Edit: also I once killed a guy with a Javelin missile because the tank he was repairing popped smoke at the last second, so it veered off into his face. Then the tank driver hopped out, started to repair it, then a noob hopped in without reactive armour or smoke before it was repaired and was an easy double kill for my next missile.

haha i hate it when team mates come out of nowhere when im trying to repair my tank after i just capped a flag... *watches them drive into the sun set*...*doesnt tell them about the mines... lol*

I hate to say it. I think im done with this game until they fix it. After the patch it turned into a big cluster f$%&.

How much post patch time have you put in.
I think most of the changes are for the better. So far I haven't experienced any major bugs like the frozen soldier bug. The first couple of days I had a little bit of freezing issues, but that seems to have smoothed out for me.
My biggest issues are gameplay related. Fast start being probably the top and what seems like way more bad luck deaths.

As for neema t problem, sounds more like a problem on his end where it happens at the same time for both PC/ps3.

There are a few decent player-run servers and if I jump into a really good one, I usually favourite it. There's a 24/7 Wake Island 5-Flag and I love it, such an awesome server.

[sarcasm]I wouldn't expect EA to ruin the game.[/sarcasm]

What the hell, EA?

Yep. The REX also has a better fire rate. It's somewhere around the other semi-auto pistols pre-patch.

Straight after this round last night I received a message on PSN which said "u r dog".
We were being base raped badly by the BMP and everything else they could throw at us.

The only thing I can guess that prompted the message was as I was trying to make my way out of the base spawn. When you turn right immediatly after the humvee you head up an alleyway of sorts. You now turn left (or keep going straight) and cut through a small room which brings you out at the base of the overpass/bridge that crosses the road.

As I turned to enter the small room there was about four guys waiting for anyone coming this way. I armed the M320 got a double kill and ducked for cover. When the M320 reloaded I popped up from cover and another double kill. Rinse and repeat this for six shots, I think the guy that messaged me was reviving the guys I kept killing.

What was his 🤬 problem? I was only trying to get out of our base. He was a high ranked colonel so he's been around long enough to know that all he had to do was flank to avoid the situation.
I can only assume he's some young kid with nothing better to do.

Makes me wonder, why even bother sending messages like that?
In all the hours of my BF3 play I've sent one message to someone I don't know. A guy totally owned our team at Caspian once, getting me about 8 times in the process to me only getting him once. After the round I sent a message saying "well played mate". He actually replied by saying "thankyou my friend".

Sorry for the rant, just peeved me a bit that's all.

Cheers Shaun.

Probably a 12 year old pimpleface. Cut from the same cloth as those who think having a mic on entitles them to eat chips/ scream incessantly/play loud music during a round. Should have replied "bark" to this guy .

The times where I have been super owned in a round by one guy, I usually just say "well played" in the hopes he'll FR me so in the future I have one more known quantity in my friend list.

PS: Getting super tired of running into entire squads equipped with AEK's of late.

In all the time I spent playing MW2, I think I only once received one message from another player. I replied with "lol" after a6 posted that is what he commonly did. I cannot remember if I received a reply back or not. (EDIT: After a bit more thinking, I believe I did and the person did not find it as funny as I did.)

There were times when we played as a GTP group that people would complain vocally about myself or a6 for some "tactical camping", i.e. effectively holding off an entire area because a few people on the other team looked excessively for revenge kills. The few times that would happen, I would change my clan tag to LOL, ROFL, L2P, or something along those lines. Some of the replies to my clan tag changes were quite humorous. It should be said that when the GTPers got together, the pub stomping was brutal. Our best game was a 7500-700 (might have been 800 or 900, either way a complete beatdown); I accounted for three or four of the deaths on our team. Low double digits for the other team were very common.

I get them fairly frequently on a few games, highlight of the BF3 bunch is one which simply said "I remember when I was a fag" which I'm not even sure if that's an insult or just trying to let me get to know them better . Tonight I got a message from a Dark Souls player (who I snook up on and stabbed in the back, then as they got up a swinging blade took them out which was utterly hilarious may I add), he called me something you might put infront of the word cat, but the ironic twist is that I could only 'invade' (to try and kill) players who were in a list of players which had committed some form of 'crime' if you will.

Sadly, it's often the kind of players who send hate mail who are the ones using the same tactics, spawn killers have no right to complain for example as they're killing a helpless enemy regardless of the weapon, but god forbid you pull out a noob tube (pro pipe) to try to give yourself a fighting chance.

Dammit why didn't I think of that. Should have replied "woof woof".

Yeah pretty sure it was because I used the M320. What did he expect, I came across four guys in a small area who were there for the sole purpose to base rape. Sheesh, moron.

Cheers Shaun.

 I usually only get mail from people in my squad who think I played well. That was mostly in BC2, it's only happened a few times in BF3.

Anyway, I came back to this thread again wondering how the patch is? Can PS3 guys talk together now? Are the weapon value changes for the better or worse? I haven't played since the last DLC for GT5 and I haven't played my PS3 since March. So I guess I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to get back into.

PS3 voice is fine. A lot of people complain about the new weapon balance, but in my own opinion the changes were for the better because people can't use the same combo of foregrip/suppressor on every gun to get max-accuracy as well as stealth. It also fixed other things I felt were wrong (such as the flash suppressor being useless [now it rocks]).

Well duh.....

I know that guy.

He's dyslexic.

:irked:👍

Ugh, I swear if you're doing something exactly when the last ticket goes it'll crash every single time. Luckily I was planning on finishing after that round anyway, but geez, that's annoying and it's new since the patch.

Mmm, SKS and Red Dot. Mental game, wouldn't want to do one of those again. Though killing VEXD numerous times was highly amusing, including getting his tags.

Sorry yo the couple of you who popped in. Was practicing flying around with a friend. Helping him get some points :)
If any f you seen"happytime1" don't boot him please.

Dragonistic was mowing me down with his M60... so I threw a 'nade up his ass. :sly:

Good fun man, sorry I had to go so soon.

^^ Thanks man, I tend to get MVP#1 a lot because I go for points like there's no tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have more free time to play longer sessions.

EDIT: I looked it up, and on my Battlelog friends list (which I've tried to add everyone here) I'm fourth amongst GTP'ers in SPM. Currently at 495, but I've been raising it with the goal of 500+. Next goal is to get my W/L back above 2.0.

I just got kicked from a match. I knifed the same player 3 times and gunned him down in every encounter with the M416. I guess he had enough when I brought out the M320 and got a double kill from him and his squadmate twice in a row. I was doing pretty good in the match too, oh well.

I have yet to run into a rouge admin. That's what worries me about custom servers. You never know what kind of moron you'll run into.

I've run across a weird server or two: There was one that I got randomly thrown into that had in its description said "knifing only, shooters will be kicked". I try to run up on the first guy I see and he guns me down. I look up in the killfeed and it's nothing but gun and vehicle kills. I figure "WTH" and go with it. Lasted the whole game doing well and never got any sort of warning.
