Hmm...I got lucky, then. :lol: Won on an 11-stopper at Sebring versus people running 5, 6, 7, or 9 stops ... but then again, 6 people retired in our class. :scared:

And for Le Mans classes, I tend to go for LMP2 nowadays because I like to think the competition would be less there, since people would either go for the fast class (LMP1), the slow class where they THINK no one goes (GT). Then again I do have those two guys in my game like Sharky pointed out, so we'll see how fast they are once I don't have a wet weather advantage.

At the risk of sounding redundant - I do believe this is the fourth time I've sked - what are the best tyres to be using in LMES, or is this some sort of knowledge? If so, what do I have to do to get it?
 
CCYosh: Yeah, LMP2 is very nice in that aspect - however, occasionally another guy thinks nobody'll go there. And yeah, GT is always full with a team from BATracer Stupids or the likes - fast guys, usually in a Porker.

I've won in Yokohamas, Dunlops, Michelins and Kumhos. In each, either I or my teammate were champions. Tyres in LMES are pretty much equal over the long run, but Yokos seem a bit faster.

In other news, I stumbled upon a empty LMES game. I was tempted by the R8, but went with my old friend the LMP2 Courage with the AER P4 engine (+ Yokos, of course ;)).

Then I was being my usual cocky self to Yuri (Laszlo Brogg.... oh, forget it, it takes too long to type :P) as he teamed with Vito in an Aston.

So he joined LMP2 with one of his other accounts.

That means I have to beat him or I'll look like a right muppet ;( Metar, more tips please! :lol:

If only they'd let us run more than one LMES game at a time ... I get it that with 48 players, they're huge, but still, LMES is my favourite car set and the one I've had the most success with.

Back when I joined a mid-season with my other account (accidentally!), I asked Jules if it's ok - he said he doesn't like it, but if it has to happen, then ok. Just report him. :P

Guys, my Formula Atlantic team in the RLB ran into some troubles as it appears as though my main driver, Michael Neumann, disappeared - and the season is scheduled to start today.

Real-Life BATracer is focused on roleplaying to make up stories around the results we generate using the BATracer carsets - at the moment, there are three championships: The Formula Atlantic, Formula Trinity, and Formula One, in that order of importance. My team contests the Formula Atlantic championship, but one of our drivers, Michael "Liane Solfrank" Neumann, appears not to have returned from his holiday.

Anyone up for it? Role-playing is the main goal of the season, of course, but currently, I just want to make it to the grid in the first place.. It's a champcar season at the bottom of the ladder, but I'm hopeless at the moment. If anyone's interested, here's the address. CCYoshi is a class higher and I'm in the F1 league driving a Ferrari, just to show you that driving-skill is secondary. :P

Welcome to the real world, Sean. I (we, with Ford as well) knew it since he joined (confirmed with IP-checks - they either use very similar addresses, or work together in Indonesian universities), but signed him/her because I thought, as a BATracer addict, s/he'd return quickly...

Well he won't be in my game as we've already started.

Plus, I checked all of his accounts to see if he had any active LMES games - which he didn't - before reporting I had a Vito-free game because one of you might run off to him. It's not that I don't like the guy - he's certainly very friendly - he just has far too much good luck.

Well, I've decided that I would give the game another chance so I really could use your help. Also, which messenger? You weren't really specific:P
 
So I land another unreliable team-mate and move to sack him when he shows no interest in playing th game (yes, I'm ruthless, I already know). Somehow he survives, so his predicatable response is to initiate a sacking of me. I'm pretty sure the Powers That Be made that feature to get rid of unreliable team-mates, not for cheap tit-for-tat attacks.

Alternatively, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "28692" into the box. The game password is "race". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.

Be aware that many people seem to think this is an error by Jules, allowing them to be made. So I wouldn't be TOO surprised if the game is deleted...

Do we have enough people for an LMES, though, or are we just going to do one / two classes?

I don't know how you "accidentally" enable private games for a series, unless he was just doing a special case for someone and forgot to turn it off or something. Maybe he's testing server load? Who knows.

*crosses fingers for an official announcement soon - come on, Total Mayhem III!!*
 
I know he allowed Vito a private LMES game, I imagine he just forgot to switch it off.

Either way, Jules is deleting all the private LMES games. :(
