Hayha punts Dubois off in a battle over tenth place.

Umm, wasn't it the other way around?!

Another Trendell - Machiels top 2 for tomorrow, this time, I hopefully won't be retiring 👍

Super Aguri starting to go back to where they should be by the look of things.. :(

Bee's Transfer Report!

Well, we are well into the silly season of F1 now with many drivers swapping teams for Season 11, heres a quick run down of who's going where so far:

McLaren:

McLaren are going brave with a completely new line up ditching both World Champion Brad Horton and Qualifying Pro, Simon Trendell. Coming in is another impressive Australian, Simo Hayha, from Williams and Laura Rees who has been poached from BMW. The two drivers have never teamed up before and it should be intresting how they both work together, none the less it is an impressive line up.

Predicition: Simo will probably edge it thanks to experience but if Laura can get the ball running early, she can be a force to contend with.

Super Aguri:

Tempting veteren Lee Davidson out of retirement is a major boost for Aguri as they look at him to bring home a World Championship in his 11th season. His presence should keep the team motivated enough to churn out a consistant challenger. His team mate has yet to be announced but with Charkaoui going elsewhere, the replacement will have a task at their hands competing with the Brit. [/Bias]

Predicition: Lee always appears to be fast out the gates but can never hold it for a whole season, if he can keep up the motivation however, a Championship shouldn't be too far off.

Williams:

Like Super Aguri, Williams have targeted a veteren of the sport for their S11 challenge. Ashley Butler joins the squad after a so far disastrous S10 with the uncompetitive Honda, Ash has shown great flashes of speed in the past and hopefully should feel refreshed after 3 seasons with Honda. His team mate has also yet to be decided on but with a few drivers such as Brad Horton or Blake Haswell still available, Williams could have a great line up on their hands.

Predicition:
Butler is an experienced force but has never quite made it to the top, perhaps S11 can be his year but both he and Williams will need to be fully focussed to take it.

Spyker:

The suprise package of S10 so far, Spyker were quick to keep hold of S8 Champ David Smith for another season. They have also managed to poach Duncan Hutchinson from their engine suppliers, Ferrari, to keep Smith on his toes throughout the season. Hutchinson brings in plenty of experience from front running teams and should be more than a helping hand at the team.

Prediciton: It will be great to see Hutchinson take on the new challenge of a team who haven't quite made it to the top yet, Smith will be in familiar territory and should hit the ground running, scoring high points very early on.

Red Bull:

The only team not to have confirmed either driver yet, perhaps they are biding their time or is that Horton/Haswell deal taking that long?

Prediction:
Horton/Haswell superteam in a big money deal to see out their careers.

Ferrari:

Deciding against keeping the services of British duo Duncan Hutchinson and Ben Dunstan, Ferrari have brought in the Tifosi's hero, Jef Beyens to spearhead their S11 campaign. They have also looked into the future by signing a rookie as Jef's team mate in the name of Dylan Strzempko who will be looking to impress in his one shot with the team.

Predicition: Jef should blow Dylan away in the first half of the season but once he gets up to speed the two could be very closely matched.

BMW Sauber:

Loosing both Rees and Beyens is a huge blow to the team as they look to get back into their championship winning ways for S11. They have signed two very experienced drivers however with Bram Machiels and Herman Chang driving the BMW badge for S11, Bram joins from Red Bull Racing and Herman joins from Williams.

Predicition: They will most probably stay in the midfield for S11 as they continue to try and advance forward.

Renault:

Looking to regain their former superiority, the Anglo-French team have signed Abdeslam Charkaoui from Super Aguri after impressing so far in S10. They have yet to confirm a team mate however so it should be intresting who will land the second seat as potentially, they do have a fast car.

Prediction: Maybe a return to the mid-field.. But that's about it.

Honda:

The biggest fall from grace in S10, Honda appear to be in deep doo doo having failed to recieve a single podium so far. They are therefore taking drastic measures in order to push themselves back up the order with the signing of Simon Trendell who last raced for the team in S2. Joining Trendell is another Brit, Danny Graham from Renault, looking to regain a bit of intrest after a fairly poor S10.

Prediction: With his single lap awesomeness, Trendell should blow Graham away in qualifying, however the race pace may be more closely matched, one to watch.

Toro Rosso:

Much was expected of the team in S10 after signing Blake Haswell and Luke Mason, however those expectations are not being filled currently and thus the two Aussies have been given the chop for S11. Replacing them are Suzanne Taylor and David Knowles, both with a point to prove.

Prediction: Taylor should get the job done as Team Leader and edge out her far more inexperienced team mate, however, stranger things have happened..

Toyota:

Still floundering in last place, the paddock is amazed the manufacturer is still pumping in money after year upon year of little success. For S11 they have so far signed Season 4 champion Guillaume Dubois from rivals, Honda. His team mate has yet to be confirmed but they will certainly have some trouble as Dubois is renown for outpacing his team mates from Day 1.

Prediction: Maybe Horton or Haswell could give Dubois a run for his money but the Canadian should take the number 1 status within the team and run.

Indeed, although that prediction is probably accurate. 👍

I think I can answer this one entirely in internet memes:

ORLY?
oshi-
...moar.

Also, new strategy:

I think I'm going to enjoy crashing out of the remaining 3 races 👍

At least my teammate did well:D

Yes, yes he did. Totally wasn't expecting it though.

Congratulations to Brad too, only his team mate can take the title off him now..
👍

You guys are nuts, I swear, either of you take me out and I'll be opening a can of e-whoop ass on you.

My aggro's actually only 55, unlike a certain Renault driver...:sly:

Oh, bring it Yuuji. You've had this coming a LONG time.:D

You are no concern of mine, Davidson.

Yuuji will probably hit you though, he's inaccurate at aiming.

I wonder who I was aiming for then with my inaccurate aim that hit Graham twice :dunce:

Also, sign 2 of the incoming apocalypse who is named DCS:

Shame I'll miss his debut season, don't know if he's any good or it's just the fact that he never sleeps from his 72 games (12 * 6 accounts: the possibilities...)...

I vote we speculate wildly on everybody who views the thread, mainly because I just looked down and now I see daan (a name just begging to be stretched out in slow motion). ^^

Must be a slow afternoon for me.
