Had a rather fun CQ game on Bazaar ruined by an M26 glitch whore. I really don't get where the fun is in getting a high K/D by using an OP gun. Every time this guy killed me, it was M26 dart with heavy barrel :grumpy:
 
Last time I saw someone using the Dart, it was on Caspian and every time they killed someone with it the killfeed reported it as "____ KILLED _____" That person only went 9-9 in the round.
 
It's mainly used on high ticket Metro and Bazaar games because even the worst players can get a ludicrous K/D with it. I hardly ever see anyone using it outside of those matches and unfortunately, today happened to be one of those few times. Never seen anyone using it on an open map though.
 
I used it when I first saw it being used against me in those matches. I used it for parts of two high ticket Bazaar and Metro rounds and without much effort I had tons of kills with it.

After that I went back to my normal repetition of using a gun until it is fully unlocked and still beat all those Dart users.

Two guys used it on my regular Kharg server, they were getting kills at ludicrous ranges but were on quite negative ratios, presumably because of vehicles and snipers. As I most often play on open maps I've hardly ever seen it, which is fortunate. Glad they're patching it though.

Ive done this to, the other day i was playing a round of TDM on Caspian, and the other team were intent on only using the m26 glitch. It P!ssed me off so much that i caved in and for the first time since the glitch arose i used it.

the result is below.
A 105 - 57. and i feel dirtier than if i teabagged that fat guy of borat.:yuck:

Yeah I can imagine it being quite easy to annihilate those who use the glitch on an open map. After all, they only use the glitch because they suck any way. That or they're just COD players that don't understand that K/D doesn't matter in Battlefield :sly:

I have honestly never used the glitch and all of my kills (and there aren't many tbh) with the M26 were legit, using it (without underslung rail and heavy barrel) in close quarters combat.

I'd have to dissagree to be honest, a lot of players ive seen using it are quite medium to high ranking colenels. and if they use it it kind of paves the way for use for anybody else simply to keep up or even make a fight out of the match. Wich is what drove me and i bet a few more to fight fire with fire and give it to them back.

That's how it works for me. I'll be on a server more often than not the rules state no M26 and then I'll get killed by one. When I get killed a second time I pull out mine and go hunting for the darter

In a hilarious episode darter I came face to face and we opened fire at the same time. We ended up suppressing each other at point blank range and neither of us died.

All their rank shows is that they've played the game a lot. If I had the time to put 300+ hours into the game I would be that highly ranked. If you have to rely on a glitch to get a high K/D then you suck.

But back to my original point, I really don't get where the fun is in running around with a very OP gun, one shot killing everyone. I also don't get the fun in spending the entire game sat at the edge of the map sniping people.
 
Well yes but if their willing to put that much time into BF3 they are hardly (and i quote) "Just COD players after K/D". Im not justifying the fact that they are using it, I cant wait untill the patch as much as the next guy. No offence but all this whining and "you suck" crap makes you look more like a COD player than the darters.

I would have to agree with the sniping though, How people have the bordom threshold to stick that i dont know. Only time i use recon is when im in a open map and use the semi auto's for battle rifles.
 
I to have caved in and used an M26 + G3 + heavy barrel once and only once and it was complete desctruction (Metro TDM :lol:). Of course it was because 3-4 of the enemy team was using it so I decided to show them what a fairly good player can do with the thing and sure enough I topped the game prior to quitting as my friend rage quit who doesn't have access to it. Prior to this bug I used the M26 MASS quite alot, but out of fear of being kicked from servers I don't use any form of M26 even when I want to (M320 buck works a charm as well though).
 
Funny about that glitch. I agree I've seen mostly high ranking players use it the most. They usually get kicked though. Generally I double my K/D rate over them. I'll have 60+kills with an SMG and they'll have 25 with the M26. I play TDM the most.

Was just going to post this. things i saw:

new mode called tank superiority aswell as, conquest domination and gun game (that we know about).

Aftermath DLC description - "fight for survival".

End game description - "Lethal high speed action".

pictures of some of the vehicles from the armored kill including a quad and truck based artillery.

Anybody have a guess when the uk psn will be updated tomorrow for the new stuff?.
 
Would've rather gotten that instead of Elite Premium. That looks so much better. Can't wait for Armored Kill :D

Considering its the premium trailer i'd guess so.

But by customization, they mean new dog tags, camo sets and camo's for guns.

And yes that plane does look very much like the Hurcules.

If this were the case then i would guess russia would need one to, but they use the Antonov -124 Condor and that is incredibly large. A more suitable choice but less used (IRL) could be the Ilyushin Il-76 Candid.

I wonder if we get a discount if we already have b2k.

If not I'll be purchasing a key from a third party site for cheaper than $50.

Looks good though. Armored warfare looks awesome; can't wait.
