I vote Multi. You'd just be using it for the one private game anyways..

Multi. Nobody will know (well, except for us...) ;)

Besides, nobody ditches me and gets away with it! *evil laughter* MWAHAHA!

i was thinking of people in the GTP forums also.
i wouldn't want some random people joining our game.
i dunno, whatever you guys want, just 18 cars doesn't seem "right" to me

Or maybe Ash and Bee have started a trend - Bring Your Significant Other to BATRacer Season :D

Actually, I think I was the first to adopt that 'trend' when I introduced my brother, Tag Schwarz (not real name) and his girlfriend, Jessica Weiland, during Season 5 (in which she finished a very respectable 11th in a Super Aguri on 34 points) :dopey:

Yes, but she isn't your girlfriend is she? :p
Don't try to steal our thunder, bud.

Well in that case you could say that she 'stole your thunder' when she teamed up with Tag for Season 6.

So in theory, not only are you being beaten by your other halves, but you were beaten to bringing them too! :dopey:

Sato off (again) as Aguri conclude Bahrain test

Takuma Sato and Jamez Shepherd were in action for a second day of testing on Monday, as Super Aguri wrapped up an eventful session one day earlier than planned, at Bahrain. The busy track conditions, which has limited the team’s progress this week, was still very much in evidence - as Sato quickly discovered.

Busy track conditions in Bahrain slow team testing.

The Japanese driver had completed just a few laps in the SA06 when he went off the track and hit a barrier. The resulting damage put paid to his morning session and only some quick repair work by the Aguri mechanics saw him back out on track in the afternoon. Soon after, however, an unrelated technical problem ended his session. He managed just 12 laps in total, with his quickest, a 1m 42.834s, almost 6 seconds off his best time from Sunday.

In comparison, Shepherd enjoyed a much more productive day in the other SA06, as he continued to familiarise himself with his new team. The Australian completed 83 laps and, once the traffic improved in the afternoon, clocked a best time of 1m 31.007s, more than 7 seconds quicker than his Sunday efforts.

The Aguri test team will move from Dubai to Japan next week, when they resume testing at the Suzuka circuit on Wednesday, with Yamamoto and fellow test driver Takuma Sato in charge of driving duties.

Edit: Yes, I am aware that the pic is of the only two teams that aren't taken yet :dopey:

Meh, if you have trouble making up numbers I'll join a vacant team, and make up some silly story about returning to a smaller team for less expectation. lol

Beyens turnaround, joins Red Bull Racing

In a late turnaround from the former champion, Jef Beyens has joined Red Bull Racing. More on this story as information develops.....

Davidson Happy To See Beyens Stay

Lee Davidson was happy to hear of the news that Jef Beyens has put a hold on his retirement by joining Red Bull Racing for the season.

"It's great to see Jef still on the grid, he's one of the few charasmatic characters left on the grid these days. We have had our fair share of heated battles over the season but we ultimatley have the highest respect for one another so it's safe to say I'm happy for him to choose to stay on in F1."

Beyens wasn't the only one who was planning on retiring though as Davidson himself also once announced he was to retire at the end of last season,

"Well I was heading into retirement when first of all Nick Fry asked if I was intrested in returning to Honda for one last through of the dice. To say the offer was intresting is a understatement. However, I felt their current drivers were at the peaks of their careers and I didn't wish to ruin it. Then Frank (Williams) came over during the weekend of the Hungarian GP asking if I was intrested in signing on for another year, I told Jackie (Stewart, Davidson's Manager) but he felt I had better options. That's when he told me Ron Dennis had been in contact with him about a return to McLaren. I finally started having serious talks with Ron after the final GP at Brazil which was when my contract with Williams finished. We had a chat about the future of the team and he included me in their plans. I was shocked! A deal was written up and mutually agreed with the official signing the Friday after."

Davidson last raced for McLaren back in Season 4 where he produced a strong Top 5 performance. He has so far had a number of tests with the team,

"The crash wasn't my finest moment I'll admit, but I think I understand the car alot more now, it's different from when I last raced for the team a few seasons back. Atleast I get a free Vodafone phone eh?"

Lee appears to be enjoying racing again, his unique calmness and determination could very well see him back at the front again this season, wether he does or not, Lee will always have a smile on his face.

Daaamn I look good in McMerc colours..

Beyens' first taste of Red Bull.
Jef Beyens' suprise move to Red Bull has meant no time for testing the car before the season start. So when Beyens got in the car in this mornings practice he didnt know what to expect. Having driven a Ferrari before the engine was no real challenge however the car itself proved tough for the Brit managing only 9th quickest.

Beyens this morning

Both are possibilities.

If its Ok with everyone I think I will provide picture reports from each round:) Perhaps 4-5 pics for each race and 1 or 2 from qualifying?

I cant stop winning in public F1 2006 games..2 mid season 2 full, I have had 1 midland win in a mid season, 1 toyota win in a midseason, 4 wins in one of the full public out of 5 races..and 1 in the other public championship im in..

7 race wins in the past..11 races.

I'll see what I can do about Jessica in RBR, but I cant promise anything.

Wait, I have a great idea... I'll see if I can follow the trend and join up my 'Significant Other' ;)

If you see a 'Monique Hallinan' join RBR, then you'll know who it is.... sound good?

lol oh joy, looks like it'll be RBnR (Red Bull n00b Racing) j/k

Yeah whatever, I don't mind, I'll do the season with or without a teammate.

Out of intrest, can anyone explain or know how the to apply the shading & highlight layers using photoshop etc?
It's been bugging me all day

Yea, however Matt has posted the layers for the Le Mans carset and i've been trying to preview the DBR9 with the layers but it won't work for some reason

Make sure the shading and highlight layers are above the painted layer i guess.
