Had my best round so far 👍 mostly done with the UMP45, silenced with the reflex sight. Used the M249 on the last base mowin anyone trying the disarm both M-Coms.

Had a pretty decent team from the start, although we almost lost it on the second base with just a handful of tickets left - i think there was three by the time we got it.
Ultimate banzai charge by about 6-8 players. Awesome sight - and the sound :drool: gunfire just drowned everything inside the subway! I had a buttkicker rigged to my
chair while wearing ear enclosed/bass enhancing/headphones on (best i could describe it lol) so the immersion was multiplied ten fold :drool:


I wish Dice would release Caspian Border for the last few days of the Beta. I'm all but sure that i won't be touching Metro again when the game releases... ok maybe not.

Nice round Masi. You know you can go into battlelog and pull up the log for that round to link it to us right? Pretty nifty.

Anyway, I got to play Caspian a bunch last week, the map has some... issues. But it's a lot of fun, especially using the chopper to destroy kids waiting for the jets to spawn.

Favorite part of the map for me (since I'm a die-hard pilot) is shooting the hell out of the enemy runway. You can actually put holes in the enemy's runway making it super hard to take off regularly from them. Tactics are opening up everywhere!

I love flying too and I'm pretty good at it. 👍 Shooting up their runway should be fun to watch.
 
I am one of the worst pilots you'll ever meet :) I just simply don't fly now. Don't know what it is about it but it will be fun with the new server browser on consoles to practice on a map pretty much alone and try and get better.

Im a hardcore pilot too but if at least the AH-1Z flys well i'll be happy. If not i'll be disappointed.
 
Just how big is Caspian really?

I have never played it but i did alot of flying in Arma 2 and the maps there are insane. I think the map i ran on was 20x20km!

I wonder if the desert map seen in SP will ba avaliable, that looked like a massive map.

I'm pretty sure the tracks on the right are the map's walls. In this picture it's basically reverse from the first picture I showed you.

I felt like this after the Alpha... lol

Metro is no Arica Harbor that's for sure.
 
Im not shure if the has been asked before but i now & then get a magenta colored flash on my screen it'll just quickly flash every now and then .

I believe many people have experienced this including myself. Doesn't happen every game but often. Definetly annoying but hey it's Beta.
 
Anyone know if the aim thing is a bug?

Sometimes i can´t aim with the gun and once when i finally did aim my guy made a "ouch" sound.

When that happens quickly switch to your pistol then back again then you can aim again.
 
Ok thanks good to know, i thought at first i had been shot in the shoulder which inhibited the aiming for a little while until you regained some life :)
 
This happens when you tap the aim button too often, it then "locks" it (like the shift lock from your PC keyboard). It can also happen with the sprint, if that happens, pause and unpause the game.

Man this game is really let down by cheaters.. One guy moved at light speed around the map with half his body under ground killing everything instantly.

Can´t wait for the real game with some proper anticheat program.

It's like 4 harvest days border to border. Takes like 5 minutes to drive from base to base, especially with all the hills and stuff. You can't really use Helis either because planes will ruin your day.

Yeah aborted 2 games yesterday. One because of cheaters (well a russian server says everything) and the second because autobalancing is still off or doesn't work.
I had sub 10lvl in my team against level 20's on the other team.
 
Yea noticed that too, one team had several high level players while mine had at the best lvl 13 players.

I also saw some 30+ ers doing really really bad but i guess they entered a server that just rockets your lvl immensely.

Noticed that my brother also goes in and out of servers and my guess is he only plays on servers where everything i going well.
For me (if there´s no obvious cheating) always stay in the server and fight through it.
I could not care less about my K/D ratio to be honest.
 
Top gear would find it funny that the english suv battle truck is called a growler.
 
How annoying is it when you go prone at the edge of cover, and a "teammate" comes along and ends up pushing you slowly further out of cover just as you're lining up a shot?

But anyway, I've been playing a couple days and the initial impressions that I would need ADHD to play have somewhat subsided and I'm startng to get into the flow. Focussed on the support class today, that's where it's at for me in this beta, I haven't looked back since getting the M249. Racked up a solid 10 kill streak with it today, which compared to how badly I've been playing the past couple days, and the fact that in BF2 I hardly ever used support, was great.

Anyone know if there's going to be an SF class in the full game? Some of the best games I had in BF2 was flanking the enemy all the way to their base to take out drone, radar and arty with a team of SF and plenty of C4.
 
Unlocked everything for the Scar. Now onto the M4.

Edit: Forgot that was merrycan gun only.
