^had the same problem, at least you still got a 9mm but it ain't very effective at long range...

I will let BF3 now rest, we won't see an other map, so I wait now for the full game (there tooo much to play, haven't finished Dead Island, RedOrchestra is awesome as FPS, Next week Rage and then Battlefield, Uncharted Beta still to play,.... Moaning on a high level about meaningless things is fun ;)).

Anyone seen the new jet? :)

Yea tell me about it, if had gotten kills for hitting everything but humans with the 9mm i would be topping the charts lol.

Hey Hampus.... Screw you lol

I even clicked it twice because I was thinking hey there's no jet there... What an idiot.

Then on the other hand its really annoying when people just DON'T GET IT. I remember one round I had exhausted all my ammo and NO ONE would give me ammo to reload... I would follow them and jump around in front of them, but no one understood.... Calls for a huge *facepalm*.... :p

IIRC it was better in Battlefield 2, especially in close quarters or on maps like Karkand. There would be someone saying "ammo here" every 2 seconds.

Just unlocked the AEK971 and it seems ridiculously good at any range.

I used to do that all the time in bc2 and only half the time would they get it, other times i would die next to them or they would kill me themselves, people need to learn that when somebody jumps in front of you and keeps jumpin up and down, that means drop a kit whether it be ammo, health, motion sensor, or you need to repair their vehicle, help them out, and if they are still a nuisance, run away, but first help them out ALWAYS!

In BC2 you could ask for a kit by pressing select when aiming at the player.
This function seems to be taken out of the game...I just don't know why?

I'm sure it will be in BF3, as well as squad commands. It's a great feature that was in BC2 in my opinion.

As far as the ammo/health thing goes, I don't pay a lot of attention to people who jump around at me but I do take notice when someone is shooting, whether it be a primary or a pistol because often times I think it's an enemy (and at this point in BF3 I can't tell the difference) and what I try to do with my ammo/health is to put it in high traffic areas, so people who run through will get the ammo they need, whether they know it or not. But let's face it, in most cases, people aren't alive long enough to run completely out of ammo (unless it's grenades, rockets, or other non-primary ammo) so most people don't care to use it or help out other people

Of course there are times when its not possible to give ammo right away because there is a firefight or something similar. But when I ran out of ammo I was standing near the entrance of the metro tunnels. No enemies in sight trying desperately to get ammo from someone, because I didnt want to die when I entered the tunnels... :) So in my case I wouldve expected someone to atleast drop a pack and move on... I wasnt there to drink tea with them or something :p

i always drop packages near guys that are shooting at the opposition, usually you use so many rounds for example in suppresive fire that some will always run out or have nearly ran out.

cant wait for the full game!

Well my mobile cant seem to do the link correctly so ill just say woohoo too. Lots of win to come for sure.:D

Just read about the new map.

Wooohooo indeed.

Seems like I will be playing BF3 afterall till it expires

Go leadplattform

I need to give the PS3 version of the game another go before the beta ends, so I can decide on which version to get.

I am leaning that way, but I want to be certain that is the way I want to go before I put in my pre-order.

They're stress-testing the servers to make sure no snags are hit with 128 players. Caspian border really feels like a completely different game than metro. I blew up 2 tanks at once by sneaking up on one and dumping c4 on it with my support class. I love doing that. Rockets are for geeky engineers with no cojones.

It's just 64 players total, not 64 per team. Each side is 32 players

Operation Firestorm:

(Sorry about the low quality)

It looks remarkably similar to one of those Frontlines: Fuel of War maps, but bigger and with better design, And I think there is a Kamov Ka-60 Kasatka(MGS2 memories).

Also, an interesting screenshot from single player:
