Hey, guys. been out of town most of last week. Just saw that we have a V8 game going. I'm interested. Who needs/wants a teammate and I'll join up. The team name would help too since I don't recognize half the names.
 
Well, it was a tough decision and so I flipped a coin. Impreza04 wins my skillful driving.

I don't think affirmative action can apply here. Besides I was the one looking for the team and it would only apply if you chose not to let me join.

V8 guinea pig update

Pukekohe race 1 - 100% setup going in, but left my agro and mech sympathy low to grab some decent points. An oil pressure problem on lap 24 saw me lose a potential top 10 finish and settle for 19th. My team mate and I lie in 15th and 16th in the championship and 6th in teams. Lead developer, Jules Hatton, won the race and currently leads the champ with a healthy 50 point gap.

Due to a number of retirements I will start the dreaded reverse grid race from 6th. I've set my agro, speed, and mech symp around 60 each so we should have some fun crashing and bashing and blowing up towards the end.

If you are hoping to steal the coin you will have to attack the soda machine at work. I imagine it will look much like your new avatar. :lol:

Don't know why you wanted me so bad. Except for my original BTCC championship I have done a pretty poor job.

Whoever created the V8 Supercars game, please, PLEASE, start it at UK lunchtime if you can. :)

All my games are in the eveining or in the middle of the night. I'd like a game to run while i'm at work to break up the day.

At least it is while you are awake. I've had two that were at 4 AM for me.

Pukekohe race 2 - reverse grid

Not much carnage so I'm guessing most people turned their agro down. Series leader and game developer, Jules, retired during the race so the battle for the championship has closed right up again. A solid race from me - 6th to 5th leaves me in 12th on the ladder. Lesson learned from reverse race = high grid placing can get away with high agro to stop others passing, low grid placing needs good pitstop stategy and some safety cars to advance.
