True, but I find it disturbing to see major flaws like this only three weeks before release. Good thing about PC is that they can patch it all a lot faster. PS3 version appears really smooth and stable though. šŸ‘

It isn't without flaws on the PS3. I saw people going through walls for instance. But I am having good fun with it, and shall be buying it hopefully in November. I like the destructible environments very much.

you assume that this is how far the game has gotten it seems.
this beta is probably several months old.
 
Just read it's about four months old actually. šŸ‘ But I will still wait for initial reviews before purchasing.

My experience with the PC version of the beta is not very good. It's a bug-ridden piece of crap, and that with only three weeks before release.

I had the complete opposite experience with the PS3 version, runs very well and smoothly. šŸ‘ Too bad I suck so much with the controller as opposed to the mouse.

Let's hope so. I've run into heaps of bugs. Falling through the floor, getting stuck in walls. My favourite is the pirouette my player goes into every so often requiring me to exit the game.
 
Just been on it again. The rush mode, I've now realised is just Demolition from COD. I use the engineer class, I feel comfortable with that. I ran into no bugs in particular in this 20 min game I played, but when you squad spawns on you, and you're prone, you move along a lot. Not really a bug, but annoying nonetheless. The train station part of the map needs to be reworked however, I noticed theres a lot of "Happy" campers hiding behind Objective A or Objective B, as soon as you go by, Bang Bang Bang, you're dead. The high intense lights some players have on their guns can be annoying at times. But overall I'm having a blast with this game. If you would like to play the Beta with me, just add me. When you try to defend bases, isn't it the point to camp?

edit: shotgun is really fun in the subway tunnels. 5 shotgun ribbons in 1 game :P
I like 1 shot kill slugs.

I'm playing on PS3 and it's a real pain to try to start the multiplayer. in 3 days it only went well once. Now when selecting multiplayer it says 'connection to EA online lost' or doesn't do anything at all. I don't understand that I seem to be the only one.
 
Having problems as well for the PC BETA. Each time I click "Join server" the game manager says I'm joining the game, then the window disappears and that's that, nothing happens.

Googled a bit and found that nat 1 should actually be the best setting. I have no issues with playing other games online. Now I finally got connected, joined a game and was thrown out with the same error again after like 5 minutes. Hopefully it will be ok in the full game...

Smooth and stable on ps3..? In my veiw it had the same choppy frame rate and screen tearing as bc2, in this area BF series has alot to learn from COD.

if you experience choppyness you brobably run way to little fps.

at the very least you should have 60-70 in all circumstances.

i havent noticed any choppyness or screen tearing at all.
 
I fixed my post, ment ps3 version. it runs 30fps with screen tearing just like BC2.

But the game seems very good if I just get used to the graphic flow--

Trying out the PC version of the game now. Being a lifetime console gamer, switching to keyboard and mouse is difficult. The mouse part of it is not too bad, the keyboard is a mess for me at the moment.
 
I'm on ps3 and curious on how to sign up or log into the battlefield battle log? I already have a EA account.
 
Just played it on PS3 now. It was ok, I still think bullet damage is too high and despite having never really played an FPS like it I did ok in it. But I really had no clue what was going on.

I played it for about 4 hours yesterday all together and only had one game drop me. I don't really know what happenedd, my entire computer just shut clear off. I really hope it wasn't a power supply problem. The game ran super smooth and not once since I started palying have I ran into even the slightest bit of lag. It's really weird how different people have such different experiences with the same game. For me it's been great and almost bug free. I have had the fall through the map thing in prone, screen flashing, and screen tearing(switching my nvidia panel to vsync fixed the tearing and almost did away with the flashing), but really that's about it.

I'm finally getting the hang of the game. The game that shut me off, I was 6-1 and on my way to greatness. I can't wait to see this game once they let all the graphics running, becuae right now it looks great. The more I play it, the more I start to appreciate the little things they've done.

I hated rush at first. but now I'm really starting to like it. There's alot of strategy involved and when you get lucky to get into a good game where most of the people are actually trying to attack and defend it is a very intense game. Much more team based then the COD modes.

For all the people who are having such big problems, check out the technical section in their forum. there are tons of fixes you can do to get the game to run better. It is a BETA after all, and there will be problems that you have to work around before you can get it to run right. I've only ever done a few BETAs before, but in all honesty this is the best running one I have done yet. Exspecially considering how they are using a new way to run the game with the battlelog thing. I thought it would be a disaster, but I actually kind of like it. It's so easy to check your stats, friends, forums, etc. Everything is right there in front of you in one place.

My buddy and I can talk when we are out of a game, then when we go to play I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me (same goes for buddy). When I turn my blue tooth off then I can hear people talking through the stereo like normal.

What is going on?? My buddy thinks there is a problem with blue tooth and the people we hear have headsets.

Sure seems like it. I can't get my bluetooth to work at all. Only occasionally do I hear people on there.

I'm glad it wasn't just us, I almost threw it out the window last night lol.

I kept telling myself "it has to be the beta, it has to be the beta"
