No offense, but really, we could use without you making a comment about Super Aguri in every post you make.

Is this because you're in a Ferrari, and a 14yr old girl in an Aguri is only 1 point behind you in the championship?

However, there is something called believing in your team, something that i've seen nothing from Ferrari this season. Lee has taken his car for granted, expecting to win all the time, and you've shown nothing of effort in supporting him... I'm not trying to start anything here, and I'm not being hostile... I just think that if you want results, you both need to learn to work together. If you do that you can't not win the championship. Jef Beyens isn't exactly showing a great performance... I'd actually some his season up as Jarno-Trulli-effort... a win at Monaco, and a few podiums around it... nothing compared to his team mate. So if you work together there's nothing to say that you still can't beat Renault.

As for me, I'm just stoked as to how easy this game really is... like seriously, once you've worked out the basic math, and to only use even multiples of 2 when deviding estimates in your setup... the whole game is super easy!

Oh, and these numbers might help... which once again only took basic math.

I'm not going to say what they mean, because it's bl**dy obvious

5 - 0.45 - 0
10 - 0.9 - 1
12 - 1.09 - 1
14 - 1.27 - 1
15 - 1.36 - 1
18 - 1.63 - 2
20 - 1.81 - 2
30 - 2.72 - 3
35 - 3.18 - 3

Now that you have those numbers... and know that you only devide your setup estimates by even multiples of 2 that devide evenly into themself (2,4,8,16,32), you should win every race... or at least beat Aguri  👍

And with that, I'd like to cancel my contract with Red Bull Racing and take on the challange of Guillaume Dubois' number two at Williams in S6.

And yet a week ago when i decided that i had changed my mind and wanted a faster car when it was avaliable, it wasnt accepted as i had already signed a contract? Go figure??:indiff:

And yet a week ago when i decided that i had changed my mind and wanted a faster car when it was avaliable, it wasnt accepted as i had already signed a contract? Go figure??:indiff:

I think it was because somebody else had already made their interest in that position more noticable before you did.

I wouldn't worry, you're in a BMW next season right? They're pretty damn good, I've seen a few championships won with the BMW - actually 2 of the 3 I've completed were won by a BMW - the other by a Toyota 👍

Shepherd, we'll see how happy you are with your team after a middling 2nd season and an absolutely crap 3rd season (if you catch my drift) :)

Ok, but I'm already middling this season, and getting beaten by my female - and younger/less experienced - team mate. I'm just stoked that I've worked out the perfect Qualifying Strategy... I've been using it in every private game as well so far. Jess started using it in a private game with a Toyota... her Qualifying Average to the Monza GP is 1.7 :sly: - If you can find a better average over 1 season than that, then hit me up... btw, her abilities on that game are Commited and Consistant - so there's no speed demon or pole sitting king crap to give her an advantage - we just checked her qualifying results and her lowest is 4th... 6 poles... 80% front row starts 👍

Next season I'm going to have a past championship winner by my side, and a faster car... with common sense, how can it possibly go down hill?

"and getting beaten by my female - and younger/less experienced"

is that really freaking important
i'm kinda getting sick of hearing this crap
who freaking cares?

I have a girl friend that can play CS and DoD almost better than me. So what??? Who said girls can't play?

I expect to see the RBR's owning next season too. Tag has just won his first race starting from 9th in a private game, and he's on pole in malaysia by a whopping 0.768sec... in RBR.

Nice to see he's a race winner but no, I can't see a red bull winning it, it's only ever won 1 race in 5 seasons and that was Ash's win at Sepang this season.

Unless of course they can make a BIG buck in the trend, I wish them the best of luck.

you both need to learn to work together

Ever hear of team talk? We use it plenty. We don't work on our setups alone. There isn't much more you can do than share setups.

Still, we don't need you flooding the topic with stuff like:

[exaggeration]

OMG JESSICA WEILAND GETS POLE LOL

OMG TAG GETS WIN. AGURI WILL WIN NEXT YEAR

WOW LOL MABE U BEAT AGURI WITH BETTER SETUP?

[/exaggeration]

I can understand believing in your team, but your blatant cockiness does get on some people's nerves. Just because you happen to get pole in an Aguri, doesn't mean you've done anything groundbreaking. Apparently you haven't read up about the previous 4 seasons. Plenty of people have done plenty of astonishing things in a low-ranked car.

No offense meant, but we could all use without the amazing amounts of cockiness you are showing just because you're in an Aguri.

Also, we don't need to hear about getting beat by girls. Danica Patrick, ever hear of her? You're pretty much implying that women are inadequate to men when it comes to things like this. All it takes is a brain, a computer, mouse and keyboard to play.

Ah, exactly... so what's your excuse?

Danica Patrick, ever hear of her?

You mean the dude that's pretending to be a chick on BATracer... or is this someone else? Cause Sarah Stevens used to be ranked about 27th I think... and it's a guy... Phil Murray actually.

Edit: Sorry if I'm getting annoying guys - I'm just really impressed by what I've managed to achieve in my first season. :indiff:

Hungaroring Season 5 Race Report: And Now For Something Completely Different

Well, just when it seems like Domingues is going to walk away with the season...he may have to walk a little bit faster after a complete role reversal in Hungaroring.

After a lousy qualifying and a boring start off the grid the Renaults were still mired back in the high 10s. Somewhere in front Dubois pinballed into Charkaoui and spun both of them out, and forced the Honda driver to the pits for damage control.

One lap later Dubois continued his rampage when he drove into Morley for no good reason, and nothing really happened anyway.

And then on lap 13 just as Domingues got into points position his car promptly lost control and drove into a wall. And so there was his first DNF in the last 8 races. With Davidson eventually gaining the lead 3 laps later certainly the Renault crew had reason to sweat a bit.

Somewhere in that 3 lap period Shepherd's Aguri pit crew continued to suck with a whopping 27-second pit stop, the details of which have not been released.

Lap 20 saw the two Midlands somehow pit on the same lap but luckily one was sucking and the other was not so the pit box was clear in time.

At this point Davidson was quite driving away with the race, which was clear when the Ferrari crew dropped 10+ seconds on the pitstop and still got him out ahead of 2nd-placed Hutchinson.

And then on lap 28 Horton and Kawasie had a spatial disagreement and drove into each other. They promptly performed a spectacular air show into the sand trap, at which point they got out unharmed, took a bow, and began to beat the crap out of each other. Both had retired from good runs in points positions.

Oh, and the Safety Car came out and people pitted. Then it went away at the halfway point.

There were some driver errors somewhere back in the field resulting in comedy, but the main focus was up in the front where Chang was keeping very impressive pace with leader Davidson, before the McLaren pitted early and lost ground.

When the pitstops were all said and done Davidson was clear 10 seconds of both McLarens, but it was obvious that McLaren was still having a good day.

Laps 56 and 57 saw much mechanical hate from Weiland's and Whitcomb's cars as something important broke in both of theirs, slowing them down.

Lap 60 saw no less that 3 cars, all in points positions, make quite entertaining (and for the teams, heartstopping) bobbles, yet all came out unscathed.

And then one lap later Beyens in the surviving Renault tried the same thing and wrecked from 5th position. And just like that Renault was leaving with a goose egg for the day.

With 5 to go McLaren's day turned sour when Dubois made a daring move on the inside of Chang. It didn't work. Chang broke his suspsension and promptly was forced to retire, dissapointing, from a podium position, while Dubois spun and carried on. In a podium position.

And that was pretty much the end of it with Davidson getting a much-needed win with a strong lead over 2nd-place Hutchinson, who saved McLaren's face, and Dubois. Shepherd (Aguri) was 4th, Mason (Toyota) 5th, Allman (Ferrari) 6th, Whitcomb (BMW) 7th and Weiland (Aguri) 8th.

With that 10 points were chopped of Domingues's massive lead, bringing down to 24 points. It's certainly a large margin to make up with 5 races to go (an average of ~5 points a race to make up), but anything can happen...

You're probably the most annoying members we've ever had participate in BatRacer. The staff should have just kept you banned.

You mean the dude that's pretending to be a chick on BATracer... or is this someone else? Cause Sarah Stevens used to be ranked about 27th I think... and it's a guy... Phil Murray actually.

Don't play stupid.

Edit: In other news...

Davidson comes out on top, Aguri sticks foot in mouth, 25+ second pit stops are the cool thing to have nowadays, apparently.

Jef Beyens isn't exactly showing a great performance... I'd actually some his season up as Jarno-Trulli-effort... a win at Monaco, and a few podiums around it... nothing compared to his team mate. So if you work together there's nothing to say that you still can't beat Renault.

I don't need you to criticise my Batracer performance. It's a two man effort and I fully help Bruno with the setups. People have on and off seasons, hell ask Lee how I am at BATracer. We did a game in Minardi's and were kicking ass.

Also on weekends I can't get on the computer in the morning to double check everything cause I have to go to work.

As for my credentials:

5139 F1 Season 4 P3
3883 GTP F1 2006 Season 3 P2
1934 GTP 2006 Season 2 P3
262 GTP F1 2006 Season 1 P9

WTF??? I don't think it matters, considering I still managed to pull 4th, overtake 5 cars in the last 10 laps, and I'm sure you were one of them!

Don't play stupid.

Im not, I honestly have no idea who she is. Unless it's that chick that raced in IRL last year and got the BAR/Honda test in the winter off-season testing before this season? Some British chick isn't she? I thought her name was someone else though... that is if that's who you are talking about... if not, I have no idea who she is?

This just sucky-wet-patch-on-your-pants. I have my pitcrew set to 37 and me to 41 - lol, I suppose this is the crap I put up with for being at Aguri.

Anyone know how to make these cucumbers any quicker? Maybe a magic wand to turn them into a brick might be helpful!

Next time I'm going all out in the pits 100/100 all the way... hopefully I can run over the fool that's making my stops so slow!

Yeh, sorry buddy. I'm aware of your history here. I wasn't making a serious comment, just trying to make light of a rather disapointing season for you personally, and trying to show the Ferrari boys that there is still light at the end of the tunnel. As for team work I'm well aware that you guys work hard together for setups etc, it shows in your Practice and Warm Up with more often than not, you running around first getting the basics right.

The Jarno comment just fitted well, and I had to say it... Renault, driver #2, only win at Monaco, podiums around (Jarno got a podium at Barcelona I think, and another race just after Monaco). You've got to admit, it is uncanny how your season has a vivid reflection of Trulli's 2004 Renault campaign!

better late then never at toyota...

/pump up self/
i think there just being competitive on account there loosing the greatest talent they have ever had at the team

/deflate/

Nope, that's Tony Kanaan.
:)

And that is Katherine Legg, currently in CART racing.

Seeing as no one is really helping you out here, Danica Patrick is a female racer in the IRL Championship over the pond. She finished a highly respectable 4th at the Indy 500 and has recently signed a new contract with Andretti Green, highly considered as one of the championship's front running teams.

There has also been rumours of Formula 1 bosses holding talks with her. If Jessica likes motorsport, Danica is certainly a good role-model.

Jef

Damn straight!

James, or Jamez, or Mr.Shephard, I credit your new to this series and of course you have a right to talk about some very nice results considering the car you and Jessica are in. But there's a point when it becomes bragging rather than discussing, granted MachOne has spoken out against this very strongly, but please do take a step back a minute and just remember, it's a game that is to be enjoyed by every competitor.

Thank you.
:)

Oh and, Thanks Lee, for revising the setup at the last moment, rather than doing it earlier (say, maybe not when there's 10 minutes left til qualifying?).

Well, hey MachOne, at least your teammate revises your setup. *shrug* Another Midfield start...maybe if I start calling the team Frontland instead of Midland I'd start doing better...</badjoke>

EDIT: Oh, and just noticed, have you been skipping out on the public V8 Bee? Dead last...

Oh I'm sorry, maybe next time I wont do it at all then? :p I'm sorry if I was with my girlfriend for the day. :grumpy:

EDIT: Oh, and just noticed, have you been skipping out on the public V8 Bee? Dead last...

Yeah that's on my other account, I don't use it anymore.

Never got a chance to update you all on my pub V8 game (like you want to hear it :dunce:). I entered the last race with a 29 point lead, starting from 18th, with 2nd in the championship starting on pole after winning the previous two races. Needing to finish within nine places to win, I was obviously a bit nervous about it all, but I managed to place 10th to his 3rd, so I won the championship by 5 points. :)

Stat of the season: 0 - Number of wins on the way to the championship.

Now waiting for my RoC to start...if any champions have a slot open, feel free to join the game, it will be interesting to see who fares better on a level playing field, as my team is already full.
