Well I have checked the PSN through the morning and nothing? Got an email invite telling me how to access the Beta but still not seeing it on PSN. I think I will go out to the gun range and sight in my deer rifles instead:tup:
Christhedudei know right... lemme know once u get an email from origin with the key...
if anyone needs bf3, i accidently ordered 2 copies of the game, so if anyone wants its, PM me...of course pay me back too lol
In the email i got it gives you step by step instructions. On one of the steps it displays my code/key. So i have mine, only im at work.![]()
Christhedudeok, and you bought the game today u said? the 27th?
OmnisAlright so I gotta say, the Frostbite 2 engine just blows me away. I am so impressed with all the little thing. Being dazzled by lasers, the sunlight reflecting off a sniper's scope, how the tactical light is completely blinding in the dark metro up in close quarters.
The PP-2000 is freaking devastating on the Metro map. That thing rocks. It's also pretty funny how next to nobody realized what the Mobile Spawn Point is. I'm recon with the PP-2000, and I just set up the mobile spawn right next to an M-COMM and teleport in to defend or arm it. It's really funny. I racked up 6200 points in one round doing this. Got an email tells me what to do but the beta isn't up on my store yet.![]()
Player7996This game is amazing.
Finally at 8 pm tonight the beta is available: tup: first impression is game is awesome just like bad company 2. To be successful in rush you must work as a team so having a good squad is a must. The blinding from the flashlight and red laser sight is a nice touch. The sun reflection off the sniper scope is a nice touch too! The beta map starts out in a wide open area and moves to close quarter combat in the subway tunnels. The tunnels are great for completely flanking your enemies. I want to see more of the destructive environments, I like what I see so far. See you guys on the Beta Battlefield!
So i'm enjoying the game but why after about half an hour of play each time the game just exits out no error no nothing just like I force closed the game.![]()
Of these the only one I've come across on the PS3 is the getting hit behind cover, however some of that I have put down to the destructible nature of the more lightweight cover, particularly against the LMG's.Well it seems that the issue has gone away. The game off the bat is gorgeous to look at. The game mechanic that has always got me peeved is lag. Lag like you hide behind a structure but you get shot a few more times after hiding behind the wall/structure. Had this issue with BC1 and 2 so it must be Frostbite. Other issue that's marring my experience is to be expected for a Beta I suppose. When prone many times on the outside I begin falling through the map all the time. Also every few seconds there's constantly a flicker that I don't believe is a part of the game. I hope the flicker is not my video card having issues which would be a first for the card since i've owned it. Overall it's a great game, some say it feels nothing like BC2 but some game mechanics definetly remind me of BC exactly. Being the greedy gamer I am I want to start using vehicles!'
Suppression when defending in the Metro tunnels is so well done its mad, and as an attacker it forces you to take a careful approach when you enter and move into the tunnels.Usually I'm an engineer in BC2 but I think this time around i'm going to have to go Support. At least at this early stage I love the brute force they provide and the element of suppression is actually possible in this game so their LMGs actually can be used as they were intended.
