in.

Did you even bother to check the log? They're both there. :odd:

Yeah, but how did he disobey AUP?

All the way at bottom, the mod just added it. 👍

Ah, I see and I figured out how gamerdog was banned even without the BUL :sly:. I guess his :sly: does not equate to do whatever the **** he wants like he thought

Aha, I see were you're going. Yeah I'm close to banned. 29 points :ouch: But I'm doing good! Haven't got an infraction! Ill still miss him because he helped me a lot with my Top Gear and trades, and GTPodcast.

Yeah, but how did he disobey AUP?
Like all warnings and infractions, that's between him and the staff.

locoman88
Yeah, wait, aren't you a mod? :odd:
That would be how I know why he was banned and am not at liberty to divulge said information, yes.

But you never gave him an infraction, correct? I wonder. Last time I talked to him, he only had one. Wonder what happened. :scared:

How is that relevant? There's no rule that says you have to have three infractions to be banned. For the most part, that's how it typically goes, but it certainly doesn't have to. I've been a member for almost 8 years, a Mod for 2 and have no infractions or warnings but if I do something monumentally stupid enough, I'd be gone tomorrow.

Hmm, true. I see your point. I've four (geez, I'm a horrible person) but am one point away. So, thanks for the information. One more question, how is it being a mod? Sorry if I'm asking too much.

Okey so gamerdog just got banned yesterday? Wow, people all around me are getting banned! He was one of them people i used to speak to alot, didn't think it would come to this. Well he is my friend on PSN so i guess if there is going to be any further discussion with him for me it will be there.

You have 3, and 2 warnings. Despite those infractions and warnings and despite having your post count reset for spamming, you're still posting over 50 posts a day (post count was reset 20 days ago and you're already on over a thousand...) Most folk with your infraction history would have been banned by now so you have been given chances to improve which you have ignored and have not taken. You still continue to post of the sake of it without really adding anything to the forums.

How is it being a postwhore?

 Got me. Yeah I'm sorry, I gotta be less active, its only because of trading, grinding, and etc. But yeah, I take the mobile to the limit . What can I say, GTPlanet is a very interesting website!
And I don't think I just post for count, I just post because I may need to.

Dang locoman88! Might want to be careful, i would hate to see you get banned from here. I really do enjoy talking with you on that Hot Wheels thread and seeing all the interesting pictures you post on there, i would certainly hate to see you go.:scared:

Thanks. Yeah I'm trying. Worst part: the points never expire. You really like my hotwheels?

Whoops sorry about that , forgive me TB, i didn't mean to bring up something like that on this thread. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.:scared:👍

Well anyway back on topic, curious but how exactly do y'all know when someone creates another account? I take it that you know by there personal information they enter?
