Just missed you mike.

@ holli and sureshot, sorry guys I joined 2/3 of the way through of our first round. Lag was there but kind of playable.
Second round lag was horrible, felt like I was in another game then I got cut :grumpy:.
I went and tried another server and was served up the same and decided to call it a night.
Hopefully we have better luck next time.

Agreed, the lag in those SQDM games was horrible. I don't know why we weren't all put in Delta when it was empty, instead they split us between Alpha and Charlie. You would hope that it may stay like that for one game but then at the end of the round it could balance and we could of all been on the same team. You and Sureshot were messing us up that game at Oman, but we started to come back a little bit on one of the last ones at OP Metro. We were let down by our other squad mates though.
This was that game, and as you can see, we were severely hindered by those two guys who were 6-10 and 6-12. What can you do though.

Had some very average games after that though, won three in a row easily, held all bases and just waited for tickets to count down, only for us to get base raped as US on Canals, probably one of the most unbalanced map IMO.:crazy:
 
I was going for the Melee ribbon in that round (which I got), thus my poor score and you seeing my running around like a headless chicken (attempting to flank, I got close at Oman) :lol: I think you killed me about 5 times in that round. SQDM is great for upping the Assault class (i've yet to unlock it all), quite fun, but yes, quite laggy.

Canals is horrible, way too easy to pin them/be pinned back to the ship and then you have no chance. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a game there.


Oman SQDM was fun, same two guys did bad for your team again, hollidog. Worse, even, 4-11 and 4-13!

The G3 is the best AR I've found so far. I see plenty of others having success with the F2000, but got no reason to dump the G3 atm.
 
Get some work done you.

Every time I log into Battlefield and you join a game, I see that you've levelled up once more while I've been at work.....

Add Cowboys965 for some squad play. Haven't touched this game in a while do would like to play with some guys.

Assault has some great choices - F2000, FAMAS, M416...I get to taste a fair bit of AEK lead too, so it cant be all bad. Maybe that is why you can star up an Engi twice for each star you get as Assault.

I'll probably be able to get on in a few hours and we can squad up (get your mic, Mike :p). We could try some Javelwin and SOFLAM on some of the bigger maps.

I use the aek regularly, very nice AR with very low recoil and quite decent range even with a surpressor. Wich also improves the recoil even more. one of my fav's i have to say ;) .

on a side note, claymores on tdm are doing my head in :)

Sounds good mate 👍. Yeah that's my normal times that I get to play. On the odd occasion I do manage to slip in a hour here or there.
I still get carried away with the USAS on occasions and kill myself :lol:. Metro is the worst for this.

Friendly reminder to watch the spelling mate ;).
I also forgot I have the AS VAL now, which I should really try out. I miss the gas powered weapons from BC2...

I was copping it from having teammates run between me and the intended target! :D
 
Tried L96 yesterday, nice sniper for long shots, but as my nature is all about offense, i had to switch to my favorite SKS for close or middle range fights :-) + pistol g17c. To be honest I could play only with pistol :-). I was giving lots of headache to USAS noobs :-). Pistol vs USAS = pistol wins :-)

That's weird, I haven't been in one for about 6-8 months.
Then yesterday, I have to take one to Sutton.
The suicide doors are always a point of interest for the uninitiated, as is the 🤬 🤬 mother 🤬 piece of 🤬 handbrake.

I've been having a lot of fun in the choppers lately, as I have with the jets.
Managed to level up my jet a few times in the last few games last night, and I still maintain that this game just gets easier the more you play.

The flipside was when I started at Metro. :grumpy:

We started in the tunnel, took C, then I ran clean past everyone, hurdled the barriers like an olympiad, went and sat in a corner of the building stairwell and took A.
We were starting to take B as well, when the opposition decided they wanted A back, and came en masse.
I couldn't cope with EVERYONE, so I died, but while I was choosing where to respawn our team lost C.
Then A.
Then B.
I was back in the tunnel.

I re-took C, then ran back to A, again simply by RUNNING PAST EVERYONE I managed to re-take A.
Then we lost C at exactly the same time I was capturing A.
I noticed a pattern here: I was the only one taking any objectives.
I tried to win the whole match by myself, but in a lobby of 24 players, I couldn't cope whenever the enemy came after me, and in the end I sat there on the spawn screen watching my team kill the bad guys coming down the stairs into the subway, and then just sit there, 12 feet from the C flag, and wait for more to come downstairs.
One of our guys finished 37-3 I think, but I also think the only flag he took all round; was the initial C.
What's that abbreviation?

I hate it when this happens... Youre the only one capping flags or arming Mcomms and the rest just sit back and do absolutely nothing to help, just kill, kill, kill... What was the guys score with 37-3? Its funny when you see the scoreboard after a match and you see the top scoring player with an average amount of kills, but a HUGE score because they PTFO!

Apologies it was late when i posted it :), fixed.

Yes i have recently unlocked the AS Val, but havnt brought myself to use it because of its apparent short range. Nice looking weapon though, even though being integraly suppressed.

What new weapons would you guy's like to see included in the dlc to come?.

myself i think the Steyr Aug, FN Fal, Spas 12/15, AA12, Tavor Tar 21, Insas AR and last but not least the original Mp5, would all be worthy additions. :)

I have been playing this game a lot since christmas and loving it. BUT there is one thing in this game that drives me just insane with frustration and is very unbalanced. The people that use those flying MAVs to kill people. They hide somewhere on the map and fly these things the ENTIRE game into people killing them over and over and over again. Usually ending with at least 22/0 or 20/0. I know the engineer land rocket launcher will lock on but that does not work in tight smaller maps. So seriously how in the heck do you take those things out!!!!?? :ouch::ouch::ouch:👎:banghead:

Other than that frustration, I still love multiplayer. I only play Conquest and spend most of my time going to the checkpoints and destroying vehicles. :)

I tend to find the MAV killer games to be easier if you just forget about them, I tend to find those games can be won by a 100 tickets or more. It does nothing for the objective if there's any more than one person with a MAV on a team of 12.

VEXD - Hardly been in choppers of late, tend to find I jump in one with a pilot who can't fly (not me ;)). Jets - I'm about to unlock the Rockets, that'll give me something to kill the tanks with, guided missiles so rarely work in air combat cos of flares. We need to go chopper killing again soon, dude, cos we kick ass.
 
Another thing with MAV killing.. If you hear that thing near you, go prone... Makes it way harder for them to kill you... :)
 
Had an amusing moment on Caspian last night. I was PTO unlike my squaddies when I died and the phone rang, so I spawned on the US deployment and hid inbetween some crates while I was on the phone. While I'm on the phone I notice this chopper hovering above our spawn and I think 'wtf is our team doing here', when I realise, oh ****, it's the enemy! Minute or two later, end the phone call and this guy is still there. He starts to fly real low, so I hit him with a SMAW (flukey shot), he and two buddies jump out, I kill all 3 of them, patch the helicopter up and head off on my merry way. I, er, suicided a minute later but my first heli steal felt awesome :sly:

VSS Snaiperskaya; then I'll have a reason to play recon ;).

gunny, how on earth did we lose that round at Damavand :grumpy:. We had all 3 objectives, then I died and spawned back at base to get a tank. There wasnt one, so I started to run back and 'crack', feel a bullet fuzz my view. Some clown sniper is parked at our deploy somewhere, waiting for I dont know what. I tried to identify which angle he might be, but he got me. So I came back as a sniper, found him but missed the kill because of my leet sniper skills. Eventually someone else spawned to deploy and with distraction I could mark him and get rid of him.

Then it just seemed like a wall of enemy pouring out the tunnel. I got the MAV up to spot them but by the time we got our flag back, it was 20-20 and with them holding 2, we lost by 3.

We got crushed at Noshahr too - although I had an ok round clearing out what, yes, snipers from the hanger near B.
